Joel and Brenda were so easy and fun to work with!!

The food was awesome as well as the service. They brought out the food fast and we didn't have to wait to have them bring out more or even ask for it. The tables were cleared and cleaned up right after dinner. Chuck was the best part of the whole experience with waverly.

We had our wedding here this past fall and the staff was amazing to work with. They were always kind, friendly, and super prepared for each meeting. They asked questions that I didn't know I was supposed to have input on and were very accommodating with dress rehearsal and set up. There was a wedding the night before, so but they ensured we would be able to still have our dress rehearsal outside and that the room was spotless and ready for our decoration set up nice and early the next morning. Our reception was outside with the lake im the background and it was absolutely
breathtaking. An added bonus with Waverly is if weather does not permit, there is always the backup plan of having the wedding inside. Our food was absolutely wonderful (we did family style) and we definitely all had enough to fill us all. There was one hick up with miscommunication with our desert- the pie was not set out for the guests to go grab- but all I had to do was ask someone about it and the next thing I knew my pie was out. The new renovations of the venue are absolutely beautiful and the wireless speakers are a great bonus for speeches and dancing. If I would do it all over, I would definitely pick Waverly again.

Like any other popular venue, your chances are that your chosen date might be booked up already. With that being said, make sure you know you want this venue and book it right away before your date is filled. Their staff was amazing, they set everything up where it was supposed to go (I personally set a lot of it up for my own purposes, but they had this option) The food was good and was perfect for the type of wedding we had. The one thing we wished would have happened was that the air conditioning to be turned on before the day of the wedding (we had one on the 4th of July and our cake and donuts melted) It was a little hard to reach the manager at times, but he was good about calling back or the staff knew the answers to my questions. I do wish I would have known about us needing to clean up the reception hall the night of before everyone left. We were a bit rushed doing so because we didn't know that they required us to clean up our decorations the same night. Overall, it was beautiful! As long as you address these issues I listed, it is truly a beautiful spot to have a wedding :)
