The entire team at St Norbert College is absolutely fabulous to work with. Their professionalism, attention to detail and outstanding communication made the entire experience stress free and enjoyable! They helped to transform
Michels Ballroom into an elegant, inviting and refined wedding space. The delicious food and drink received rave reviews from our friends and family and the staff went above and beyond to meet various guest needs. They allowed us to secure additional space to store our things, sufficient time to set up and take down, and most importantly we’re extremely pleasant during the entire process. We had unexpected inclement weather and their flexibility and organization allowed for a change in venue that our guests didn’t even realize. Not to mention the grounds are absolutely gorgeous for all your photo opportunities. We could not have asked for a more unforgettable wedding day and genuinely thank them for making it the most special day we could have ever imagined!

We had our wedding reception in the Bemis Dining Room and it was perfect! The space was absolutely beautiful and a perfect size. Everyone was amazing to work with and helped make sure all the details were planned out and everything ran smoothly. We received many compliments on the food! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Our experience with the staff at St Norbert was wonderful from start to finish! We worked Jordan, Anna, and Nikki as our managers, and appreciated their responsiveness and professionalism both on the day of the wedding and throughout the whole processes.

We personally had our wedding in the Michels Ballroom, but have also attended weddings at the Bemis Conference Center, and both spaces are lovely. We really enjoyed the balcony at our ballroom. And the wedding managers helped make the room beautiful!

The staff, including the kitchen staff and bartenders were very attentive and the service was outstanding! The food was great as well, and we received many compliments on the food and venue.

Oh my goodness! I do not know where to begin! Everything was so perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and I wish I could've ate more. The bartenders were so sweet and helpful. All of the other staff were amazing. They were so attentive and we were asked multiple times if we needed anything or if there was anything they could do. I don't remember ever needing anything as our wedding party members were making sure we had everything we needed but it was so nice being asked and feeling so taken care of all night. We will definitely be recommending St. Norberts to anyone and everyone needing an event space!

Absolutely loved working with Anna at St. Norbert throughout our wedding planning process. Not only was she organized but kind and helpful, always keeping in mind my vision and hopes for the day. The crew of workers the night of our wedding was also fabulous. Our party ran a bit behind but the staff were polite, and jumped right in to keep things on schedule.

Our daughter recently had her entire wedding at St. Norbert College-the ceremony at Old St. Joseph Church, the dinner/reception at Michels Ballroom, and hotel accommodations at the Kress Inn- all on campus. We had many out of town guests and this was an attractive option for us. The seamless transition between these venues was exceptional with responsive staff all working for us. The Michels Ballroom staff (Carla, Jeremy & Alaina) were right there to ensure a beautiful, successful, and fun-filled evening for the bride and groom and all attending. Pre-planning was great with Chef Ben presenting our entree options for taste testing and available for questions. The food was top-notch and we received endless compliments from our guests. Cocktail hour was fantastic with bartenders and kitchen staff at the ready to serve all. Dinner was elegant, delicious, timely, and everything we hoped it would be and more! The reception and dance were fun and lively. The beautiful setting with large windows overlooking the lush natural campus was breathtaking. We highly recommend Michels Ballroom/St. Norbert College for your wedding venue. They helped create life-long memories for our family of a monumental event which we will always cherish!

Anna and all the staff at The Bemis Center made our reception perfect. They were on top of everything throughout the planning period and were excellent with communication the night of our wedding. Everyone loved the food. The staff helped us clean up at the end of the night as well without being asked.

Perfect truly does not even begin to describe my wedding and the wedding planning process with the St. Norbert College event staff.

I began planning my June 2020 wedding in February of 2019 and had a phenomenal experience right from the start. When COVID hit, they went above and beyond with communicating and keeping me up to date on policy changes. Ultimately, we decided to postpone our wedding until June 2021. Changing our date was positively seamless and painless - Pam was so on top of things.

Once January 2021 rolled around and we started planning again, Pam was incredibly responsive to emails and met with us several times to measure the room, see set ups, etc.... They accommodated our set up and menu requests without even batting an eye. Any question that was asked, the answer was "we can definitely do that!" or "not a problem" which are music to any bride's ears. We were able to spread out and have our dance in a separate space from the dinner which was perfect for our guests who didn't want to listen to loud music all night. We also were able to utilize the brick patio, bistro tables, and take photos in the gorgeous Shakespeare Garden just steps away from the dining room.

The week of, we got to meet with Pam and our day-of coordinators which was wonderful! We knew who to seek out on the day of if we needed anything. We were able to get into the spaces to decorate the day before which alleviated a lot of stress and anxiety. Pam had coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everyone knew where and when to set up which was another headache I didn't have to worry about!

On the day of, everything went off without a hitch - our last minute dietary needs were handled flawlessly, the setup was perfect, and the staff were so attentive to our guests!! At any given time, I could see at least 2 Bemis staff members who were there to assist me and my guests. The bartenders were courteous and friendly and did not over serve, which we really appreciated. All night long, people were asking "who catered this?!" and all I could do was smile and say "St. Norbert!" I heard nothing but compliments and positive comments about the facility and the staff. They helped us with set up, with take down, and everything in between.

I truly cannot thank Pam, Haley, Jenny, and Andrea enough. Every single detail was absolutely perfect and they went miles and miles above and beyond, exceeding any and all of my expectations.
