Oh my goodness! I do not know where to begin! Everything was so perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and I wish I could've ate more. The bartenders were so sweet and helpful. All of the other staff were amazing. They were so attentive and we were asked multiple times if we needed anything or if there was anything they could do. I don't remember ever needing anything as our wedding party members were making sure we had everything we needed but it was so nice being asked and feeling so taken care of all night. We will definitely be recommending St. Norberts to anyone and everyone needing an event space!

Absolutely loved working with Anna at St. Norbert throughout our wedding planning process. Not only was she organized but kind and helpful, always keeping in mind my vision and hopes for the day. The crew of workers the night of our wedding was also fabulous. Our party ran a bit behind but the staff were polite, and jumped right in to keep things on schedule.

Anna and all the staff at The Bemis Center made our reception perfect. They were on top of everything throughout the planning period and were excellent with communication the night of our wedding. Everyone loved the food. The staff helped us clean up at the end of the night as well without being asked.

It sounds cliché, but it's not: if I could give Bemis Conference Center 6/5 stars, I would. Planning a wedding during Covid-19 (and from another state) was full of unknowns. The staff at Bemis (Carla & Anna especially) made everything as stress-free as possible. They were very communicative throughout the whole process, very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to provide as much direction as they could at a time when most everything was out of everyone's control. I'm an alum of SNC, so I was already familiar with Bemis' quality of service, but my husband was also really impressed by how beautiful the space is and how nice everyone was. Again, I can't say enough good things - they handled an extremely tough circumstance with ease and were a great help to us. I highly recommend this venue to any future couple.

Highly recommend! From the first email contact, Carla and her staff were courteous, helpful and professional. Carla was always prompt in her email responses to any questions we had along the way. The Thursday morning meeting was so helpful - it was nice to go over all the details one final time before. It was so nice to be able to set-up on Friday - that definitely eased our stress! The food was delicious - our guests were raving about it - the hors d'oeuvres, the meal of pork tenderloin and chicken and the late-night pretzels! You made this whole process so enjoyable - everything went smoothly - it was a perfect day!

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better experience thanks to the staff at F. K. Bemis at St. Norbert College. The staff was always professional, timely, and kind when answering questions and helping us to figure out small details for our big day. Our families kept commenting on how amazing the evening was and how accommodating the staff was to us and our individual needs. In particular, Pam and Staci were amazing to work with! We will recommend F. K. Bemis to anyone who has an upcoming wedding!

Perfect truly does not even begin to describe my wedding and the wedding planning process with the St. Norbert College event staff.

I began planning my June 2020 wedding in February of 2019 and had a phenomenal experience right from the start. When COVID hit, they went above and beyond with communicating and keeping me up to date on policy changes. Ultimately, we decided to postpone our wedding until June 2021. Changing our date was positively seamless and painless - Pam was so on top of things.

Once January 2021 rolled around and we started planning again, Pam was incredibly responsive to emails and met with us several times to measure the room, see set ups, etc.... They accommodated our set up and menu requests without even batting an eye. Any question that was asked, the answer was "we can definitely do that!" or "not a problem" which are music to any bride's ears. We were able to spread out and have our dance in a separate space from the dinner which was perfect for our guests who didn't want to listen to loud music all night. We also were able to utilize the brick patio, bistro tables, and take photos in the gorgeous Shakespeare Garden just steps away from the dining room.

The week of, we got to meet with Pam and our day-of coordinators which was wonderful! We knew who to seek out on the day of if we needed anything. We were able to get into the spaces to decorate the day before which alleviated a lot of stress and anxiety. Pam had coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everyone knew where and when to set up which was another headache I didn't have to worry about!

On the day of, everything went off without a hitch - our last minute dietary needs were handled flawlessly, the setup was perfect, and the staff were so attentive to our guests!! At any given time, I could see at least 2 Bemis staff members who were there to assist me and my guests. The bartenders were courteous and friendly and did not over serve, which we really appreciated. All night long, people were asking "who catered this?!" and all I could do was smile and say "St. Norbert!" I heard nothing but compliments and positive comments about the facility and the staff. They helped us with set up, with take down, and everything in between.

I truly cannot thank Pam, Haley, Jenny, and Andrea enough. Every single detail was absolutely perfect and they went miles and miles above and beyond, exceeding any and all of my expectations.

We had the opportunity to work with Carla for most of our planning. She was so accommodating in helping our vision come to life, but also offered up her own insight when we had questions (and we had a few!). We were able to even come in the day before the wedding at set up the space, taking away a lot of stress the morning of the wedding! Every step of the planning was prompt and followed up, so there were no surprises. Carla was actually invited to the wedding, so Staci worked the event the day of. She was so helpful and easy to talk to. She really helped keep the flow of the evening going as we had some timing deadlines with the photographer! I had attended weddings at St. Norbert and always thought it was such a beautiful space, but after hosting my own wedding there I know it is all because of the wonderful staff they have working there!

I worked with Carla the entire time while planning and Staci for the day of. They made our special day such an easy day!

The food was nothing but simply delicious and the staff during our meal was great. We had the chance to use the campus for our pictures and go where ever we needed to go to capture the perfect picture! The entire staff go above and beyond to make sure everything you dream of for your wedding comes true! By far, my easiest part of my wedding planning because of how quick and understanding Carla was when ever I had a question! I would turn blue in the face recommending them to anyone who asks where to hold their reception! I can't stress it enough! 💕

Everything for our wedding day was perfect!!! We got married at Old St. Joe's, and our reception took place in Michels Ballroom. We could not have asked for anything more, and I'm still receiving compliments about how it was the best wedding food some people have ever had. Seriously, everyone LOVED it! My Dad was very impressed by the tenderloin carving station too.

Everything was exactly how I envisioned it. Being able to set up early on Friday, was a huge help and weight off our shoulders so we could just enjoy the rehearsal dinner. The staff was all awesome and very attentive all night, and huge thank you to Abigail for putting up with our CRAZY family and friends.

It was the perfect day, and I can't wait to get all of our pictures back to relive it. Thank you again to Carla, our event coordinator, for making the planning of everything so effortless. I could not have imagined having our wedding anywhere but St. Norbert.

Our experience with having both our wedding at Old St. Joe’s and reception at the Bemis Center was truly top notch outstanding!! Everything from the service, food and bartenders were amazing! We had the Sicilian Experience buffet which was absolutely delicious. The staff was very polite and was right on top of things to get dinner served and cleaned up so we could start our dancing festivities. I also want to say that the campus was such a beautiful setting for pictures. We had great weather so our guests where waiting for us on the patio with drinks. We will never forget this day. Pam, Carol (music planner for church) and all of the staff at St, Norbert’s definitely made this a memorable day! We highly recommend! Gregg & Gina Gentile

St. Norbert was amazing to work with. They made wedding planning and day of wedding so easy and it had such a nice flow. Everything was so easy and beautiful in the Michels Commons Ballroom. I am truly grateful for all that they did to help us have the most perfect day! Small details, such as votive candles, were included with the room and that really set the room and was something that we did not have to worry about! We couldn't have asked for a better day and reception! Would work with St. Norbert again and definitely share with others!

We had a wedding reception here. This venue is so beautiful! The food was truly amazing! And everyone was very easy to work with.

Everything was fantastic! Everyone we worked with was professional, courteous and attentive. We had many compliments on the food and venue! Would recommend these services to anyone for any occasion!

This venue is absolutely lovely for a small-medium sized wedding. We had a total of 140 people attend our wedding and there was plenty of space! The venue is elegant enough to not require excessive amounts of decoration! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everyone I spoke to raved about how wonderfully and beautifully everything was done. The campus was gorgeous for taking pictures and the large glass windows as a backdrop to the head table were perfect for the changing of the leaves into the fall season. Carla Wallander was extremely helpful and made our wedding day turn out better than we could have hoped for! I cannot say enough good things about choosing St.Norbert for our venue!

We chose Bemis over other local venues because we were initially so impressed with the enthusiastic professionalism of the staff, especially Carla Wallander, the beauty of the venue, and the overall perceived value that we anticipated. The first thing I should say is that our expectations were not only met, but exceeded in every way possible! Everything was completely top notch. The cocktail hour before the reception was held out on the balcony area just outside of the dining/banquet room. They set up a bar, and we had someone playing the grand piano that was in the corner. The appetizers were tasty yet not filling enough that they ruined our appetite for dinner. Good thing, too, because the dinner was exceptional (our daughter chose the Italian buffet)--literally everyone we talked to raved about it, especially the pound cake dessert, the ziti, and the sausages and peppers dish. The room was beautiful--the outer wall of windows looked out over a huge patio that some of our guests went to when they wanted some air or to take a break from the dancing.
The staff was attentive and courteous without being at all intrusive. They took care of everything so seamlessly that I quite frankly didn't even notice them most of the time. Jeremy oversaw the reception operation, and if there were any issues, no one told me about them. From my perspective, everything went as smooth as silk.
I was also quite happy with the cost. My wife and I recently attended a wedding of similar size to ours (about 130 guests) given by some very close friends at a country club. I know for a fact that they spent literally twice as much as we did, and my friend told me that he thought our party was as nice or nicer than theirs.
My bottom line here is that I recommend without any reservations at all the Bemis Center for anyone who is looking for a reception venue. They do a fantastic job at a reasonable cost--what else could anyone want?

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the Bemis Conference Center, and doing so was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. The staff at Bemis are truly amazing, especially Carla Wallander who helped us with all of our planning, and Jeremy who oversaw our reception. They were extremely friendly, flexible and accommodating, creative in their problem-solving, very resourceful and helpful (e.g., a few days before the wedding I realized I needed to make signs, and the staff at SNC said they could make the majority of the signs for us! That was music to my stressed ears!), quick to respond to emails and calls, and committed to achieving the vision we had for our event. The staff also have top-notch interpersonal skills, and were very diplomatic when multiple people were involved in making decisions (e.g., took a helpful but neutral stance when my husband or my mom and I had differing opinions about things). The staff eased all my fears and followed through on making our wedding spectacular. Also, you can't go wrong with the Bemis Conference Center as your venue! It is a GORGEOUS space as is, and when linens and flowers are added, is just stunning. We loved all the space we had, too, from the outdoor patio to the foyer...even to a classroom we converted into a board game room! The food was also delicious--I'd recommend the Sicilian Experience! The staff serving hors d'oeuvres and drinks at the bar were also very professional and friendly. I appreciated how Bemis has a relationship with the Kress Inn, too, which was so conveniently located, and also a pleasure to work with! Overall, we LOVED working with the SNC staff and have zero regrets about choosing Bemis for our reception venue. It is a truly beautiful space, and the venue and staff exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you, SNC! :)

My son and new daughter-in-law celebrated their wedding day at the Bemis Conference center on July 16th, 2016. I can not say enough good things about this venue. Carla and Jill did a fantastic job in helping us prepare for the day and then coordinate their wishes flawlessly the day of the event. All staff, chefs, and bar tenders did a great job. All the guests were very complementary of their experience here. Food was hot and well prepared. Very accommodating to our niece who provided all the flowers and decorating for the event. We saw one of the bar tenders after the event and he said it was one of the best weddings he served at. We certainly hope the experience was the same for the Bemis Center Staff. I will not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone I can. Thank you,

Planning our reception at the Bemis Center was almost effortless for us. Every staff member delivered a fantastic experience from the day we inquired about the event space to the moment we walked out the door at the end of our big night. They are truly there to help make anything you are looking for a reality. To top it off, they honestly seemed to enjoy planning with us which took so much stress out of the equation.

I was shocked at how affordable our reception was given all of the services they offered. Every guest we spoke to raved about the great food and service, and the kitchen took every measure to ensure our guests with dietary restrictions were completely taken care of.

The hall is absolutely beautiful, looks nothing like a typical reception hall, and we were able to get in for set up well before the event took place. In order for us to do that, the staff was fantastic and went out of their way to work with our schedule. Our meetings were also typically after business hours, and that was never an issue for a moment. To go a step further, not only is the inside of the hall beautiful and spacious, but the access to an outdoor patio gave our guests room to move around but they were never far away with the windows between the hall and patio.

We were very lucky to have been able to enjoy our reception, the amazing food, and a great party without a hitch or an issue that we know of even today. We are so thankful for the all of the Bemis Center staff who helped us to plan, arranged all the details exactly how we envisioned, and made our day wonderful when the time finally came!

I can not say enough about St. Norbert College and the Michel's Ballroom. Every step of the process was made easy and worry free. The staff make the bride the priority, they are willing to go above and beyond to make your day perfect.

Pam and Abigail were amazing to work with. A bit of my planning was done from overseas and Pam was great to communicate with. I had lots of questions that they patiently answered and provided guidance when I didn't know what I wanted. They are professionals who know what they're doing. Abigail helped with the smaller details and made sure everything was running smoothly at the event. I never stressed or worried about anything so I was able to simply enjoy the reception. Thank you!

I worked with Carla and Abigail and both women were fantastic! So timely in getting back to me about my questions, so informative about details of the event and venue, and so professional and friendly during our conversations! I always felt like they were invested in my experience and made me feel really comfortable in saying what I was hoping for/envisioning. I never felt like they didn't have time for me.

There is no other vendor that compares in professionalism, support, service, and outstanding experience. Many of our guests had allergy restrictions. I knew from experience that St. Norbert College could accommodate those needs and allow guests to have not only a meal they could eat, but one that was beyond delicious. Our guests raved about their meal and the service at this venue. The staff take the stress out of planning your day by calling each of your vendors for you the week before the wedding. They are organized, competent, and most importantly, focused on making this YOUR day. Quite simply, St. Norbert College does the best weddings around. And, you can't beat the views on campus! You will not be disappointed in selecting this venue for your special day because it will be just that: extra special.

The venue looked beautiful and having your staff set it all up was such a plus, the day of the wedding we didn't have to think about set up at all, that was a huge weight off of our shoulders. The food and service was vey good too, so many compliments from guests about how good their meal was and that the servers were attentive and very courteous. I have on more than one occasion said what a gem the kids found when they decided to have their wedding reception at SNC. The only negative that I have to provide is that one of the faucets was not working in the ladies rest room and with only two sinks that was a bit of an issue at times especially right after dinner when usage was the highest. I know that things happen and you can't always get problems fixed right away. I have and will continue to share the positive experience we had. Thanks again for the great customer service and for being a part of such a special day for all of us.
