Water's Edge at Tart Farms is a charming barn wedding venue located in Benson, North Carolina. This picturesque property encompasses 23 acres of breathtaking farmland and a variety of wedding event spaces. Here, you can feel beautifully secluded for your special day while still being conveniently close to local amenities.

Facilities and Capacity

Water's Edge at Tart Farms offers an array of indoor and outdoor event spaces suitable for a range of wedding occasions. The expansive grounds of this property offer ample choice for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The waterfront provides a picturesque background as you exchange heartfelt vows, with your guests seated in the layout of your choice. Two spacious event barns are available to choose from for your main reception event. Both feature wooden accents throughout and large windows to allow natural light to flood your celebration. The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. Each event barn offers get-ready rooms so that you and your wedding party can conveniently prepare and make a grand entrance. There is also a dedicated food preparation area inside each barn for a stress-free catering experience. The rustic aesthetic of this location allows for beautiful wedding photography to be captured both inside the barns and on the surrounding grounds.

breathtaking!!

I actually went to look at numerous venues & when I found this one, it didn’t even take but a minute to know this was the one for my big day! The communication was wonderful in setting up a meeting to view the venue and from that point forward to the big day, I truly can’t say enough good things! I love that the venue has little things you’re allowed to use as the bride to help in decorating (like the grass wall and the cross under the arbor). My dream wedding came to life at this breathtaking venue! The people & venue are out of this world!!

Waters Edge was the best Venue we could have chosen

Waters Edge at Tarts Farm was absolutely the best to work with. Family owned and the nicest people you could possibly deal with. The venue is beautiful inside and out. Any questions we had throughout our journey was always responded too in a very quick response. Having the venue for the weekend was a huge stress relief outcome!. I would highly recommend this Venue to any upcoming bride and grooms. Our coordinator Shelby was the best!! Why hire an outside coordinator when you have her that is very familiar with her own place. Thank you Waters Edge for making Carlea and Travis wedding a hit! Everyone that attended said what a beautiful place

Wonderful!!!

We had the BEST experience working with everyone at Water’s Edge! The family the owns the venue is super nice, helpful, and responsive. Shelby was a great coordinator and was always there the answer any questions I had. Beautiful venue!!! Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Best venue ever

The instant I saw photos of Water's Edge, I instantly melted and fell in love and KNEW I had to get married here. It is by far the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. They have 2 separate barns both with lofts to get ready in, kitchens, and bathrooms so you can choose between one barn or both barns for your special day. They made my dreams come true when they let my sweet pup be in our wedding as the flower girl. Every single member of the Tart family was so sweet and helpful with anything that I needed, from questions to moving things around. They made sure it was setup exactly how I dreamed. They also have a variety of things that you can use as well to decorate the space! They have a beautiful field and pond where you can have your ceremony as well. 15/10 would recommend Water's Edge for your venue!

Southern hospitality!!

I own Four 26 Events and planned photoshoot at Water's Edge at Tart Farms. The Tart family (Steven, Erica, Ronnie, Marla and Shelby) were all very accommodating to not only me, but all the other vendors on site.

Steven went well above his "call of duty" by helping one of the vendors change a flat tire! Now if that's not amazing service... I don't know what is!!

If you are looking for a venue that feels like home, Water's Edge at Tart Farms is a great option to consider!

Excellent in every way!

From first contact (email) with Water's Edge they have been so accommodating, professional, kind, and more than pleasant to work with. They immediately called and got us in for a private tour. Not only is this venue stunning but it feels like home and is a comfortable environment that will make you smile from the moment you walk up. You will be so satisfied with the owners and staff of Water’s Edge along with the beautiful rustic elegance of the venue, this venue is perfect!

Water's Edge Review

Water's Edge was very accommodating to meet all of our needs. The family owned business is a great investment to have your wedding at! Since the venue has two separate barns, we were able to have a ceremony in one building and reception in the other. This made the organization and flow of the wedding much easier because you did not have to transition the ceremony place into a reception hall. The view of the water and land made for beautiful wedding photos! Our guests bragged about how nice the venue was and the wedding that we had!
