Rabbi Susan Shankman officiated our wedding and we are so happy we chose her. She had also done my brothers Bar Mitzvah and we knew she would be great. We loved the premarital counseling they offer at Washington Hebrew. During the process my husband and I learned a lot about eachother and felt it help prepare us for our future. During the process Rabbi Shankman got to know both of us on a very personal level. And therefore our ceremony was intimate and represented us perfectly. Numerous people raved about how much they loved our ceremony. If you want a ceremony that is meaningful and if you like a Rabbi that will work with you and get to know you. Then WHC and Rabbi Shankman are for you. Just remember to have that awesome ceremony you need to put your time in with the Rabbi as well!

Rabbi Noah Fabricant with the Washington Hebrew Congregation ("WHC") officiated our wedding ceremony. My fiance and I have known Rabbi Fabricant for two years through WHC and he really put a personal touch on our ceremony. He recognized that our families have varying experience with Jewish ceremonies and kept this in mind throughout the entire ceremony

Washington Hebrew Congregation is a beautiful and perfect venue to have your wedding and reception. We had our hindu wedding ceremony in the small chapel that seats about 280 people. It is so beautiful inside that all we did for decoration was set up one small mandap with 2 bunches of flowers on it. The reception hall is amazing. It has huge chandeliers, great lighting w/ changing amber, blue and white ceiling domes. Its got everything you need such as a great sound system & 2 projections screens. The staff there is also very professional and helpful in not only helping you to find vendors for your event but also working with all the vendors the day off to make sure everything runs smoothly and on time. We highly recommend this venue!
