Bringing passion for music to every affair, Mr. Genna offers and extended repertoire, including compositions from Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Flamenco, Tango, Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova, Ethnic, Folk, Christmas/Holiday and Popular music. Vito Genna is a native of Long Island, NY and has been playing guitar since the age of twelve. Vito studied classical guitar under the direction of William Zito and flamenco guitar under the direction of Dennis Koster. Vito earned his degree in Music from Hofstra University and has performed at many locations and events in New York City and on Long Island.

Vito played the cocktail hour at our wedding.

Communication: He promptly responded to every email communication
Payment: He offered easy payment options, including cash and check.
Performance: My wife and I wanted classical flamenco guitar during our cocktail hour. We were very happy with his performance, and our guests were genuinely impressed.

My outdoor ceremony in the gardens was made complete by the soft touch of Vito's music! As my guests arrived they were greeted by the sweet sound of a spanish guitar! Vito also played for my guests as they enjoyed their cocktail hour on the rooftop of Vista NYC- his presence gave the affair just the right touch!

Let me start off by saying that Vito allowed my vision of a classical Spanish guitar for our wedding ceremony come to life. Vito is extremely courteous, prompt ( if not early) and professional. He dedicated time to introduce me to songs and create a personal selection of guitar selections for the ceremony. I walked down the aisle to Romanza and it was beautiful. Vito also provided classical guitar for the cocktail hour and His music was clearly enjoyed by our guests. Vito has a very reasonable price scale for the talent he provides. I highly recommend Vito and have already passed on his name to several guests at our wedding. Don't think twice, book Vito for your event without question! C and E (wedding 10/19/12)

Vito provided music for my outdoor wedding ceremony at the Weat Sayville Country Club. With the help of his suggestions and song selections we chose music that was perfect for the event and set the right mood. It was much more personal and romantic to walk down the aisle to the music of a classical guitarist as opposed to a recorded track. Vito was very professional, easy to work with (especially since I was planning my wedding from across the country), and provided a quality service on the day of my event. It really made my ceremony memorable.

Brilliant guitarist & such a sweet & professional gentleman. He learned 3 brand new songs that I requested for my ceremony & furthermore he stylized them amazingly!!! He was the perfect special touch for my wedding. He even gave me & my bridal party a private hearing before the ceremony where i was bawling because his playing was so beautiful. I always wanted a Spanish guitarist to play at my wedding & I was beyond happy with this man I selectively chose through the internet. Also, I was told it was the 1st time Flowerfield had a Spanish guitarist at their venue by the staff. They even came up to me to compliment the beautiful idea & the amazing guitarist I found:) Thank you Vito!! You're the best!!! Can't wait to hear you play again!!!

Our wedding was at Raphael Vineyard. A classical guitar seemed perfect for the venue. I booked Vito and we discussed various arrangements for our ceremony. I was able to make my ceremony music my own. Anything I requested, he could play. As we lined up for the processional, I could hear the guitar playing. It made me cry. It was so beautiful. So simple and so moving. I wish I had hired him for the cocktail hour. Big mistake on my part. I highly recommend Vito Genna.

He is highly talented, highly professional, always on time, one of the nicest people you will meet. His flaminco and classic guitar was perfect for our family's weddings. Everyone complemented on how great a musician he was and how friendly he was. He played for our and our niece's ceremony and cocktail hours.
