April was such a pleasure to work with and her cake and desserts are DELICIOUS! She provided free samples so generously so that we could get an idea of what we wanted. She was very helpful in deciding what desserts to go with as well and everything was so amazing that we got more stuff from her for my nephew’s first birthday. I couldn’t recommend April more!

We ordered cupcakes from Vanilla instead of a traditional wedding cake. They were very professional. They set up without a hitch and made the cupcake display look beautiful. It was delicious and easy on the budget!

If you want a piece of heaven at your wedding, you need Vanilla Pastry Studio! We chose 6 different types of cupcakes for our guest to choose from. So many people came up to me to find out the name of the bakery. Their cupcakes and so moist and the icing is so light and flavorful! They even included one single cupcake in a little box that said 'for the bride' since my favorite flavor didn't make the final list! I highly recommend Vanilla Pastry Studio for your big day!

I am a bit of a cake snob, and we tried quite a few wedding cakes before settling on Vanilla Pastry studio. The cake is absolutely amazing, so moist and flavorful, and the frosting is so sweet and so light!

Our wedding cake was gorgeous and delicious! It was a huge hit. They let me order 3 different flavors when they normally recommend only 2 (for ease of servers when they're placing the slices at tables). I love this bakery and highly recommend them.

I actually didn't even think of going anywhere else for cake :) We had some very specific flavor request since my (new!) husband is Austrian and we wanted to incorporate almond and marzipan into the cake. We also wanted something a little more sleek and urban looking to match with the vibe of the Renaissance. Vanilla delivered and delivered with NO HASSLE. We went to a tasting (delicious), we talked through our needs, we paid for our cake (which they will let you do in installments over time before your wedding, which is nice if you want to reduce how much money needs to go out the week of the wedding) and the cake looked and tasted amazing.

The cake tasting and planning was quick and easy. The cake chosen was beautiful, absolutely delicious, and the guests loved it and made comments of being the best! Adding a cake topper by her was easy, and the cake was exactly as promised. This is my go-to bakery for events.

Cupcakes display was gorgeous and exactly how we expected. The cupcakes were delicious as well. We had a small gluten free cake and some cupcakes and they were able to set up the display including these items that were from another bakery.

We also had some lollies in our order that were very delicious. I'd definitely recommend!

We always dreamed of having cupcakes for our wedding "cake." And wow, Vanilla Pastry Studio made the dream cake in my head a reality. First of all, if you didn't know, Vanilla Pastry Studio has been voted the "Best Cupcakes in Pittsburgh" award, and they are! Our favorite is the Vanilla Caramel flavor, so we knew we wanted that one to be front and center, and well, top (as our anniversary cake). We met with the owner April and tested many many flavors to find the other 3 flavors that would round out our assortment. We settled on Chocolate Fudge, Cookies and Cream, and Mango Passionfruit. I picked out which tower I wanted and they brought the cupcakes to the Children's Musueum of Pgh the day of the reception and set them up on the tower. The day before I dropped off our cake topper and little signs for the flavors (they didn't provide this, but who cares, I wanted something very specific so I made it myself :) They arranged it all perfectly. And I received SO MANY compliments on the cupcakes! I think a lot of guests had never been to a wedding with cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. Let me tell you, what a great idea. Four flavors to choose from, immense quality, and we saved a lot of $$$ (traditional wedding cakes are so expensive!) This is my favorite bakery in Pittsburgh, they did a great job, and I highly recommend them :)

Cake was delicious and beautiful. The tasting was really fun, we loved everything we tried but the almond batter really blew us away. I wanted a simple Swiss dot pattern and Vanilla did it perfectly. Vanilla came recommended when we couldn't get our first choice in bakery, and I have absolutely no regrets. It was a perfect wedding cake!
