Valerie was incredible to work with, from planning and understanding what we wanted, to filming, editing, and creating the perfect video! She sent her raw footage within days of the wedding and edited it down to the most beautiful short. She captured so much that you can't see from even the most beautiful photograph and made the process incredibly easy - I can't imagine our day without her!

We worked directly with Valerie Barnes of Valerie Barnes Film throughout our wedding planning process, and she was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Valerie spent time with us over the phone, answered our questions promptly (whether via phone or email), followed-up when needed, was always ahead of schedule, and most importantly, produced the most lovely wedding short-film we could ask for! We have since watched our film countless times and cry (tears of joy of course) almost each time. Our parents may even show the film to more people than we do! Valerie captured so many precious moments of our special day -- we cannot thank her enough. Before receiving our short film, we were given all of the film to review and it felt like we were reliving the entire day. Valerie then created the short-film with music selected or approved by us, and she was very accommodating with changes we had requested. We are extremely pleased with the end product and so happy we chose Valerie!

Valerie and John perfectly captured every heartfelt sentiment from our wedding day. Everytime we watch our video (which is at least once a day) we are immediatly transported back to that unforgettable day, laughing, crying, and smiling ear to ear!

In a league of her own against the world of cheesy wedding films, Valerie does an incredible job of capturing exactly who you are in your video. She takes the time to get to know you and this is perfectly reflected in her end product. Perhaps most impressive is our guests had no idea she was filming, as such she was able to capture real moments beautifully. Top notch, highly recommend!

I loved working with Valerie and would highly recommend her for any event. She and her team were inconspicuous at our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and did an amazing job with the final product. She sent us all the raw footage she had prior to editing so that we could have everything on file, and then did a beautiful job editing, doing a great job of keeping our musical tastes in mind. Valerie is an artist and looks lightyears beyond the cookie cutter wedding video. Her priority is to create a unique and personalized memory of the wedding couple. Valerie was such a pleasure to be with on my wedding day, and you really do spend all day together, which is not something a lot of brides think about beforehand. We are so happy to have had Valerie film our wedding! She and her assistant beautifully captured all the big moments, and she artistically brought out the emotion of the day in the final product. She has a unique style and is much more a filmmaker than a standard videographer. Valerie is also a consummate professional. We are the slowest couple on earth and took forever to get back to her with our music selections, scene edits, etc. However, she was extremely patient with us and carried a positive demeanor throughout the whole process.
