This is how much I wanted Valerie to photograph my wedding; I contacted her months before I’d even been proposed to! That should show how wonderful she is! I fell in love with her photos, how soft and lovely the light is in all of them. I knew I just had to have her be my photographer, so I contacted her as soon as I saw her profile on the knot.

We got to know her when she took our engagement photos, which turned out just beautiful. I got so many compliments on them! Valerie worked hard during the shoot to make us feel comfortable (especially my husband, who isn’t the most natural in from of the camera). She was all that and more again on our wedding day, helping to scout out good locations for photos since we had to change plans because of rain. She was supportive, cheerful, and worked on a fairly tight timeline for my big day. We had a very themed Harry Potter wedding and she helped focus on lots of details, and fun shots with the theme in mind.

I’ve only gotten back the sneak peaks but I’m already so in love with them. I can’t wait until l get to see the rest! This was the number one thing I wanted to go well, because the photos are what preserve your memories of that special day. From the moment I inquired with Valerie, she was professional and kind. We had a 45 minute conversation while I was at work and she immediately won me over with her passion for our wedding and the vision we had. Valerie explained things in detail and was patient and never made me feel rushed about booking our photography contract.

I was able to contact Valerie to get advice and details throughout the planning process. Never once did she make me or my now husband feel like a burden for asking questions or wanting to meet to finalize the schedule. She was there to help guide us, ensuring that we achieved the vision we wanted.

The day of, she came in early to meet everyone and check out the space while immediately putting everyone at ease with her presence. We had decided to have a surprise wedding and the time we spent waiting for guests to arrive for the big reveal was nerve-wracking. Through it all Valerie was calm and patient. When the big reveal came she caught some of the most important photos of the whole day in the most beautiful way.

Without being intrusive, she caught every moment from our ceremony, and afterward she handled wedding party/family pictures with such expertise it was painless and quick. Valerie came out with us to our after party, wandered around the Fort Worth water gardens, and captured our night to perfection.

IF YOU ARE ON THE FENCE ON HIRING VALERIE DO NOT HESITATE AND BOOK HER!!!!! I feel so lucky that I stumbled across her profile here. I didn't know where to start with hiring a wedding photographer, and after meeting up with her I was in love! We did an engagement session as well and W-O-W!!! All of her work is so beautiful and she puts more than 100% of her soul into her work. After the wedding we talked with all of our family and friends and EVERYONE just talked about how much they loved her! Valerie was always her genuine self and I think that is why she stands out in the best way, rather than your typical wedding photographer who doesn't care about the client or even their work half the time.
