When I first started dealing with the Uniontown Country Club, things went well but the closer we got to the wedding date, the worse the service got. I have spoke with several people who had their reception at the Country Club in the past and they said their experiences were just awesome. I wish I could say the same. Our wedding coordinator was just COMPLETELY unorganized. It seems like I had to repeatedly verify my plans (food, table set up, etc.) nearly every time I received an email from her. Also, usually on the day of your wedding, it's nice to not have to worry about anything too drastic...well I had to worry about decorating the Country Club for my reception. In most cases, everyone goes on Friday evening to decorate the reception hall, well in my case the wedding coordinator not only booked TWO events the Friday before my wedding; the second event ran until 11PM. When I asked when I could get in the reception hall to decorate, I was told 8AM Saturday morning (the day of my wedding)!!! Then, once I was there, I had an archway delivered from another outside vendor. While I was running around trying to decorate, one of the Country Club employees tried to tell me that the archway could not be used on their premises because it had a base on it and was a liability. When I told them to just put a mat over it, they still gave me attitude. Then, during my reception, while I was singing to my husband, my aunt witnessed our wedding coordinator hanging over the bar saying she needed a shot. Now if that doesn't demonstrate professionalism, I don't know what does! Maybe she just didn't like my singing:) One thing good I will say is, the food was very good. Other than that, I would NOT recommend anyone to use the Uniontown Country Club as their choice for ANY event.
