We are based in Los Angeles and are European and so have a base in L.A, and Europe - we operate globally having shot weddings in The Ukraine, Portugal and Bali so far!

OUR WORK STANDARD

Just so you know we view ourselves as competitive with our price. Every booking consists of us both shooting your special event - and we both have extensive work as reportage and portrait photographers for the Governments of Britain and the country of Monteserrat. In addition, we are expert color gradists/photo retouchers - usually we charge $25 per photo for our portrait clients - but with our packages, a very generous amount of retouched photos are included - so please don't try and bargain our price down any more that we offer you since you will get service and art above and beyond the average photographic booking :)

BACKGROUND ON US

We feel that you should know a little bit about us before considering our work for bookings:

Originally, we were film and cinematic video students spending ours developing an artistic eye for capturing the shot and then color-grading cinematically and naturally. We picked up a stills camera and began shooting actor and artist friends in Los Angeles and three months later we had our first booking - an International Assignment for a Behind-The-Scenes Documentary on the British Country called Montserrat. Whilst shooting videos and photos on this Volcanic Island, we were approached to do a photojournalism campaign for the British and Montserrat Governments - chronicling the events leading up to a historic election. We shadowed an underdog political party called the PDM and shot all campaign material for them. We shot all events hosted by the Honourable British Governor to Her Majesty the Queen at The British Embassy and took portraits and Behind the Scenes candid shots of the politicians on the campaign trail around this beautiful Volcanic Island.

We shot five weddings in 2016, bringing our wedding bookings to shooting the lovely couples in Bali Indonesia, Portugal, Kiev, London and Los Angeles. Here is a sample:

We truly love shooting reportage of romance, love, family enjoyment - and of course, capturing those cute kids! We try to capture as a duo every magical moment. We do of course also use a third photographer/videographer where budget allows since one of the many regrets we hear in our consultations is how "we wished their moments had been captured but we were on a budget" or "we wish we had more than one person covering our special day"; this is why we insist on always coming as a duo of reportage, story-telling, government standard photojournalist photographers!

We have shot thousands of hours of events and weddings and we are diligent, candid, discreet-as-possible, friendly photographers. Should you book us, that's what you can expect and also with any additional team members, should they be booked as part of the package.

We also use very carefully chosen cinematic color-grading ( and consult with the lovely couples ) so everyone is happy; we get very excited when we are editing photos in post-production so as a gift you always get around 40 FREE color-graded and retouched photos that are our personal gifts FOR YOU. Finally, when we discuss the package to be purchased, we always list a certain number of additional photos that the bride and groom will get which are also color graded and retouched INCLUDING those which we GIFT you.

Typical Booking:

Typically, you can expect around 2-300 color-graded and retouched shots in total, some of which will be in Black and White or a sepia tone variation. For a standard day of coverage, you can also expect around 2-4000 images in total shot maximum resolution - and we usually choose the best of these which we DIGITALLY transfer. With a fine-toothed comb, that means for a standard day of coverage with us TWO photo-journalists photographers you should expect around 300 color graded retouched photos, several hundred BEST shots, and probably 2000 images that you get to keep and from which YOU MAKE YOUR SELECTIONS. :)

These will either be delivered on memory stick or uploaded digitally and the final delivery time of chosen images is between 1 and 4 weeks from the Special Day - unless specifically requested in the consultation phase!
