Holy Crap forgive me for taking three years to post this. It was the most marvelous day of our lives. The Trilogy crew on board was terrific —- heaven sent —- that day, and the help with the planning done by the staff in the office was tremendous. They handled everything...the leis, the cupcakes, the officiant (Uncle Mike Lopez) and the photographs. The crew made us feel like we were the most special people on the planet, and inviting all the other guests on that Discover Lanai trip that day was a hoot. No family or friends, just the crew, Uncle Mike, Turtle our captain, and the folks from the trip that were strangers to us until that day. I thought popping a wedding on the other guests who were just expecting a marvelous day on Lanai would get a kick out of sharing the ceremony if they wanted, and it was touching to be supported with such Aloha....one of the ‘guests’ was an Auntie resident of the island who came to all the weddings on the island, just to, well, who knows why but thank wonderful goodness she was there. In a big hat! I don’t think anyone believes me that Trilogy took care of everything! I was single my whole life, and getting married at 61 was a hoot. My husband never looked more angelic or adorable. The whole experience was magical, and the Trilogy package has got to be the best-kept wedding day secret ever! But I hope it’s not a secret really, and all that care to can have the best day of their lives just as we did three years ago.

Trilogy made our wedding one of the best days of our entire lives, and curated an experience that each one of guests will always remember.

It wasn’t just a wedding on a boat- Trilogy’s magic made it an insanely impactful moment in time that could never be replicated; one we & all of our guests felt incredibly grateful for, deep in our souls. This experience was profoundly special, and we will always feel the utmost love and respect for Trilogy for making it happen. They truly care- like no one we’ve ever worked with; and it showed.

The majority of our 44 guests came up to us individually (that day and since then) in amazement, trying to find words to describe their gratitude - thanking us for getting married ‘this way’. Almost all of them have expressed similar sentiments - the experience they had that day was one of the best days of their lives.

Even the guests who were worried about seasickness had no issue (due to the care and thoughtfulness of the captain and crew) and were so thankful we had encouraged them to get on a boat for the first time in decades! They were even begging for an additional hour to keep sailing around.

Our main goal was to show our guests an amazing time while creating a vibe and environment that allowed us to fully embrace the meaning of marriage, the spirit of Hawaii, and the power of the ocean’s beauty with our favorite humans, and WOW - did this check that box and even more.

[Planning and Coordination]

From day one of booking, Linda and Jenny were on top of EVERYTHING- constantly going above and beyond in every aspect of the planning process, being super flexible and accommodating with our unique requests. They helped curate this group of amazingly talented, Impressively professional Maui vendors that not only fit our style, but displayed a level of unique artistry and generosity that added to the already amazing experience. Many times Jenny and Linda even provided additional recommendations for lodging, transportation, and just Maui tips in general. They truly are the best people, and we left feeling like they were friends or even family, they have a talent for making every aspect of the wedding planning and day of coordination fun, natural, and stress free.

[The Day and the Sail]

We elected to do the 4 hour ceremony, dinner, and reception at sea. Trilogy helped flawlessly weave in and maintain many of the important wedding traditions and rituals, while also treating our guests with a unique experience they would always remember and cherish. This was the perfect way to celebrate the people who were there to support us!

The day of the wedding was rainy on shore, and the Captain, Raquel, made sure to always find the sunniest spots (as we were told they would). We never once felt it raining on us. Added bonus: Due to the weather everywhere else besides our sunny area, we were constantly surrounded by multiple rainbows.

As if we couldn’t get any luckier, a school of dolphins even swam next to the boat multiple times! Two whales were breaching in the background while we were saying our vows with the amazing Uncle Mike Lopez (officiant). At the end of the sail, one whale even waved goodbye, breaching with its entire fin about 20 Yards off the side of the boat set to the beautiful sunset backdrop. That all may have been ‘lucky’, but could have also been all the captain, Raquel, and crew who were constantly making sure to get us in the most magical spots on the ocean at all the right times.

After the ceremony, the crew then passed around deliciously refreshing appetizers and served cocktails as we enjoyed the views and listened to some perfectly fitting songs curated by DJ Liam Grist.

We all then enjoyed our impressively tastes dinners while enjoying the view, then some friends and family gave toasts while more whales danced in the not-so-distant background. After the crew then passed dessert, Lance and I leapt off the front of the boat (fully clothed) into the water to celebrate ‘Leap Day‘, one of those unique requests the Trilogy Wedding team, captain, and crew happily accommodated for us.

This was followed by about an hour of the most spectacular sunset views and dancing -almost always surrounded by rainbows- all set to the most perfectly curated songs from the DJ. The setting was truly magical and absolutely breathtaking.

The food was amazing, delicious options, and always a beautiful presentation - and the amount was more than we could have ever imagined! The drinks were absolutely delicious and the service and crew were some of the nicest people we have ever met in our entire lives!

The Trilogy Wedding team, captain, and the crew made all of these things happen flawlessly, and almost ALL of this was completely customizable and flexible. Our guests could even tell that everyone involved worked SO hard and cared so much. We are deeply thankful for the countless times that everyone graciously met our requests and matched our style, while always showing that aloha and welcoming spirit. They took our vision and perfected it, then surpassed our expectations with their attention to detail and some of the most thoughtful touches imaginable.

If you are at all considering Trilogy for your wedding, or any celebration at all, don’t even think twice about it - this was the best decision we’ve ever made.

Oh my... where do I begin? This company made my wedding planning one of the easiest, least stressful and absolutely beautiful and amazing experience of my life. Working with this team was so fulfilling and every time I needed reassurance or clarification on anything they quickly responded and even called me a few times unexpectedly just to check in. I even made last minute changes, but they kindly obliged and were responsive and warm. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect and stress free. I had my make up done by a recommended vender Meili Autumn beauty and they made me look like a princess! Everything and I mean everything was perfect! From the moment we stepped on the boat we were showered in service and warm, welcome vibes. Linda and Jenny did a wonderful job of planning every detail. Linda kept me on schedule, made sure everyone had a drink in their hand at all times and genuinely cared about my experience. I am in awe of this company and their amazing ability to create the perfect wedding. Our officiant, also recommended by Trilogy was the most welcoming and warm man. He brought the Maui vibe and made our ceremony one of a kind. Everyone loved him and still mentions him when we talk about our magical event. I’m am so thankful to have stumbled across this vender because the truly made my wedding day the best wedding I have ever been to. It was flawless, well planned and tranquil. I felt like the crew was part of my family. Everyone was amazing and I had absolutely no stress the entire time. Absolutely perfect.

We reserved two private catamarans with Trilogy to celebrate with our wedding guests post wedding. We had the best experience!! The team was so helpful coordinating in advance of our trip and then once we arrived were so professional and friendly! The food, exceeded our expectation and was delicious! The sail itself was beautiful, with whale sightings and a fantastic sunset.

Planning a destination wedding for the first time was hard and intimidating for us, but Taryn and Jenny made it so much easier and so much more enjoyable. The whole team was professional, responsive, and very very friendly throughout the entire wedding planning process AND the wedding itself. From coordinating to decorations they helped us took care of everything. They made our wedding experience so much better than we can ever expect. We were very lucky to have came across Trilogy as our vendor team.

My husband and I are beyond happy that we chose a private charter for our wedding reception on Trilogy’s newest catamaran, T3. The entire experience was absolutely amazing and MADE our whole day. I am still daydreaming about it. From the very beginning of our planning, we knew we wanted to incorporate sail and share the Maui magic with all of our guests. After our first talk with Taryn, the special events coordinator, we knew Trilogy was the perfect company to go through. She was so easy to talk to, listened to what we wanted, responded to every email promptly, was super friendly, and was simply a pleasure to plan with. You can tell she truly cares about each couple and really enjoys her job. The boat itself was STUNNING and it was obvious that the crew wanted to make sure we had a memorable and enjoyable experience while onboard. Weddings can be stressful, and I have a hard time letting others do things for me, but when we showed up for the reception everything was decorated and the food was displayed above and beyond what I expected which literally washed my stress away instantly. The whole sail was so much fun! All of our guests are still raving about what a great time it was. I would recommend a wedding sail over and over again. It is a very unique and beautiful way to celebrate. Ps. If you are blessed with rain on your wedding day, they can sail you out of it and into the Maui sunshine, leaving a picture perfect rainbow in the background. I know, it happened. Much mahalos for the hospitality and for so many unforgettable memories that will sail in our hearts for a lifetime!

My husband and I traveled from Seattle, WA to get married in Maui. We purchased a three hour sunset sail for 30 people. I was incredibly impressed by the entire experience we had working with Trilogy. The whole team at Trilogy is incredibly fun, welcoming, and professional. I was very anxious to be planning a wedding in a location that I had never been to. Jenny and Taryn worked to ensure that the entire wedding process went smoothly from start to finish. We were able to have a quick rehearsal the day prior to our sail. Our entire wedding went by very fast and Taryn worked to keep everything on schedule. All of our guests were impressed with the service of the staff. The team worked to ensure everyone had drinks in their hands and that everyone was comfortable. During the ceremony the captain made sure to have the boat facing the most beautiful part of the island. The only thing I would have done differently was to add more hours to our sail, the evening passed by way too quickly. I even gave the team decorations for the boat and they gladly took them over night and set them up exactly as I had envisioned. Words cannot express what a great experience it was to work with Trilogy. We look forward to returning and certainly working with Trilogy in the future!

Thank you, TRILOGY for giving us such a unique, exclusive, intimate and luxurious wedding, it was a DREAM! The day started with our guests setting sail from Lahaina Harbor on board Trilogy and heading to the private island of Lanai. On the way over, the crew lavished everyone with tasty appetizers and drinks, all while providing bits of information on the history and ecology of the islands. First class all the way!

Our ceremony took place at Trilogy’s open Hale (pavilion) overlooking the beautiful Manele Bay! Mike Lopez was our officiant and did a wonderful job. Prior to the wedding, he helped us determine what kind of service we wanted and what was important to us. The Hawaiian ceremony we chose was a perfect reflection of our personalities.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed signature Tahitian Vanilla bean smash cocktails and an assortment of delicious pupus! This gave us time to sneak away to the iconic Pu’upehe (Sweetheart) Rock, where the red dirt, oily water, and myriad of colors made for the most amazing sunset photos of my life.

When we arrived back at the Hale, we sat down to enjoy our hand-selected “local” style menu beautifully prepared by Maui Flavors. I especially liked the ahi poke cups and the sweet potato haupia pie dessert…yum! After dancing and enjoy the rest of the evening everyone loaded onto the boat and headed back to Maui under a starry night sky, while we snuck off to the Four Seasons Lanai. Simply amazing.

Our whole experience was amazing and I have Jenny to thank for making it better than I could have imagined! From start to finish she took care of everything and made my vision real. For example, a custom designed seven strand lei, beautiful decor and flowers, and a minute by minute timeline. Jenny was extremely organized and detailed throughout the entire process, and I did not have to worry at all with such a great team taking care of everything!

We recently had our wedding ceremony on one of the trilogy catamarans and it was an amazing experience! Working with Jenny Coon and Taryn Johnson was a pleasure. Planning a wedding from out of town was made so easy with their help and they connected us with great people to be our officiant and musician who were both amazing as well! The crew on board we're great as well and we had the best time, I wish we could do it all again. It was seriously the best wedding I have ever been to!

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Trilogy! We had the wedding of our dreams! Jenny and Taryn, our wedding coordinators, made planning a wedding from the other side of the country easy and worry free. Everything I described over the phone or via email came to life as we wanted on our wedding day. They took care of everything. The musician, Bu, our ceremony officiant, Uncle Mike, and the entire Trilogy crew were absolutely phenomenal. Our wedding guests were still raving about the wedding well after we got home from Hawaii. We can’t thank you enough for everything! If you are considering a wedding in Hawaii, please consider Trilogy as an option. You will NOT be disappointed!
