The Très Doux Quartet formed in December 2015 in Washington, D.C. The namesake of the group derives from the first piece that the quartet rehearsed together, Maurice Ravel’s String Quartet in F major, which includes expressive marking, “très doux,” translating to “very sweet” in French. The Très Doux Quartet rehearses and is thrilled to begin performing more at concerts, weddings, and other events in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
