If you’ve imagined an outdoor fairytale wedding ceremony in western Massachusetts, the Marriott Springfield Downtown will certainly bring this vision to life on our renovated ROOFTOP OASIS, which includes modern gazebos, fire pits, and more! Our gorgeous, renovated ballrooms can accomodate groups of all sizes - from elopements with a few guests to over the top events for 10 - 350+ of your closest friends and family. On top of a fabulous wedding experience, your guests won't have to leave the property to enjoy the rest of the night because they would be able to stay overnight in one of our beautifully renovated hotel rooms within your designated Wedding Room Block, which saves YOU in limo/shuttle travel costs! HUGE perk!
Facilities And Capacity
Beginning outside on our Rooftop Oasis, you’ll walk down a gorgeous stone pathway towards our beautiful city views set between modern gazebos where your guests will be awaiting your arrival to your ceremony that is nestled in a private area of the courtyard. After exchanging your vows, your guests will follow the stone pathway to one of two indoor/outdoor cocktail areas (depending on which ballroom your reception is taking place). The 6,000 square foot Grand Ballroom is perfect for those larger gatherings of up to 350 guests and includes a top-of-the-line outdoor deck and indoor pre-function area for your Cocktail Hour with a retracting glass wall that can truly allow your guests to mingle both inside and outside. The 2,500+ square foot Springfield Ballroom is ideal for those events of up to 125 guests - giving you the elegance of a full ballroom but with a smaller guest count! No detail is spared with the beautiful covered outdoor deck area for your Cocktail Hour. We cannot wait to show you our beautiful property!
