Todd Elliot Entertainment | Wedding & Event Planning is a Full Service Company and have been working in the Industry since 1990. We ended up creating our own medley for the first dance and with neither of us being dancers we didn't want complicated choreography. Todd showed us some moves we could use during each segment and helped us put it together. After the first hour we had a fairly good idea of what to do during our first dance and felt confident it would be meaningful to us and not incredibly boring to watch. We practiced on our own for a couple days and came back for our second hour where he helped us get into great shape. We told none of our guests and it was a big surprise hit. Thank you, Todd, for everything!
Unprofessional, unprepared, and embarrassing
Many of my friends commented on how lackluster, un-engaging, and confusing his behavior was. Rather than creating a lively and interactive ambiance, he simply read directly from a boxed kit's script without making eye contact or injecting any personalization or humor into the event.
He certainly didn't do any extras like help with set-up and break-down.
Despite charging a rate of $2,000, there was no evidence of any customization or effort to make the event unique to my anniversary celebration. He failed to acknowledge or even mention the anniversary during the event.
The few interactions I had with him, I felt like his demeanor was awkward, lacking authority, and unprepared--certainly not what I would expect from a professional entertainer.
I absolutely should have interviewed him in person beforehand—I could have avoided an embarrassing and disappointing experience and saved a lot of money. I would not recommend Mr. Elliot to anyone and would never engage his services again.
