My daughter's wedding reception at the Swedish Institute was absolutely wonderful ,and a big reason was Tim and his band. We had Tim's five-piece band play during dinner in the Nelson Cultural Center (we had hardanger fiddlers--a Norwegian thing-- during cocktails in the Turnblad mansion, which is the only reason we didn't have Tim's band play during cocktails as well). The band was a perfect backdrop to dinner, and Tim did a fabulous job as the master of ceremonies. Then we had the band plus Tim and Maud Hixon (another singer I'd highly recommend) for post-dinner dancing. It was a major hit! Everyone was dancing, even my four-year-old niece and eighty-year-old parents, and we got too many compliments to count on having found such great entertainment. My daughter found Tim very easy to work with prior to the wedding--he made sure he knew exactly what she did and didn't want (including songs she hates). Tim took care of arranging for Maud to join the band and paying her, so we didn't have to do that separately. Everyone was also very accommodating--Maud and the band learned a special song for the bride and groom's dance and Tim and the band learned another for the final dance. We--and I think everyone who attended the wedding--would highly recommend Tim, his band, and Maud Hixon!

Tim played for the cocktail hour of our wedding. The music was great, and everyone loved it. All ages were out on the dance floor, but people could still hold conversations as well. So many people complemented us on them.

Tim and his Blue Eyes Band were fantastic. They were the most responsive, honest, and professional band we contacted when we were looking for a band. Tim was responsive to questions and had everything under control. Before the wedding, he sent us questions that touched on all the bases so we had no last minute surprises. The price quoted was exactly what he charged, and there were no hidden fees. He and the band worked hard to accommodate our musical requests, and even learned new songs for us. The night of the reception, they were set up, sound checked, and waiting when our guests arrived. We didn't have to worry about a thing. They played fabulous music and read the crowd well, keeping people on the dance floor all night. When they called last dance, people whined because they wanted to keep dancing.

Tim and the Blue Eyes Band were everything we could have imagined in a wedding band, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Our wedding couldn't have been any better. Part of the reason was the Tim Patrick Band. We knew we wanted to hear music a bit more adult, (no Chicken Dance!). We received many, many compliments about our wedding and how it was the best one people ever attended. Compliments were abundant about our selection of bands and how much fun the music was. We'd very highly recommend to anyone this type of music as an option, and specifically, Tim Patrick. We couldn't have been more pleased with the band's performance!

We are both ballroom and swing dancers, and Tim provided a variety of different musical styles: foxtrot, tango, swing, rumba, waltz, bolero, salsa, etc. He is very aware of the desires of dancers and uses tempos that are easily danceable.

Tim Patrick and his Blue Eyed Band played at our wedding last September which took place at the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis. They were very easy to communicate with before the event, and we even sent them a list of songs we wanted included into the playlist. Their pianist played our processional and recessional music (we chose two musical scores from the film Cinema Paradiso and gave him time to get the sheet music ahead of the wedding) and the band played the reception upstairs. Tim and his band's music exemplified the old Hollywood style of our wedding and our guests inundated us with compliments about how wonderful the band was. Everyone danced along to the band and it was a wonderful night with many thanks to them! I would definitely recommend them.
