Led by Jason Weismann — Berklee-trained composer, saxophonist, and vocalist, Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame inductee — The Dap Squad brings world-class musicianship to your wedding day. Jason spent six years touring Europe, opening for and sharing stages with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shakira, Harry Connick Jr., Wynton Marsalis, Steppenwolf, and The Guess Who. He now channels that experience into handpicking the best musicians in Minnesota for every event.

We offer flexible configurations to fit your venue, budget, and vision: from intimate duos to our signature 5–7 piece lineup, all the way up to a full 15-piece ensemble with horns and full rhythm section. We cover Motown, funk, pop, rock, R&B, jazz, country, and everything in between — and we’re happy to learn your first dance song or a special request.

All packages include sound equipment and MC services. We can cover your ceremony and cocktail hour in addition to the reception. Based in Minneapolis, MN — available throughout Minnesota and beyond.

Travel fees apply for events beyond 45 minutes from Minneapolis ($0.70/mile round trip). Overnight accommodations are required for events 2.5+ hours out and will be quoted upfront. All costs are itemized in your contract before anything is confirmed.
