Phenomenal
Jason and his band made the wedding so fun and memorable and I cannot recommend them highly enough! True artists, consonant professionals, and so, so, SO much fun! I highly recommend hiring the Dap Squad! -

The Dap Band played at my daughters wedding a few weeks and were great. They were professional, easy to work with and well worth the money. Would highly recommend to anyone that wanted a a great live band to perform for any occasion. -

The Dap Squad is comprised of top-notch musicians who know how to bring down the house in the best way possible. Throughout the night, and in the months after our 10/05/2024 wedding, our guests would not stop exclaiming to us, "Where did you find this band!" Cannot recommend highly enough. -

Hands down the best band we could've chose for our wedding celebration. Got us all out on the dance floor and the songs they learned on request from us sounded better than the original! Could not be happier.

We kept their card for two years!!
This band is an absolute blast. We saw them perform at a friends' wedding, and had so much fun that we took their card (we weren't even engaged at the time, but knew we had to have them at our wedding some day!). Two years later, we booked them for our own reception. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how fun it was, and people of all ages kept the dance floor full all night long. They are charismatic, extremely talented musicians, with insane vocalists. Their manager, Jason, answered all of my questions and worked with the venue directly to make the event completely stress free for us. -

The Dap Squad played at our wedding in Sept 2021 at the Van Dusen and they MADE the party! We were getting messages for days to come about how attendees stayed longer at our reception than they ever had before because of how fun the band made it (for dancers or observers). -

You have found the best live band so check it off your list! This band and their management are OVER THE TOP and pure MAGIC!!! Dap Squad is completely professional and provides high level entertainment. Jason Weismann is an exceptional vendor. He makes your experience a first class event and he treats you with nothing but courtesy, honesty and respect. He is an expert musician and manager. This band has it all. Quality, expertise, experience and can provide ANY particular style you may be dreaming of. This was my easiest and BEST vendor to work with over the course of Covid cancellations, changes and adaptability to our different wants and needs and musical goals. No one else gave me the same confidence and dependability. The music is outstanding and they are known for a higher level of sound and service. I will tell everyone I know to use them. They are worth every precious penny we spent. Every guest at our wedding is still talking about Dap Squad! They were exceptional in every way. They made our wedding nothing but nonstop fun and the band members were fantastic, personable entertainers. We felt like we were all friends when it was over. -

Phenomenal group! They arranged and sang our first dance and the rest of the night they led the evening with so much energy and were so creative with requests! It felt like they were part of the party! Very professional and easy to work with! Jason was great with communication. This is where we wanted to focus our budget for our wedding - worth every penny! -

The dap squad killed it!
When we found the Dap Squad we were blown away. The other bands just felt like wallpaper or like they were going through the motions, but the Dap Squad are THE REAL DEAL. The guys interact like a real band should, the solos were killing and the music was inspired! Man I wish we had a reason to hire them again. The fellas wanted to pool our money together and keep them playing the our venue wouldn't let us... THANK YOU GUYS!!!!

Marilyn Sent on 10/11/2018We had SO much fun at my son's wedding! (I am pretty sure I danced every single song!) They kept the dance floor packed! Their energy was amazing! If I could give them a higher rating, I would. We are from Colorado, and everyone wanted to know when they can come here to perform! Jason is awesome to work with and coordinated everything very easily. Their music was so great that we took a lot of pictures of them with us at the end, because we all thought that we had such a fun party with them! Their variety was songs was perfect.

Booking a wedding band can be a little overwhelming - it's usually one of the more expensive things on your vendor list, you want them to be in sync with your guests/party, and there are quite a few options. If you're looking for a wedding band, I highly recommend you stop your search now and book this band. They are INCREDIBLE. Handsdown, the best band I've seen perform at not only a wedding (and I'm not just saying it because it was my own wedding they performed at), but also best band I've seen at a large party/gathering. They have genuine personality, so much energy, and their talent oozes off the stage! If you're looking for your guests to be dancing and having a ball, this band will make it happen. They're very easy to work with (super fast response time!) and are open to customizing/learning some songs. Couldn't be happier with Minnesota's Music and will look no further anytime I need to book a band for a party or event.

The Dap Squad was AMAZING!!!! They made our wedding an event to remember for us and our guests. People kept coming up to us all night long raving about how incredible this band is! They were professional, unbelievably talented, and a complete riot. I'm really into music, so it was essential that we have a live band at the wedding. However I never dreamed that I could find a band that would blow everyone's mind within my budget. The dance floor was packed all night, and many guests (including us!!) stayed until the very last song! I've never had that much fun dancing at a wedding, and I'm so lucky I get to say it was OUR wedding!
I planned my wedding from out of state and Jason was a breeze to work with. He answered all my questions up front and helped me feel confident with the hire right from the start. He was quick to respond as questions came up closer to the big day, and even though I never got a chance to meet him, honestly he is one of the nicest guys I've ever worked with via email and phone!
Multiple guests came up to me throughout the night to let me know of this huge plan everyone was putting together to have a big party in 2019 for no reason, just so they can hire The Dap Squad to play again - clearly we made the right choice. Do yourself a favor and book The Dap Squad if you are looking to create a night your guests will never forget!!

Dan Sent on 10/23/2017The Dap Squad MADE OUR WEDDING!! I know you see these reviews and roll your eyes, but seriously when every vendor bagged on us (seriously) Jason put together an amazing band. He rehearsed and learned the songs we asked for and the band was so good I thought my Brother was going to lose his mind. It's a really great feeling to feel like you really knocked it out of the park when table after table keep saying.. who are these guys and how did you get them at a wedding?!! I will recommend these guys until I am old and Grey. Just do yourself a favor, worry about ALL the other headaches and Let Jason and the Dap Squad take care of of the band!! You will thank me later!
