About Gangi Photography

We are Tim & Mercedes, The Gangi's. We are a husband and wife team who love working together in pursuing our dreams while inspiring each other to become more creative photographers. We've been together for 10 years while running our business for 8 of those and we wouldn't have it any other way. We love capturing a combination of artistic and authentic moments that tells everyone's individual story. We pre-visualize from different perspectives, get inspiration from not the most obvious sources and view the world differently, especially photography. When we aren't behind our cameras, you can catch us binging one of our favorite shows, trying out a new local restaurant, or hanging out with our two cats Elmore & Albert.

    The best of the best!

When my fiancé and I started planning our wedding and choosing vendors, I knew that photography was one of my top priorities. I knew our wedding day would fly by and I wanted to have beautiful photos to be able to look back on for years to come. When I began looking at photographers, Tim Gangi’s work stood out above the rest. Once we met with Tim and Mercedes and found out how kind and friendly they were, we knew right away that we’d choose them! We weren’t quite sure where we wanted to have our engagement pictures taken, but we explained our vision to Tim and Mercedes and they gave us a list of venues that matched our vision along with examples of photos they had taken at each place which made it so easy to pick a place. We had our engagement session at The Glasbern Inn in the fall and it exceeded all our expectations. We were so excited yet nervous to have our pictures taken- we definitely aren’t models and didn’t quite know what to expect. My fiancé has never liked having his picture taken either so I wasn’t sure how this would go! Tim and Mercedes were so calming and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! It was so much fun! They are so creative and they really knew how to take advantage of the property and the lighting to give us the best pictures. We brought our dog along too and they worked so well with him! The Gangi’s delivered our full photo gallery well before I anticipated. We are in LOVE with our engagement pictures!!! The quality of the photos are just amazing- we received so many compliments from our friends and family on them already. Now we really can’t wait to have them photograph our wedding in May 2020!!!! Definitely book the Gangi’s for your big day! You will not be disappointed!!! Update- our wedding day has come and gone and little did we know a pandemic would change our plans a bit! Tim and Mercedes were SO accommodating and flexible when we had to change our wedding date due to quarantine restrictions. Our wedding pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and we could not be happier with our experience with Tim and Mercedes!

Blew out expectations out of the water

My fiancé and I recently had Tim and Mercedes do our engagement photo shoot at Longwood Gardens- and to say we are thrilled with the results of their work would be an understatement! Not only did the photos themselves come out beyond our highest expectations, but Mercedes and Tim are genuine, and great people to work with. They are very personable, and make what could otherwise be a bit uncomfortable of an experience completely laid back, and even fun. It is now hard for me to imagine how to even do coordinated/posed photos without a team such as Tim taking the shots while Mercedes seemingly can read his mind and coach the subjects of the shot. Truly amazing service/product they offer, I will be recommending them to anyone looking for a great photo shoot!

    Best decision!

We are so happy we went with Tim and Mercedes as our wedding photographers! Not only are ALL our pictures absolutely GORGEOUS, but they are so enjoyable and fun to work with! Tim is like a ninja crawling and climbing around to get all the best shots! They kept in touch the entire time from our initial meeting up until our wedding day. Even on the day of our wedding they stayed an extra hour to get pictures of the fireworks we planned last minute. Our guests even commented on how great they were! I look at our pictures everyday. Thanks again Tim and Mercedes!

I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in fine arts in 2006 and was introduced to photography shortly after. I loved how I could translate my admiration of creative and colorful compositions into photographs. Up until then, it was mostly painting and drawing, but now the camera allows me to visualize the world in a new way which is always very exciting. My strengths come from my strong creative background and pursuing the arts my entire life with a constant appreciation for the beautiful world around us. Besides photography, I love playing guitar, DIY projects, and a good cup of coffee.

Once Tim and I started dating back in 2011, we began photographing together. I fell in love with the way we worked together and since then, we've been teaching and learning from each other. I truly enjoy connecting with our couples, creating timelines, and planning in general. I focus on empowering women through their boudoir and maternity sessions. When I'm not photographing during weddings, I'm posing while directing, paying attention to the small details like fixing your hair and straightening bow ties, fluffing your dress, and making sure everyone and everything looks great. Besides photography, I love cooking, true crime podcasts, and changing my hair a little too often.
