History
Three Brothers Bakery was first established in Chrzanow, Poland during the early-to-mid 1800s. Known then as the Morris Jucker’s Bakery, the bakery was forced to close when Sigmund and Sol Morris and their families were sent to Nazi concentration camps in 1941. Sigmund, Sol, and their younger brother Max ultimately survived, immigrated to the United States, and elected to continue the intergenerational family tradition by opening Three Brothers Bakery in Houston, Texas in 1949. Sigmund’s son, Robert, now manages the business with his wife, Janice, and Sol’s wife, Estelle.
