After over a decade doing florals for weddings and seeing every style and scale of event possible, I find joy in creating for weddings that truly reflect my client’s personality. Whether you are a creative person who cares a lot about color and design, or you just want someone to make your celebration unique, I’ve got you covered. The more color, the more unusual, non-traditional the better as far as I'm concerned. I approach every wedding from my background as a visual artist and so no two events will ever be the same. In the same vein, I know that no two couples are the same and that all relationships are worth celebrating, so at Thicket we will always support love in all it’s forms.

Floral design is of course by nature ephemeral, flowers are living and must be as fresh as possible. This is why I try and source as many blooms as I can from local growers, and why I’m starting to grow some of my own blooms! It’s important to me to keep my business as sustainable as possible so I am only booking weddings during the local growing season, which is March-October and I am working on sourcing even more regional and US grown blooms. I compost blooms that come back from weddings, I provide vases as rentals so I reuse them again and again, and I don’t use single-use floral foam. If you’re curious to know more, just ask!

I currently offer full service weddings, though what I provide is dependent on your needs and your budget. I also provide smaller seasonal and elopement packages for couples in the Chattanooga area.
