Singer and violinist Ellen Shieh is available to sing in both English and Mandarin, and can travel to weddings throughout the state of California. This performer is also happy to travel to destination weddings, especially those in Taiwan and other Asian countries. in 2016, Ellen competed against various other acts and won Soulstice, UC Irvine's largest competition.

Ellen understands how to put a fresh spin on classic songs, for a wedding sound you'll remember for years to come. Ellen provides her own microphone and sound system and is happy to share some sample music to give couples an idea of her sound.

One of a kind performer for my cousin’s wedding!

Ellen is literally one of the most talented singers I’ve ever heard and an amazing violinist. She’s also incredibly professional, organized, and punctual. She’s one of a kind- not only an incredible performer, but is also such a breeze to work with! I highly recommend you to book Ellen for any performance needs, you will be absolutely blown away~

Beautiful performance, Beautiful Soul Inside and Out

Where do I even begin?
Not only is Ellen a wizard on the violin but her angelic voice really pulls you in!! We hired her for my parent’s vow renewal and just wow!! Blown away. Ellen took great care in curating a set list that spoke to not just the younger generation but also to the elderly - and some songs were in Mandarin!! I’ve always known Ellen to be a standup person but performer Ellen is truly a shining star! She’s very eloquent, graceful, and so so thoughtful. Everything she does reflects the wants and needs of her clients and she even helped us with the clean up at the end.
Definitely would recommend her services and talent to everyone I know!

How have you not hired Ellen is the real question!

I have seen Ellen's work ethic and attention to detail. She is passionate with her singing and violin and brings a ton of value to live events and weddings. She puts a lot of care in her craft and presentation, naturally because she enjoys what she’s doing.

Great energy, Great time!

Ellen is more than just talented. She’s passionate. You can hear it when she sings. When she performs at your event you can trust your party will be entertained. It's one skill to sing well, but performing to a crowd and getting them intrigued is a whole other ability, which she excels at.

In addition to singing like an angel, she also plays the violin very well!! You can get two different styles in one!! You choose the style you want. Most entertainers can only do one thing. You get the most bang for your buck. When you book Ellen, best believe your event's gonna be one hell of a time.
