Working with Carrie at the Windmill is one of the best decisions we have made around planning our wedding. We initially had our consultations with Carrie prior to COVID and designed our invitation (which is stunning) during that process. As we got closer to our wedding date, we decided we needed to postpone due to the nature of what is going on in the world. We asked Carrie to help us with a "Change the Date" card.

Not only did Carrie nail our invitation to a T, but the Change the Date could not have come out better. Carrie somehow managed to take my poorly articulated vision and turn it into a stunning piece of artwork that I will hang in my house forever. Given the difficulties of planning a wedding during these times, the Windmill not only represents extremely good value for money but also ultimate understanding and just wonderful people. We could not recommend them more!!

Sarah is incredibly skilled in her work, with a keen eye for beautiful design and timeless style! Beyond her gifted artistic capabilities, Sarah is a salt of the earth fantastic person in every regard. Her thoughtful, sincere guidance throughout the process was invaluable to us; without a doubt Sarah goes well above and beyond expectations for her clients. The best!!!

I had the pleasure of working side by side with Sarah to create our wedding invitations. I always knew that they would turn out stunning. Sarah is amazing! I showed her a centerpiece idea and told her what I was thinking and she created two perfect options to show my fiance who was out of town. The finished product was wonderful. We got our Save The Dates and wedding invitations from the Windmill Paper Boutique and had an AMAZING experience. Sarah, the owner, was beyond sweet, helpful, professional, and organized. For our Save the Date, we told her our vision, and she created the Save the Date on her laptop while we were there for an appointment. This was so helpful because we saw the image as she created it. We met this lovely couple at a bridal show and boy are we glad we did! We were told from a friend who is a wedding corrdinator at the W in with Beach that they were the best of the best. At first we thought they might be pricy and try to just push us to buy. We were completely wrong they made everything so easy for us and even accommodated our schedules. Truly amazing work and can’t wait for our guest to receive their invitations.

Sarah is SO fantastic to work with! She's extremely responsive (always a reply email within a day or so), creative, and thorough. She's understanding and helpful and really made figuring out all the intricacies of wedding stationary a breeze. I highly recommend Windmill!

Working with Sarah has been amazing! She was responsive, detailed and always willing to go the extra mile, AND she did it all while I was in Australia planning from afar and in a different time zone.

I started the invitation process like most people do - hours on hours searching through the usual invitation websites. It seemed like such a hassle to work with an online designer I'd never met to put something custom together. I was in FL visiting home in June and, on my last day, decided to take a chance and pop into her studio just to see if I was inspired. She didn't have an opening available but went out of her way to make time for me before my flight left that evening! We sat with Sarah for 2 hours and accomplished 10x more than I had in all the hours I was searching online.

After that, Sarah worked with us via email on the rest of the details and proofing process. I'm sure this was a bit of a pain for her from overseas, but she remained professional & responsive throughout. We have guests coming from all over the world so she helped us make sure all addresses were printed correctly and that each envelope had the correct postage. She helped with verbiage for each of the cards included and made suggestions along the way as to how we could make the whole process easier for our guests. She even made sure to get a specially printed wax seal with a kangaroo on it for the finishing touch of the invite! She just went over and above on everything : )

The invitations turned out BEAUTIFULLY! We've been getting compliment after compliment on them and it has set the tone for a beautiful celebration in December. You definitely will NOT get this kind of service working with one of those online websites where you're just a number.

To note: It is expensive so be prepared to pay for the excellent service and product you're getting : ) We ordered double thick invites with 3 extra cards, gold press copy, dusty blue ribbon wrap & a wax seal for 290 invitations.

It's easy to think that you can take care of all of your paper goods online, but going to Windmill and working with Sarah has been one of my favorite wedding planning experiences so far. Her shop in Boca is in a great location and is so sweet inside. She is so easy to talk to and work with. She took about two hours to walk me through paper basics, and gave me dozens of different invites, envelopes and suites to look through and tell her the elements I liked and didn't like. Everything she has is beautiful. Once we determined what I liked she came up with a perfect design for my invitation suite and save the date. She even went through the whole process over with my mom on another day. She was so accommodating and professional throughout the whole process. Although it might be pricier to do this option I would recommend Windmill over anything you can do online a million times.
