Above & Beyond!

Above and Beyond! Is the only way to describe the team at Westin Mount Laurel. Melanie handled my stress much better than I did. Her team truly made me the center of their universe. I like to think of myself as low maintenance. The decor for our ceremony and reception was not top priority for myself or my husband. We kept it very simple. Besides my bouquet, a few flowers on our arbor and the sweetheart table. Everything else was in house. It was simple but elegant. Our focus was on having a stellar party with great food and drinks with the ones we love. The Westin in Mt. Laurel delivered, BIG TIME. The endless hors d'oeuvres selection at cocktail hour, the entrees at dinner, the butlered desserts, the after party (omg, the after party) and the breakfast the morning after. Rami, where to begin with Rami. Anytime I turned around on my wedding day, Rami was there. Whether he was checking to make sure I was alright, finding all my personal belongings that I completely lost track of through out the day, or just making sure I always had a cocktail (or water) in hand. He was truly an angel. He was the last person to bid my husband and I farewell that night and the first person to greet us the next morning. Still making sure we stayed fed and hydrated. It's been almost 8 months since my wedding and I still can't believe how damn near perfect the entire day was. Did I mention the food?!?! People are still raving about it. At first, I was disappointed that we weren't permitted to bring outside food for the after party but Melanie reassured me that her chefs could make anything we wanted. I'm so happy I trusted her. It was a full Philly spread; tasty cakes, cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, etc. The happiest day of our lives was only as happy as it was because we chose to have our wedding at the Westin Mt. Laurel. Thank you Melanie, Rami and your entire team.

A Truly Exceptional Experience – Heartfelt Gratitude to the Westin Mt. Laurel Team

We recently held my father-in-law’s Celebration of Life at The Westin Mount Laurel, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am to the entire staff for making such an emotional day feel effortless, comforting, and so thoughtfully executed.
From the very beginning, the planning process was seamless. Living out of town, I chose this hotel and event space based on positive online reviews and its convenient location near the turnpike and I-295. What I didn’t anticipate—but so appreciated—was the incredible level of care, responsiveness, and professionalism from the staff every step of the way.
We hosted the event in the Regency Ballroom and also reserved a block of rooms for family and out-of-town guests. I worked closely with Taylor and Melanie on planning the event, and they were phenomenal. Sarah was also instrumental in coordinating our room block, and their kindness and thoughtful recommendations made all the difference. Upon checking in the day before the event, I was immediately reassured that we had made the right choice. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and accommodating—ready to help with anything we needed.
The evening before the event, we were able to begin setting up, and the staff supported us with every detail. On the morning of the event, they continued to go above and beyond. When we decided last-minute to add a podium and microphone so that family members could share memories, the team had everything in place within minutes—and even walked us through how to use the equipment.
The Celebration of Life itself was flawless. Every detail was attended to with care and professionalism. The buffet was not only delicious but beautifully presented and constantly refreshed. The bartender was excellent, and all of our guests commented on how lovely the service and food were. Most importantly, the staff truly cared. They checked in on us, brought us drinks or coffee, and made sure we were comfortable and supported. That compassion made all the difference on such a bittersweet day.
I want to especially thank Ramy, Magdy, Bernadette, Eldo, Missy, and the rest of the incredible team who worked our event. You all helped create a warm, respectful, and beautifully run event that allowed us to focus on honoring and remembering a loved one without the burden of logistical stress. I sincerely hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, because each person involved made a meaningful impact.
The on-site restaurant was also a pleasant surprise—delicious food with top-tier service. Every interaction we had with staff, whether in the hotel, event space, or restaurant, reinforced the sense that this team takes immense pride in what they do.
Without a doubt, if I ever need to host another event—or simply need a place to stay in the area—The Westin Mount Laurel will be my first choice. Thank you all for making this experience not just smooth, but truly special.

Two Hearts and A Beautiful Beginning

I cannot say enough go things about the Westin as a wedding venue. Melanie and her staff were gracious, attentive to our needs and always professional. The food was great, all my guests raved about the food. The venue was gorgeous. The staff is truly unparalleled in their customer service. Everyone had a fantastic time at our wedding and we have nothing but beautiful memories of our beautiful day!!!

Marriage at the Westin Mt. Laurel

Mark and his team were absolutely phenomenal. The moment we met Mark, we knew we were in great hands. He went above and beyond his duties. He helped us plan a wedding during the pandemic in two months. He was always available, day and night and even on his days off. The venue was beautiful and it accommodated every need we had. We highly recommend the Westin Mt. Laurel for any event!

Great place

In such a short time we were able to have the wedding. With Mark help us we were able to have four day event with no issues.
Mark and his team with Restorant and guest desk every one was wonderful to work with. We will recommend the place to family and friends.

Because of Mark Parent, my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams!!!

The staff was amazing and the hotel was beautiful. They treated my husband and I as if we were family. We also got married there and Mark Parent is the best wedding planner in South Jersey. Mark was very accommodating and ensured that we had everything we needed and wanted for our big day. Because of Mark Parent, my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams and Mark took care of everything so I was a stress-free bride We will be visiting again.

We love Mark Parent!

We hosted our wedding block here. They went above and beyond to make sure guests were accommodated. Mark Parent is a Director of Sales and worth his weight in gold! Sammara, Mark, and Nicole were a pleasure to work with through the year. We even got a free shuttle to our nearby venue and a free room through the SPG program because we had so many bookings. We highly recommend them!

Our experience at The Westin was unbelievable. We held our June 2018 wedding in the Regency ballroom and everything was honestly perfect. The venue was gorgeous, friendly and attentive staff (Al is the man!), and the food was delicious. Lauren was our event coordinator and my compliments do not do her justice. She was always prepared and friendly during our phone calls, emails, and meetings before the event. She was extremely organized and genuinely excited for our wedding! It was like planning with a friend instead of someone who was “just doing their job”. The day of she was up early prepping the bridal room/grooms suite, had the ceremony room set up beautifully, and was with us every step of the way. Her room décor was spot on. I gave her ideas of what I thought and she transformed ideas into the perfect ceremony and reception room. Her attention to detail was spot on and made me feel so special. Lauren made our experience so great.

My only concern when we originally booked was the lack of outdoor photo areas, but I was wrong. There were plenty of places to take pictures indoors and Lauren knew the best spots! You just cannot beat the chandelier shot! There is also a gazebo outside which photographed beautifully. If you are worried about only having indoor pictures for wedding shots, there are several local parks just minutes away for those outdoor pictures.

If you are getting married or planning an event, book it with The Westin and make sure you ask for Lauren as your event coordinator.
