We stayed the weekend in the Ellington Suite and got married in the chapel there! It’s a lovely venue and a beautiful building run by truly wonderful people (Joyce and Lankford). The rooms were comfortable and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We felt special and welcome every single minute there and HIGHLY recommend this magnificent inn and wedding chapel.

We were very pleased that we decided to get married at the chapel. Very sweet couple. You don’t have to worry about setting up or tearing down anything. Lovely, quaint and very personal place. We only had immediate family only made it very special.

This is a wonderful place for a nice, quaint and small intimate wedding. Mr. Blair did a wonderful job officiating the wedding. Mrs. Blair is a sweet women and she even let me borrow a bouquet since I have forgotten mines at home. I would recommend this venue as a place for your wedding if you don’t want to deal with the details of decorating, want an intimate setting in a beautiful and immaculate decorated inn.

Perfect small wedding venue! We did our ceremony here for a winter wedding. It's run by a couple and they just help make our special day perfect. They conduct the ceremony and will file your marriage license for you (although it is quicker to drop it off yourself). They set up everything for you so no need to go early to decorate. The room the ceremony is in has gorgeous stain glass windows. There is plenty of room for guest to hang out while they are waiting fo photos, and the photo options are great. Overall, I highly recommend it for a small lovely wedding of your own!

This chapel was the most helpful I experienced on my hunt. Once we decided to go with them, everything was taken care of. My husband was deployed at the time of wedding planning and Mrs. Blair was the most helpful. She made everything seem so easy. I am more than delighted with our wedding day and I am so thankful to have chosen them to celebrate with. It is a beautiful, intimate experience and you can't beat that for the help and price. I would recommend this chapel to anyone. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Elegant and beautiful...was perfect for our small intimate wedding. The Blairs are the owners of the Inn and they were so hospitable and warm.. made for a perfect day. We highly recommend!

This place was perfectly beautiful and affordable for a small wedding of 20 ppl (not including the two bridesmaids and two groomsmen). The officiant was very quick with the ceremony so the actual vows did not take too long and the wedding photos afterward on the grounds turned out beautifully. Also, the owners of Magnolia House Inn were able to supply us with information of local photographers and florists in order to accommodate us at affordable pricing. Overall, our small intimate wedding was a success!

The Magnolia House Inn is a true gem of warmth, class, and hospitality! I would recommend this beautiful and historic venue to any couple looking to elope or have a small wedding. My new husband and I booked the Ellington Suite for our Valentine's Day wedding and our experience was everything we wanted and more! Although our wedding day (Valentine's Day) was a popular day for wedding ceremonies at the Magnolia House Wedding Chapel, Mr. and Mrs. Blair made us feel as though we were the only ones getting married that day. Every couple there was treated as though the day was just for them. We were delighted by the personal touches throughout our suite and at our ceremony. Mrs. Blair even made the wedding cake herself and it was so delicious! Our weekend stay and wedding could not have been more perfect. All my new hubby and I had to do was get dressed for the wedding... Mr. and Mrs. Blair took care of everything else needed to make our wedding day feel like a perfect dream.. Besides the ceremony, the suite was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We will definitely return to stay at this very special place in Hampton, VA for future wedding anniversaries!

Where do I start? AMAZING doesn't even begin to describe our experience at The Magnolia House Inn. I will say that I can be a very particular person, but I put my faith on Mr. And Mrs. Blair and they came through for us. They guided us through everything with no snags! The expectations that i tried not to have were far more than surpassed. We scheduled our wedding for the day that the snow storm hit and Mrs. Blair called me a few days before that to offer me to switch weekends if we'd like, due to the impending storm for no additional charge. She assured me that she would be there and ready if we wanted to go ahead and do it, but wanted to give me a choice. We went ahead and did it anyways, and it was...honestly...beautiful and perfect. She explained that it was "MY DAY." The chapel was warm, candlelit, and inviting and I had my small, imediate famity with me. We didnt hear the vows ahead of time, but chose the inspirational ceremony. Mr. Blair hit it out of the ballpark!!!! I felt like he wrote the vows for us. He did perfectly. My husband and I stayed the night in the Ellington Suite. (All of the rooms are GORGEOUS and unique.) While the room had an elegant old school feel, it still had modern day amenities. And Mrs. Blair left personal touches, like things with our names on them. We had a hot tub room in our suite which was fantastic. The breakfast the next morning was delicious! The atmosphere was warm and cheerful. They were there to help but they weren't on top of us the whole time like other bed and breakfasts I've visited. We had candlelight and old music to enhance the atmosphere. My family was so pleased with everything and so were my husband and I. We will be back, and I will recommend this place to everyone. I chose Magnolia house for all the wonderful reviews that I know now to be true!!!!!! I feel like they are family now and WILL be returning!!!!!!!!!!!

This is such a charming Inn. My fiancée and I were blessed to have our intimate elopement ceremony at the Magnolia Inn. The Inn keepers were professional and made our day perfectly special and stress free. The Inn provided an excellent backdrop for our wedding photos- both inside and outside. Joyce and Lankford Blair are outstanding.
