VCLS was the first venue we toured. After seeing the space, meeting Barry & Amy, and learning about what they offer and how they run their weddings, it ended up being the ONLY venue we toured, and we locked in our date just a few days later. VCLS seemed like a perfect match for us, and we were excited to start planning our wedding with them.

It became obvious throughout the planning that Barry and Amy had every detail accounted for, but they still worked with us every step of the way to ensure our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be. Their level of professionalism and communication is top-notch, and we appreciated their willingness to work with our other vendors to ensure every box was checked.

As the weeks and months rolled on approaching our date, we kept reading new reviews every week from other couples who had gotten married at VCLS absolutely raving about their experience. We knew we were in good hands, but could all these other weddings really have been that amazing???

Well, after planning everything with Barry/Amy and celebrating our wedding on 12/13/25 at VCLS, our expectations were met, exceeded, and blown out of the water.

Barry helped execute the beautiful ceremony we planned with perfection, which rolled perfectly into a spectacular cocktail hour. The food and drinks at cocktail hour were incredible, as expected - their food offerings and menus were so inventive relative to other weddings we have been to, and the quality was as good as we’ve ever had. The reception and dinner service were also outstanding - dinner, dances, speeches, and most importantly partying all blended together perfectly. We also want to give a shoutout to the VCLS staff - several guests made comments to us about how great they were.

We cannot thank Barry, Amy, and VCLS enough for giving us the wedding we dreamed of and could not recommend them any more highly.

Two wise decisions recently made in our family—firstly, our daughter and now son-in-law choosing to get married, and, secondly, choosing Village Club At Lake Success as the venue. From the start of our planning process to the end of the wedding, Barry, Amy, and their fabulous staff had it all under control. We added two extra things to deal with—kosher food and having a tent on the patio for the ceremony. The kosher food was handled beautifully and deliciously. Any potential tent problems were completely alleviated by Barry and the wonderful tent company, Preferred Events LI. Any emails and phone calls between Barry and the bride, groom, and the parents of the bride were answered promptly and professionally. Everything that was promised was delivered, and more. Oh—did I forget to mention that the bride is a corporate event planner who expected perfection with every detail? She appreciated Barry’s expertise and experience. A joyful experience for all!

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue — stop searching! Our daughter’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular, and we owe it all to the incredible team — Barry and Amy, who made every single detail flawless from start to finish. Our decor was created by the genius team @ Lawrence Scott Events.

From the very first meeting, Barry and Amy treated our family like their own. Their organization, creativity, and commitment to excellence were unmatched. They listened, guided, and offered expert advice every step of the way — from early planning and vision boards to last-minute details the night before. Their communication was seamless, their responsiveness unmatched, and their passion for what they do shines through in everything.

The day itself was pure magic. Every moment flowed effortlessly — from getting ready in the morning to the final dance. Barry and Amy orchestrated the entire event with such precision that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were able to be fully present and truly enjoy every second, inlcuding the After Party. The bride and groom didn’t miss one moment of their day — and to wake up the next morning to a message from them saying “It was the best night of our lives” says it all.

The venue itself is elegant, warm, and perfectly set up for a celebration that feels both grand and personal. The staff went above and beyond, the food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable.

We cannot recommend The Village Club of Lake Success highly enough. If you want a wedding that exceeds every expectation, surrounded by a team who cares as deeply as you do — this is the place. 10 out of 10 in every way!

From the moment I walked into VCLS, I knew this was the place where I wanted to have my wedding. The ballroom and grounds are absolutely stunning, and there was more than enough room for our 200 guests. Even though it rained, there were gorgeous indoor photo opportunities — we can’t wait to see the professional shots! Most of our vendors had worked here before and were excited to be back.

Communication with Barry and Amy was seamless. They reassured me when I had questions, answered emails quickly, and even made my heart-shaped challah dream a reality. It’s the little touches that matter! Barry made this part of wedding planning stress free and he sure knows how to run a venue. Not to mention, he is very flexible and accommodating.

Guests are still raving about the food and drinks. We had amazing options like the foodtini station, tacos, passed tomato soup & grilled cheese, and exit stations which included popcorn, cookies, and pretzels. It was a hard decision on what to choose for the food since there were so many options and we saw this first hand at the food tasting! The entire VCLS staff was incredible, making sure every guest felt taken care of all night.

A special thank you to Amy, who was by my side from 3 PM until midnight and who fixed my dress just an hour into the reception when the bustle broke (she fixed it in half a second!). The next day, she also sent me 300 photos so we could revisit before we got the professional photos back. Amy had everything under control from the minute we stepped foot into the venue the day of the wedding and she was also there for my bridesmaids if they needed anything.

I HIGHLY recommend VCLS!!! I’m sad my wedding day is over but I am so happy I chose this venue. 1000000/10!!

Barry and Amy were amazing leaders managing the complete itinerary and map line of the wedding. The planning and organization was phenomenal and the team was able to add last minute details like throwing the bride’s bouquet to all the single ladies attending wedding. The bar tender and servers provided good services at all times, I would recommend for the servers to ensure all tables had at least 2-3 samples of the festival of desserts. Sincerely, we would recommend to friends and family Lake Success Golf Club as a party venue for any type of party. As we hear feedback from most of the guests attending our wedding, the wedding was worth remembering since every detail was well executed from the food, to the dj playing an eclectic variety of music, to the wedding cake and the photo taking experience. In regards to the food, the hours de vours and the creamy risotto in the vegetarian dish were so delicious and left guests wanting for more, which attests to the great quality of the meals. The mini desserts that we, the couple, tried were absolutely tasty without being overindulgently sweet. Our selection of beverages was classy and small (Bellinis, bloody Marys, prosecco, white and red wine, vodka, sodas, and seltzer water), though we’re very well made and servers ensured everyone always had a drink. The views of the venues are incredible during late summer since there was some breeze that could be enjoyed even with a sunny afternoon. Also, the team was so diligently on placing our wedding-party favors on each table setting. We are incredibly thankful and pleased with the overall turned of events at Lake Success Golf Club; we genuinely can’t wait to have another family celebration here.

I just had my daughter’s wedding at the Village Club this past weekend and I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was. When I looked at the place we were so impressed with Barry and the venue that we hired them on the spot.
I was in touch with Barry through the whole process. I asked for recommendations for florists, music, lighting, cake. Every recommendation he gave me I used and we were so very happy with everyone.
My daughter was able to have her dream wedding outside overlooking the golf course and the lake. The indoor/outdoor space for the cocktail hour was wonderful. The food at the cocktail hour was fabulous. I have been getting phone calls all day with guests raving about the food.
They brought me into the ballroom to see it before the guests came in. It was stunning. The service for the food was unbelievable. You never had an empty glass of water or an empty wine glass. The food was absolutely delicious. We had went for a food tasting about a month before. They took their time at the tasting to make sure we were satisfied with everything. It was hard to decide on entrees because everything was so good.
Amy the bridal attendant was fantastic. She was by my daughter’s side from 10am in the morning till 1:30am. Anytime she needed something, whether it was more lipstick or a glass of water. She had sneakers waiting for my daughter under her table when she wanted to take her heels off. She thought of everything. She took pictures for us and sent them the next day because she knows we don’t get the professional pictures right away.
Everything was perfect and amazing about my daughters wedding and I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone.

The Village Club at Lake Success was the absolute perfect venue for our June wedding! We knew when we first toured that it was the best set up and matched the feel we wanted for our wedding. We could tell during the tour that Barry was an expert at what he does and he made us feel excited and taken care of right away. Throughout planning, he answered our questions so quickly and easily and we were always welcomed to stop by the venue and see the new renovations they made or just see the place we fell in love with again. We loved that we were the only event being held there that day and the guests loved that they were able to get outside during cocktail hour to take pictures in front of the stunning golf course. It unfortunately rained on our wedding day, but Barry and the team set up a beautiful indoor ceremony for us and so quickly turned it over for the reception. Our guests keep telling us it was such a beautiful and magical wedding! The food was also beyond incredible!! From the tasting to cocktail hour to dinner and dessert, we enjoyed every last bite and know our guests did too. Harrison’s parents are vegan and they were easily accommodated. Amy helped me with all my bridal needs from getting dressed to driving us out on the golf cart to the bridge for pictures in between downpours and always making sure I had what I needed and wanted. We are so grateful we got pictures outside!! Barry and Amy are an incredible team and run such smooth, gorgeous weddings! Our ceremony started a little late due to transportation delays and Barry and Amy both made sure we had our full time with our band and guests during the reception. We are so happy we had our wedding here and we hope one of our friends get married here in the future so we have the chance to come back!!

We got married at The Village Club at Lake Success and truly could not have asked for a better experience. Barry and Amy went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the planning process to the big day itself, they were incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and genuinely invested in making our wedding special. Amy even saved the day by helping with an issue with my dress just before the ceremony—something I’ll never forget! The level of service throughout the entire day was exceptional, and everything ran so smoothly thanks to their attention to detail and calm, confident coordination. Our wedding could not have been more perfect last night and we are still on cloud 9. Amy and Barry went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we were happy. My husband and I knew this would be our venue right away and all our expectations were exceeded. We are getting non stop texts and call from our guests raving about our wedding. Not only are the grounds and venue stunning the food was to die for. A thank you will never be enough to express our gratitude but thank you Barry, Amy, and all the staff for providing us with the perfect wedding from start to finish!

Everything was perfect - the venue, the set up, the food (especially that Mongolian beef), the staff, the cocktail hour, the reception, the after party… everything just worked out so perfectly!

From the warm welcome from both of you guys when the busses rolled in, to the packaging up of everything at the end of the night (even the ranch dressing)… literal perfection from start to finish!
