The Village Club at Lake Success

Barry and Amy were absolutely incredible to work with! They handled all of our needs and acted as our day of wedding coordinator. The golf course acted as a beautiful backdrop and the wedding itself was amazing.

There are so many positive phrases and comments I would like to use about the Village Club at Lake Success but I am going to narrow it down to amazing, beyond helpful, fantastic staff and makes clients feel like family.
From the moment we met Barry, we knew we would be in amazing hands for our September wedding. Barry listened to our vision we had in mind, how he and his team can bring to life and how he would be there to truly ensure the vision would be executed. Barry, along with Amy, put my mind at ease with every decision, every delegation and every single plan they put in place to ensure our wedding was magical. They were thoughtful when there were decisions I wanted and was able to speak to me about alternative plans that would work better. As I was my wedding planner, they were great in providing great recommendations for other vendors to use as well as the coordination on timing and ensuring the vendors would be on time and ready to rock and roll. I can truly say, yes VCLS is one of the most beautiful places to get married at (it's a golf course with beautiful and scenic views) but what made it perfect is Barry, Amy and team! You need a team who cares about their client, their special day and their vision and when I say they DO THAT AND MORE - that is all the TRUTH!

We had great success at Lake Success. Regarding the venue, we were blessed with spectacular weather. We were able to have the ceremony outside in the shade and the adjacent lake made the setting peaceful and serene. For pictures, the backdrop of the golf course allowed for gorgeous pictures in nature. Barry and Amy helped to make this the best weekend of our lives. From the start, they were organized, easy to reach, and diligent. They really know how to throw a party. They have a formula and it works. They really shined on the day of, where they worked seamlessly together to ensure that the vendors were set up and that we remained on schedule. The food was BOMB. Even though we didn’t get much of a chance to eat, our guests are still raving about the quality, and quantity, of food. We loved the process of picking the menu and the food tasting was a blast. Would highly recommend getting married here.

IN THE VCLS WE TRUST!!! (lol) The Village Club exceeded every expectation and played a major role in making our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the moment we first toured with Barry, we knew we had chosen the most amazing venue and staff who were professional, attentive, and so genuinely invested in bringing our wedding vision to life. As the bride, I cannot even put into words how amazing the bridal attendant Amy was. From making sure my husband and I were fed, taking care of my dress, and making sure everything was perfect. She kept everything running so smoothly and timely, something I will always love and respect about her, or anyone who can organize a large crowd like we had! The Village Club itself is stunning, with the beautiful grounds that provided perfect pictures with our loved ones and wedding photos we will cherish forever. We LOVED how the outdoor cocktail hour area had a retractable roof and provided an outdoor area no matter the weather. What truly set the Village Club apart was the exceptional service and food! If you value food, you have found your venue. Our guests are still raving about how delicious all of the food at the VC was, which was so important to us, and something we were so grateful for. Communication was so easy with Barry and every question and detail was handled with such care. We were so grateful for how supported we felt throughout the whole process by Barry, and the team. Barry, and the whole team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and we that were happy. Their organization, communication, and attention to detail allowed us to be RELAXED and able to fully enjoy our wedding day, which is worth its weight in gold. We are so incredibly grateful for the memories created at the Village Club, for Barry, Amy and the entire team. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful setting and an outstanding team to help make their wedding dreams come true, ours sure did!

Everything was 100% from the first time we walked into the venue to the last step out on our wedding night. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and Barry and Amy made every single thing we asked for possible. We toured many venues, but as soon as we walked in, we knew this was where we wanted to get married.

What really set this venue apart was how easy Barry made the entire planning process. He was organized, responsive, and handled all of the smaller details behind the scenes so we could actually relax and enjoy the day instead of worrying about logistics. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly, the staff was attentive and professional, and our guests kept telling us how amazing the food and service were. Amy was with my wife throughout the day and made sure that all of the day of details were taken care of.

We truly felt taken care of from start to finish, and it allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place with outstanding service and a team that genuinely cares about making your day special.

We had my daughter’s wedding here a few weeks ago, and I truly cannot say enough about how amazing Amy and Barry were. The entire event ran so smoothly, was absolutely beautiful, and most importantly, I actually had fun. I never expected to feel as relaxed as I did, especially after all the planning beforehand, but Amy and Barry made everything feel easy and stress-free.

Amy was the bridal assistant I never knew we needed. She was incredible — keeping everything organized, running smoothly, and perfectly on schedule. She truly protected both the bride and me from all the stressful minutia we didn’t need to know about, allowing us to simply enjoy the day.

The staff as a whole was exceptional. The captains, bartenders, and waitstaff were attentive, professional, and kind throughout the entire evening. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and our guests are still talking about it. The culinary and back-of-house teams worked seamlessly behind the scenes to make the night flawless.

I genuinely love Amy and Barry — they are amazing — and we are beyond grateful for the care, professionalism, and heart they put into making my daughter’s wedding so special.

VCLS was the first venue we toured. After seeing the space, meeting Barry & Amy, and learning about what they offer and how they run their weddings, it ended up being the ONLY venue we toured, and we locked in our date just a few days later. VCLS seemed like a perfect match for us, and we were excited to start planning our wedding with them.

It became obvious throughout the planning that Barry and Amy had every detail accounted for, but they still worked with us every step of the way to ensure our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be. Their level of professionalism and communication is top-notch, and we appreciated their willingness to work with our other vendors to ensure every box was checked.

As the weeks and months rolled on approaching our date, we kept reading new reviews every week from other couples who had gotten married at VCLS absolutely raving about their experience. We knew we were in good hands, but could all these other weddings really have been that amazing???

Well, after planning everything with Barry/Amy and celebrating our wedding on 12/13/25 at VCLS, our expectations were met, exceeded, and blown out of the water.

Barry helped execute the beautiful ceremony we planned with perfection, which rolled perfectly into a spectacular cocktail hour. The food and drinks at cocktail hour were incredible, as expected - their food offerings and menus were so inventive relative to other weddings we have been to, and the quality was as good as we’ve ever had. The reception and dinner service were also outstanding - dinner, dances, speeches, and most importantly partying all blended together perfectly. We also want to give a shoutout to the VCLS staff - several guests made comments to us about how great they were.

We cannot thank Barry, Amy, and VCLS enough for giving us the wedding we dreamed of and could not recommend them any more highly.

Two wise decisions recently made in our family—firstly, our daughter and now son-in-law choosing to get married, and, secondly, choosing Village Club At Lake Success as the venue. From the start of our planning process to the end of the wedding, Barry, Amy, and their fabulous staff had it all under control. We added two extra things to deal with—kosher food and having a tent on the patio for the ceremony. The kosher food was handled beautifully and deliciously. Any potential tent problems were completely alleviated by Barry and the wonderful tent company, Preferred Events LI. Any emails and phone calls between Barry and the bride, groom, and the parents of the bride were answered promptly and professionally. Everything that was promised was delivered, and more. Oh—did I forget to mention that the bride is a corporate event planner who expected perfection with every detail? She appreciated Barry’s expertise and experience. A joyful experience for all!

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue — stop searching! Our daughter’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular, and we owe it all to the incredible team — Barry and Amy, who made every single detail flawless from start to finish. Our decor was created by the genius team @ Lawrence Scott Events.

From the very first meeting, Barry and Amy treated our family like their own. Their organization, creativity, and commitment to excellence were unmatched. They listened, guided, and offered expert advice every step of the way — from early planning and vision boards to last-minute details the night before. Their communication was seamless, their responsiveness unmatched, and their passion for what they do shines through in everything.

The day itself was pure magic. Every moment flowed effortlessly — from getting ready in the morning to the final dance. Barry and Amy orchestrated the entire event with such precision that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were able to be fully present and truly enjoy every second, inlcuding the After Party. The bride and groom didn’t miss one moment of their day — and to wake up the next morning to a message from them saying “It was the best night of our lives” says it all.

The venue itself is elegant, warm, and perfectly set up for a celebration that feels both grand and personal. The staff went above and beyond, the food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable.

We cannot recommend The Village Club of Lake Success highly enough. If you want a wedding that exceeds every expectation, surrounded by a team who cares as deeply as you do — this is the place. 10 out of 10 in every way!

From the moment I walked into VCLS, I knew this was the place where I wanted to have my wedding. The ballroom and grounds are absolutely stunning, and there was more than enough room for our 200 guests. Even though it rained, there were gorgeous indoor photo opportunities — we can’t wait to see the professional shots! Most of our vendors had worked here before and were excited to be back.

Communication with Barry and Amy was seamless. They reassured me when I had questions, answered emails quickly, and even made my heart-shaped challah dream a reality. It’s the little touches that matter! Barry made this part of wedding planning stress free and he sure knows how to run a venue. Not to mention, he is very flexible and accommodating.

Guests are still raving about the food and drinks. We had amazing options like the foodtini station, tacos, passed tomato soup & grilled cheese, and exit stations which included popcorn, cookies, and pretzels. It was a hard decision on what to choose for the food since there were so many options and we saw this first hand at the food tasting! The entire VCLS staff was incredible, making sure every guest felt taken care of all night.

A special thank you to Amy, who was by my side from 3 PM until midnight and who fixed my dress just an hour into the reception when the bustle broke (she fixed it in half a second!). The next day, she also sent me 300 photos so we could revisit before we got the professional photos back. Amy had everything under control from the minute we stepped foot into the venue the day of the wedding and she was also there for my bridesmaids if they needed anything.

I HIGHLY recommend VCLS!!! I’m sad my wedding day is over but I am so happy I chose this venue. 1000000/10!!
