The University Center at Kent State Stark was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our wedding planner was so helpful in making our reception one that we will never forget. The venue is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it for your next event.

The whole experience with the University Center was Great, from planning to help with tough decisions to the great food on the night of the event. The real star of this venue is Janet. She is the perfect planner and couldn't be more attentive. Our daughter will remember her wedding for a long time thanks to Janet. She is GREAT!!!!!!

The University Center at Kent Stark State was the perfect place for our wedding! We had 165 guests, and the room was a great size. Everyone could move around and be comfortable, while also able to see us/the dance floor at all times (there wasn't a bad seat in the house!). Sometimes you find places with pillars and walls, the University Center is completely open so there is no issues there. The staff was so friendly and accommodating as well. I got a lot of compliments after our wedding from our guests about how awesome they were - from the bartenders to the waiting staff. Janet is the event/wedding planner that works at this venue, and she is THE BEST! So sweet, honest, polite and helpful. We never had to worry about a thing (and that is so important as a bride). She would make time in her schedule to meet us that worked for us, which was especially important being an out-of-town bride. She also encouraged us to call her anytime we had a question/something come up. On the day of, she made everything run so smoothly and perfect. I also got a lot of compliments from my guests on her. If your wedding is at this venue, you get to enjoy your day as a bride/groom, not worry about all the little details/behind the scenes. I highly recommend!

The University Center at Kent State University- Stark Campus made for an amazing reception venue! I can't express how amazing it was working with Janet Capocci. She served as a guide throughout the entire wedding planning process- answering my questions quickly and served as a great third party to bounce ideas off of. From the florist to the DJ and cake, she was there coordinating the night- and the best part is my family and I had to do NOTHING! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was unrivaled. The venue served as a comfortable spot for the many guests with special accommodations. Three weeks after the wedding and we STILL have people raving about the reception and how amazing the food and venue were! I highly recommend this venue to any future bride

We are absolutely pleased with the University Center. The staff was professional and extremely pleasant. The location is beautiful, modern, and spacious. We also had an awesome wedding coordinator!
The wedding coordinator was extremely attentive to our needs, prompt, pleasant, and organized. We knew the coordinator would execute our plans with precision and grace. Almost all of our guests commented on how beautiful the location looked and the attentiveness of the staff. We used the baker, the linen company, and the florist the wedding coordinator suggested and they made our dream come to fruition!
Words cannot express how grateful we are for having such a great location.

Nothing but high remarks for this venue. With all-inclusive pricing, we enjoyed cost savings all around. We also received a day of coordinator who was just perfect. We had no worries, and that's the way it should be. So many compliments from family and friends. The place as well as the grounds are just beautiful. I love the University Center at Kent Stark!

The Rissoto Balls were fantastic. We had a great night from start to finish. We would definately recommend the University Center to anyone planning a wedding. There are so many great photo opportunities and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
