The Tryall Club was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding ceremony and reception. From the start of the planning process, up to our special day we were impressed by this exceptional venue. G’Oweneth and staff were outstanding and professional. We received so many compliments about the ceremony, reception, food, of course the stunning views, ambiance and the gorgeous beauty that is The Tryall Club. On the day of our wedding the team was phenomenal. The day was relaxing and enjoyable. G’Oweneth coordinated well with our vendors and the transitions throughout the day were seamless. There are so many amazing and perfect photo opportunities throughout the property. We looked at several other locations in the Montego Bay area and in our opinion, no other location held a candle to Tryall. The food was superb, and the service was excellent. Since the wedding, my guest have not stop raving about how amazing the day was and how much fun they had. We chose to have our ceremony on the great house lawn, cocktails by the pool, reception in the beach restaurant and dancing outdoor by the beach bar. It was truly an amazing night to remember. If you are looking for the perfect venue for your special day - this is the place.

Hanover Grange Villa is absolutely stunning. The staff was AMAZING and provided impeccable customer service.

My experience with the team at Tryall Club was great! My wedding planner G'Oweneth Tharkur was excellent, she was always available through out the process and she was on the ball on the day of!! Which kept my mind at ease. The team was amazing, attentive and hands on.
I would definitely recommend this venue. The property is just gorgeous.

To be honest, I ignored the fact that the most recent review was in 2018, and that was a big mistake. Planning our wedding at the Tryall Club was one of the worst mistakes of my life. They CANCELLED our wedding without any valid reasoning 3 months from the date. The wedding and events coordinator, Anthea, barely gave us the time of day from day 1. Even when we enthusiastically let her know we would be visiting with my parents to see if this venue was for us, she barely gave us 5 minutes of her time. When asking if we could have a tasting while we were there (after spending over 5k on this visit), she said that we would have to fly back down for another international trip for a tasting. The villa staff and Aston were wonderful and treated us like family - so I ignored the treatment by management (big mistake) and reserved and put deposits down on 7 villas for our family and friends that we had planned to accommodate. We hired an outside planner in Jamaica after realizing how little help the Tryall team would be, and my fiance and I flew back down for a tasting. It was made abundantly clear on many e-mails that I have celiac and cannot eat gluten. During our tasting (which was absolutely not even passing for ANY venue food) it was made clear to us that the chef didn't know about my allergy beforehand and a regular cake that I could not taste had been ordered. I got incredibly sick from our tasting (that was NOT gluten free). Being only a few months away from our wedding, our guests already had flights planned and all of the details were already finalized. I was willing to not eat the food at my own wedding to still have it at Tryall as planned and envisioned. They didn't want to take the "risk" of having a bride with a gluten allergy and cancelled my wedding 3 months out - there was never any good reasoning offered to us or our families. We were devastated. We never got to enjoy a tasting together or enjoy wedding planning together because of the stress and trauma they caused us in what was meant to be the happiest time of our lives. LUCKILY the team at Half Moon welcomed us and our whole crew with open arms and saved the day. Andrea and the Half Moon team was incredible! The food was a million times better than Tryall's as well. All this to say - I am writing this to hopefully save any future brides from making the same mistake.
