We decided to work with Nyika because she stood far out from the rest. We ended hiring her for decor and on the day coordination and she even helped with some of the planning with no complaints. She was present every step of the way with flexible timing like late nights which was the best for us. Her price was unbeatable and responsiveness was beyond expectations. Almost like she became a friend during the process and no matter how much I bugged her she always remained humble, attentive and helpful. We planned our wedding on very short notice; less than six months from start to finish. I wanted a French Garden party feel with lots of greenery to blend with my traditional Eritrean clothing and elements. She understood my vision from the very first day I talked to her. It felt less like working with a vendor and more like working with a trusted friend. In fact, I truly consider her a dear friend now.
From the beginning, she walked me through every detail with patience, creativity, and genuine care. She didn’t just bring my vision to life, she exceeded every expectation I had. Looking back, our wedding simply would not have been what it was without her. She was absolutely vital in making the entire day so breathtaking.

What amazed me most was how much she poured into our wedding. She went above and beyond in ways I never expected, constantly thinking of details I hadn’t even considered. We can't recommend Nyika Taylor highly enough. Working with her to plan our wedding was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and that's saying something given how long our process took. Our house burned down at the end of 2021, and the rebuild dragged on far longer than we expected, which meant we had to move our wedding date multiple times over the course of several years. Through all of it, Nyika was patient, steady, and never made us feel like we were a burden. She stuck with us through a multi-year planning process and kept everything on track.

She managed our vendors, worked with us on our budget, and consistently found ways to make our vision real without compromising on what mattered to us. Her range is impressive. We came in with a very specific style for our decor, and when we walked in on our wedding day, we were absolutely blown away by how she'd brought it to life. We wanted wooden tables with no tablecloths, and rather than settle for what was available, she commissioned a local furniture maker to build brand-new tables so they'd look pristine on the day. That kind of attention to detail is rare.

One thing that set Nyika apart was how available she made herself. A lot of planners structure things so you get a fixed set of calls on a set timeline, but Nyika was happy to get on a call any time we wanted to talk something through. She was also responsive over WhatsApp, which meant we could collaborate in real time as ideas came up. That made a real difference, because we planned this wedding from the US (my husband's family is Jamaican), and her availability made organizing a wedding in Jamaica from abroad as easy as it possibly could have been.

She has a great eye, she honored exactly what we wanted, and she worked with us on everything. Work with Nyika. You'll be so glad you did.

Where to start! Nyika and her team are the most professional and we have absolutely not one regret of using her service. From planning to execution, seamless! Not one guest had a complaint and most of all, us as the bride and groom, we were overly pleased.
