We used DestinationWeddings.com to assist us in planning our Destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We went with this company as I attended a wedding in 2018 in Mexico where my friend used the same company and they were really pleased with their experience and I thought the wedding was great! We started speaking with our planner Maggie Elles at DestinationWeddings in January 2023 and just had our wedding in January 2024. I would highly recommend Maggie. We gave her a budget and described our group vibe and she was very helpful in assisting us picking out our venue. We met with her often before signing our contract with our venue and then met with us every time we would have zoom meetings with our rep from our resort. I felt that since we had Maggie, that she would be able to decipher and articulate back to us what to expect, read the fine print, and answer any questions we had, which she did wonderfully. I feel like having a wedding planner, especially for a foreign destination was extremely helpful and they truly became an advocate for us. Maggie herself was also very responsive - which is what we needed. I also liked going through DestinationWeddings as they over promos on certain resorts so we ended up getting money back! We had a great wedding and have no regrets about using DestinationWeddings.

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Tiffany! From the very first phone call, we instantly clicked. She made me feel comfortable right away, and somehow wedding planning turned into us laughing and joking while still getting everything done.

Tiffany has been incredible throughout this entire process. She is thoughtful, organized, on top of absolutely everything, and always responds in a timely manner. Planning a destination wedding can be overwhelming, but she has made the entire experience SO much easier and has taken so much stress off of me. I genuinely don’t know what I would do without her!

What I love most is that she doesn’t make you feel like you’re just another bride or another wedding she’s planning. She genuinely cares, listens to what you want, answers all of your questions, and makes sure everything is taken care of. Somewhere along the way, my wedding planner also became my friend, which has made this experience even more special.

If you’re considering booking a destination wedding, ask for Tiffany! You will be in the best hands. I already know our wedding is going to be absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that is because of her. I couldn’t imagine planning it without her!

Andrea was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process of planning our destination wedding. She was always so helpful, responsive, patient, and made everything so much easier and less stressful for us.
She was there whenever we had questions, helped us through all the little details, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything came together perfectly. We felt like we were in such good hands from beginning to end. Our wedding and trip turned out absolutely beautiful, and we are so grateful to Andrea for everything she did to help make it happen. I recommend Kelly Fischer as wedding coordinator, she always available for any questions I have. At one point I had to change locations a couple of times and she was so patience with me. She makes sure I book the best hotel with the best price. She makes sure everything was right for my special day and not to worry about anything. She is the best at what she does!

My travel agent was truly the best. Karen Lasala is truly remarkable. Her attention to detail, patience and professionalism are only a few things my almost husband and I loved about her. She never dropped the ball with us. She answered every call, text, email. She handled every guest request and addressed every concern. She went above and beyond her duties to ensure our day was perfect. I am forever grateful for Karen and will never forget her.

From the grandparent of the bride, this wedding/vacation was the best getaway I've ever had. The travel agent Terri knew her craft very well.
She rose above all my expectations.
Every question was answered, All accommodation were provided. The Resort was very clean and the food was very good. I would recommend this vendor both hands up!

We had an amazing experience working with our Destination Wedding Specialist Brittany Hanks. From the very beginning, she was knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire planning process. Brittany was so patient with all of our guests - who we know were a bit annoying with all of their needs and questions and requests. (I'm talking guests missing flights, bringing dogs, canceling and rebooking rooms etc. - she navigated them all with grace)

We selected Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) as our wedding resort. We had a mini wedding week, with a welcome beach bonfire party and fire show, followed by our wedding the next day, followed by a catamaran boat party the following day. We used all vendors provided by the resort (cake, photographer/videographer, saxophonist etc.) While all events, including our wedding, turned out beautiful and fun - the wedding planner provided by the resort itself was not the best with communication which caused a lot of bumps along the way. During those moments, Brittany stepped in, advocated for us, answered my questions, and gave me - the nerve ridden bride -the reassurance I needed that everything would work out and be okay. Brittany checked in with me frequently the days leading up to the wedding - I felt she was always available if I needed her.

Brittany's professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made me feel supported every step of the way. I would definitely recommend using Brittany if you go with Destination Wedding. And even though we had bumps along the way, due to the resort and nothing Brittany nor I did, I think Dreams Macao Punta Cana is a great resort - family friendly (both kid and adult activities), a lot of daily events, decent food, nice staff, multiple weddings while we were there - and they all looked beautiful! And oddly enough, while there's music playing at some pools, and people bustling about - it was a very peaceful and safe feeling environment.

Amy Cate was our consultant and she was absolutely one of the best consultants we have worked with. She helped plan out our rooms and provided an excel spreadsheet to show balance for each guest.
