We used DestinationWeddings.com to assist us in planning our Destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We went with this company as I attended a wedding in 2018 in Mexico where my friend used the same company and they were really pleased with their experience and I thought the wedding was great! We started speaking with our planner Maggie Elles at DestinationWeddings in January 2023 and just had our wedding in January 2024. I would highly recommend Maggie. We gave her a budget and described our group vibe and she was very helpful in assisting us picking out our venue. We met with her often before signing our contract with our venue and then met with us every time we would have zoom meetings with our rep from our resort. I felt that since we had Maggie, that she would be able to decipher and articulate back to us what to expect, read the fine print, and answer any questions we had, which she did wonderfully. I feel like having a wedding planner, especially for a foreign destination was extremely helpful and they truly became an advocate for us. Maggie herself was also very responsive - which is what we needed. I also liked going through DestinationWeddings as they over promos on certain resorts so we ended up getting money back! We had a great wedding and have no regrets about using DestinationWeddings.

Cynthia from destinationweddings.com was an amazing agent. She was a godsend through the entire process. We unfortunately had an issue with the original resort we picked and had to completely replan the whole wedding at a separate resort 3 months out. Without Cynthia, I truly don’t believe the wedding would have happened. Between switching reservations over, helping contact the coordinators, and keeping track of all the amazing perks we received for booking our wedding, she was a huge help with the whole process. 10/10 would recommend Cynthia and destinationweddings.com for any destination wedding planning! 

I used Destination Weddings to book my wedding Valerie LeConte as my Wedding Planner. She did an amazing job coordinating 50+ guest with booking reservations at my wedding venue Princess Grand in Jamaica. Of course, there were some hiccups along the way, and she handled them efficiently &  professionally.

We had a great experience working Amy Cate for our Cancun destination wedding in March 2026. She’s very personable, responsive, and helped us narrow down resorts that fit our vision. It was especially reassuring that she frequently visits the resorts she recommends, which was incredibly important since we were choosing a venue sight unseen for such an important day. She handled guest room bookings and airport transfers, and even upgraded our transport as a courtesy, which was a sweet treat. One of the reasons we chose Destination Weddings was the incentives offered, which were a great bonus. The only complaint we received from our guests was delayed response times for room changes, but that was mainly due to the resort. Overall, we appreciated Amy’s support and guidance throughout the process and highly recommend her!

My coworker got married in Mexico in 2024 and recommended Destination Weddings to me when I mentioned we might be considering. Since there was no cost to us, I thought it might be too good to be true, but we had the absolute best experience with the company and with our assigned travel agent Andrea Coots. In the early stages of planning, we had no idea what country we wanted to have the wedding, let alone which resort. Andrea worked with us to figure out what kind of vibe we wanted, what our budget was, and made multiple rounds of resort suggestions until we found the right one. In our case, it ended up being a resort we would have never heard of or found on our own - and now one that our friends and family absolutely LOVED and that we plan to return to again and again in the future. Andrea specifically was a dream to work with throughout the planning process, which for us was close to 18 months. She is one of the most responsive people I’ve ever communicated with and made sure that we had all of the information, support, and assistance we could ask for throughout the wedding planning process. Our wedding had ~75 guests who all booked through Andrea and we heard the same positive feedback from them through initial bookings, room changes, name swapping, and more. We had veteran travelers and very inexperienced travelers in our group, and she did a great job handling everyone’s requests and giving them what they needed to feel comfortable. For anyone considering a destination wedding, I would HIGHLY recommend using Destination Weddings and would recommend working with Andrea - she is the BEST and we plan to work with her again for trips in the future!

I chose destinationweddings.com to help with my destination wedding and I got Natalie as my coordinator. I have never met her in person but am so grateful to her. She was awesome! She helped me with picking a location, set up initial contact with the resort and handled room blocks and helped with all the details. She was always available when I had a question or needed to call her. She made all of the initial wedding details so seamless and stress free!
