In a post-pandemic world, we’re acutely aware of our duty and opportunity to provide excellent event services while maintaining the highest standard of health and safety. Our protocols meet or exceed all directives from the local health department, city and county governments, and the governor.
Facilities and Capacity
The venue boasts a wide range of available rooms and potential configurations. The Main Hall is perfect for larger events and can hold up to 200 guests for a reception style event or 100 people for a seated dinner. For smaller, more intimate weddings and special events, the VIP Lounge is a quiet space with a bar for guests to enjoy themselves and relax with friends and family. The Lounge is beautifully furnished with Barcelona chairs and leather sofas. For outdoor ceremonies, the Gallery and outdoor patio area are great for celebrations during the summer months. Guests can also engage with on-site chefs as they use outside grills and the wood-fired oven. This space can also serve as an expansion for the Main Hall if necessary.
The venue’s event specialists have years of experience and can provide all event services needed. They can work with private event planners on behalf of the couple or support them if they have already started planning with outside vendors. In collaboration with the couple, the venue can customize all event services including equipment rentals, decor, and floral designs. From custom built bars, eye-catching flowers, furniture, pinball machines, arcade machines, and more, no matter what the requirement is, The Tasting Room’s staff can help the couple's dream wedding a reality.
Every dish at The Tasting Room is made from scratch, using the finest ingredients for many local farms and artisans. The venue hires and trains their exclusive event team in-house and provides impeccable service that exceeds expectations.
Within walking distance of The Salt Palace, Vivint Arena, Gallivan Center, Temple Square, City Creek, and many more hot spots, The Tasting Room is conventionally located and easy to find. For guests traveling from further afield, Salt Lake City International Airport is approximately a 15-minute drive away.
