What an incredible experience! From start to finish the process of working with River Bridge was so easy! Their in house caterer Sheps Culinary Creations is also incredible! I could not say enough good things about River Bridge. You need to have your wedding or event here!

We loved having our daughter’s reception at River Bridge Event Center. They made everything easy and a lot less stressful on the day of the event. They helped us work through a lot of detailed planning ahead of time so everything ran smoothly in the wedding day. I would definitely recommend using their venue.

I was a guest at the Love Yourself Event and this place is GORGEOUS! The details are amazing and the staff is lovely. I’d recommend this venue to anyone hosting a special event.

River Bridge Event Center is a beautiful venue—spacious, with a modern barn aesthetic. During the planning process, the venue director, Ellie, was kind and professional, and everything leading up to the wedding seemed well organized.

Unfortunately, the execution on our wedding day fell short in several major ways. We chose River Bridge because it presented itself as a full-service venue with clear expectations outlined in the contract, but those expectations were not met.

Issues included a broken ceremony arch, staff eating our catered food, and a delayed reception floor transition, which required guests and bridal party members to help move tables and chairs to stay on schedule. The staff also failed to set up the seven outdoor tables with linens included in our agreement and refused to take out the trash, claiming it was “too heavy,” leaving it to overflow; our coordinator had to handle it herself despite this being their contractual duty. The microphones—part of our package—were locked up, and we had to call the on-call manager to unlock them because no staff could be found, resulting in some speeches being given without a microphone. The drink cart, promised to be fixed before the event, remained broken and extremely difficult to move. Lastly, our coordinator had to repeatedly ask staff to turn on the fire pit, and their response was, “Is it really worth it?” despite multiple earlier requests.

While a small refund was eventually provided after multiple calls with the event director and owner, it did not make up for the lack of accountability or failure to uphold the contract. Given our experience on such an important day, we would not book here again and cannot recommend this venue unless expectations are kept very low and couples are prepared to handle many responsibilities themselves.
