Facilities and Capacity

Log Haven's property totals 40 acres of privatized land nestled in Wasatch National Forest in the Beehive State's majestic countryside. On the grounds, nearlyweds will find an immaculate and tranquil lake, towering trees, and marvelous mountains that dominate the background, perfect for photoshoot opportunities on the magical day. Log Haven has a capacity of up to 450 guests and contains several different event spaces that couples can choose from for the occasion, with indoor and outdoor options available. The Library Suite hosts 75 loved ones, whereas the Winter Conservatory welcomes between 80 and 90 invitees, depending on whether you prefer a standing or seated gathering. The Hillside Amphitheater, perfect for ceremonies under glorious sunshine surrounded by stupendous nature, seats up to 200 guests. The most prominent outside ceremony spot is the Lakeside Garden Meadow, which includes a gazebo with views of the magnificent meadows and pristine pond and can hold up to 350 for a sit-down matrimony. Log Haven's largest area inside the building is the Wasatch Room, Foyer, and West Deck space, a dining room zone with a 150-person capacity.

History

Log Haven was built over a hundred years ago, in 1920, by the Salt Lake steel baron and founder of Geneva Steel, L.F. Rains, who had the premises constructed as a gift for his wife. The titular logs were shipped from Oregon and delivered via San Francisco before being hauled by horse-drawn carriage four miles up Millcreek Canyon at the foot of the cliff and the cascading waterfalls. Since then, the location has received consistent awards and recognition as the "Most Romantic Restaurant" from several Utah publications.
