Log Haven is the most perfect setting for an elegant mountain wedding. The scenery is unreal, with multiple locations for photos and your guests to enjoy. The restaurant itself is cozy and romantic and the food is next level!!! Our signature cocktails had ingredients right from their garden! Service from the coordinators, Faith and Ian all the way to the day of staff was unbeatable. Very personable and so so sweet, specifically our bartender Brenda! Would get married here a thousand times over.

Best day of my life!
After touring a few potential venues for our wedding last year, we knew right away that Log Haven was right for us. They fit our vibe perfectly, and compared to the other places we looked at, it was more affordable for us too. I loved how they tailored the food/drink bill for the number of guests we had, which was better for our small wedding. Casey and Hailey did a wonderful job taking care of us leading up to the day and on the day itself. They never missed a beat, and everything fell into place absolutely perfectly. We got so many compliments from our guests about the atmosphere and food. We're so glad we chose to have our special day at Log Haven. 10/10 highly recommend!

Glad we got married at log haven
The thing we cared about the most while booking a wedding was working with someone who would make it easy. Log haven did just that. They have everything thought out and are ready with exceptional recommendations for anything you might have forgotten. It's also an absolutely stunning location with excellent food and now months later I don't think I heard one critique of our wedding. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

Log Haven and their team are exceptional. No detail was left unnoticed. Communication was fantastic from the time we signed the agreement (12 months in advance) to the week and day of the wedding. The food was fantastic and the service from the wait staff/bartender was kind, expedient, and accommodating. Our experience with Log Haven was absolutely incredible. Their help in planning and coordinating our wedding went far beyond expectations. They provided the complete wedding planner experience including suggested vendors to contact, timing of each phase of the wedding experience and guidance as to when and where our guests should arrive. They helped and guided us through the rehearsal and all pre wedding planning the day before.
Needless to say the food and attention to detail in presentation was outstanding. Our guests were completely impressed with the food quality and the overall experience.

Breathtaking. Amazing. A fairytale dream come true.
This venue was to die for! Everything was perfect from top to bottom, and the coordination team was second to none. All the details were in place and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing but enjoying our guests and each other. The food was amazing, the scenery was gorgeous, and I wish the night never ended. Couldn’t have had a better wedding.

Amazing venue
I cannot believe how beautiful this venue is. The ceremony space in the meadow is so gorgeous and at sunset time for weddings it was so special. This is the perfect place for a nature wedding. Then to be able to have the beautiful amphitheater as well and the reception area at log haven really seals the deal. I am so happy we chose log haven. The food as well was delicious and Casey did an amazing job with planning and help us with everything.

Log Haven hosted our wedding last weekend & we have been working with them for the last 8 months. We specifically worked with Casey who was absolutely incredible! Casey is super kind, friendly, approachable, attentive to detail, and SO organized with super fast response times with any and all crazy questions. Log Haven is a gorgeous venue and totally fit the vibe we were searching for (it truly speaks for itself) but Casey made it an even easier decision to book this venue. Casey and the team at log haven made planning a wedding 10x easier than it would have been without them. Their preferred vendor list is thorough and has several options for each category - but not too many that it is overwhelming. They also coordinate everything in the couple months leading up to the event, making our lives so much less stressful in those last few months! The event went off exactly how we had imagined it. Casey & his whole team did an amazing job throughout the entire evening. I was super impressed with how the staff was so attentive with our guests. You will not regret choosing Log Haven for your venue!

We just had our wedding at Log Haven. The service was incredible and a huge shout out to Brenda, what an incredible bartender, every single guest came up to me to rave about her. Best Place in Utah
We had a December wedding at Log Haven. Faith and team were amazing making sure every detail was the way we wanted it. Faith was always available via text or email and helped customize everything. Timeline, bar, menu, and decor leading up to the event. We used their preferred vendors for floral and DJ, but used an additional company for candles and extra decor and they went above and beyond to set those out to so that we didn’t have to lift a finger or hire an additional team day of. They are so experienced with what they do and know exactly how to run things so that everything happens exactly as planned in the background so you can really enjoy your day. We highly recommend paying the extra for the plated menu, it’s well worth it for the amazing food the chef comes up with, not to mention better for the guests who then don’t wait in line. So many people have told us that was some of the best salmon and steak they’ve ever had period, let alone at a wedding! I’m sure I’m forgetting more details, but again, LH is the best venue around!

Zero Regrets, Perfect Day
Log Haven was the perfect wedding venue for our morning wedding ceremony and luncheon in the amphitheater and patio.
The venue itself was absolutely beautiful in September and the canyon temperature was great for a late morning wedding, despite warm temperatures in the Salt Lake Valley. The entire area was green and Log Haven itself had lots of flowers in planter boxes which added color to the space. It was great for pictures, both at the waterfall in front of the building and throughout the grounds.
They provided a day-of coordinator, Casey, who were incredibly helpful in preparing for the big day and getting everyone in place on the big day. All the staff were professional and competent and put the guests at ease. They also were able to coordinate with our other vendors such as flowers and cake to ensure other items were set up at the right place and time. They also helped cue our string quartet during the ceremony. The floorplans, timeline guides, and banquet information they provided us was very helpful for determining the details of the day, and their pricing practices were very open. (They provided a worksheet which allowed us to sum up our estimated cost before committing, which was very accurate.) Casey was very helpful in answering our questions and met with us several times ahead of the wedding, including leading a ceremony rehearsal for us, our family, and officiant so everyone knew where to go.
The banquet food tasted great and the staff were efficient at moving the tables through the line as well as cutting and distributing the cake.
Overall, Log Haven was a great venue to work with and we can't recommend them highly enough.

We decided to have our wedding at Log Haven due to their wedding coordinator service, stunning location, and proximity to family. Log Haven made planning our wedding so incredibly easy with their recommended list of vendors within the valley. The whole Log Haven staff was so incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our day special. The food was incredible and we spent less per plate than other weddings we've been to. There are a lot of mountain venues to choose from in the Salt Lake Valley, but Log Haven really stands out due to their connections with other wedding vendors, skilled staff, and beautiful atmosphere.

Magical venue!

A Magical Wedding Day

We had a very small COVID-19 wedding with just 24 people for ceremony and luncheon at Log Haven. The venue was beautiful and the food was even better! One of my guests said it was the “best food he’s ever had at a wedding.” Faith was there the day of the ceremony and everything was flawless! The coordinators at Log Haven helped us make our day special and exactly how we wanted it. They were very professional and responsive. We had a social distance wedding with close friends and family and they made us feel comfortable and safe in doing so. We used multiple spaces at the venue, and each of them were special. We had our wedding at Log Haven and I couldn't recommend them enough. Faith and Clayton made everything so easy and stress free. The wait staff were excellent and the food was delicious! The location is gorgeous. Everything went so smoothly and we couldn't be happier with our experience!
I've photographed wedding events here and eaten here whenever I have friends in town ;) Log Haven is on another level. Amazingly gorgeous and the location is amazing. Everyone loves it for good reason

Absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend hosting your wedding here especially if you want a wedding planner included. They did everything and everything ran very smoothly. For what you get it is defiantly reasonably priced. Dinner was great! The only complaint I have is they are kind of snooty. But hey this is a 5 star venue for a great price!

I am still getting compliments on how beautiful the venue is from the 10 min drive up the canyon to the fresh water stream in the patio area. Faith and Kirby helped lessen my nerves by decorating, serving, and planning every step along the way. At a very prompt response rate! The on site coordinator during the day helped the flow of events. And on top of it all, the food was amazing!

We are so happy we chose Log Haven as our wedding venue. It was perfect! Not only is the location absolutely stunning, the food was amazing and the staff were incredibly helpful. it was so important to us to have good food at our wedding. Everyone commented that the food and service were fantastic. Kirby and team went above and beyond to help us plan every detail and to provide us with everything we needed on the day of. They provided samples of floor plans and helped organize all of our vendors so we did not have to worry about anything. The only downside is that the earliest we could arrive was at 4:30pm (ceremony at 6pm) to get ready. It all worked out just fine. We would definitely recommend Log Haven!

Our wedding day was pure magic. Faith and the whole event team really go out of their way to make sure everything goes smooth. We were in touch pretty much my whole entire engagement and I was able to make changes very easily and quickly through email or phone calls. The venue itself is gorgeous and the food was amazing. Nothing went wrong, and that is something you want for your wedding day.

The only thing I could say that would be to remind the bride to have her bouquet! I was so nervous, and getting ready to walk down I totally forgot to even walk down with my $100 bouquet. But besides that everything went great!

We had the best day of our lives and an outstanding wedding at log haven. The setting is obviously gorgeous. Faith and her team were excellent and were very attentive, informative, and professional with preparations and during the event. Our guests were also impressed w the wait staff and service. I had many special requests and additional details that Faith and Cynthia made sure were executed without a hitch. On the day of the event I felt spoiled as "the bride". And the repeated echoed sentiment from my guests was that the food was scrumptious. But duh, it's log haven!
I would also like to give kudos to our bartender Barb. She was amazing. Our Chicago crowd kept her hopping and she rose to the occasion w great service and was always quick with a smile!
My only complaint is that the night went by too fast! Wish we could have a do over!

I fell in love with the venue years ago when I moved to Utah from Oregon - it still feels like a piece of my NW home here in Utah. I am so grateful that I could hold my wedding there. The staff are amazing, so helpful, so accommodating. If it is something that you are also needing, I have celiac disease, as do other family members. No special changes were needed for the menu, the chefs are well trained and knowledgeable. We all enjoyed the same delicious meal together without having to stand out for eating something different then the rest of the party.

Log Haven is a breath-taking venue for sure but it does not come without a price-tag. You will pay top dollar for this venue but you will also get top dollar service. The staff at Log Haven cannot be beat and the service is amazing. Faith is experienced, knowledgeable, helpful, organized, and calming (what every Mother-of-the-Bride needs). My daughter's wedding turned out amazing and I have received so many compliments. In hindsight would I hold my daughter's wedding there again? Definitely yes!

Our experience with Log Haven was wonderful from beginning to end. We got married in the meadow Sept 10, 2016 and it was breathtaking! The leaves were just barely starting to turn. Our reception was across the street at the restaurant where we rented the entire property (inside and outside) and it was perfect!!! Our wedding was about 250 people. We hired a lighting company to string bistro lights over the dance floor and it was dreamy! We had two buffets and people raved about the food. Faith is one of the wedding coordinators (sales and event manager) and was who we worked with the most. She was on top of everything, responded quickly to emails, and made everything so stress free! The day of the wedding she was fabulous and made sure everything went smoothly. Ian is the general manager/co-owner and was also very helpful the day of the wedding. Our parents gushed about Ian and Faith and how the two of them made sure they were taken care of and having a great time. Thank you so much, Log Haven, for the amazing memories from start to finish!

Faith and Kim, the wedding coordinators were so helpful and attentive. The whole wedding came together perfectly! The amphitheater where the ceremony was held had an amazing view of the mountains. Faith and Kim helped us keep the evening on schedule as well and we couldn't have been happier with how the wedding went. I highly recommend Log Haven for any couple looking for an outdoor wedding venue that is all inclusive (with catering, ceremony and reception space, with bar service and dancing).

If you want a unique wedding tucked away in the mountains of the canyon , with a planner who has incredible experience and immense patience, then Faith and her team at Log Haven are going to meet your expectations. Our daughter and her fiancé chose Log Haven because of the special feel it offered. Breathtaking views, sun setting by meadow and flexibility of space. The staff at Log Haven were wonderful. It was a dream wedding for all of us, international and USA guests that made it to Utah from far and near. Despite the quick rain cloud, it was handled efficiently and we danced under the stars with joy in our hearts. " Best wedding ever" from most of our guests!!!!

The best decision we made for our wedding was holding it at Log Haven. Everyone was so impressed with everything from the setting to the staff to the food. Kim and Faith were excellent to work with during the planning stage. Kim was absolutely amazing the day of the wedding. She made sure everything ran smoothly and seemed to be everywhere she was needed. We rented the amphitheater and patio for our May wedding. It was absolutely magical. Every single guest commented on how perfect the venue was and how amazing the food was. Many people said it was the best meal they have ever had. I can honestly say that my wedding day was the best day of my life thanks to how perfect everything was at Log Haven. The ceremony location was stunning and walking in through the woods with my dad is a fun and unique memory that we will always have. It was a really cold night but they had space heaters out and people could go inside to warm up. I hope I'm not forgetting anything but you definitely will not be disappointed if you choose Log Haven for your wedding and reception location. We could not have chosen a better venue.

Amazing Venue and amazing people to work with!!! I highly recommend Log Haven for your wedding!! I feel that it was well worth the price we paid. Faith and Cynthia made sure that the everything went smoothly. It was nice to not have the stress of figuring out the "flow" of the wedding. They responded promptly to emails and where able to answer every question that I had.
There is also no need to do a lot of decorating, the scenery at Log Haven is almost enough. Of all the places that we were looking out, we were both happy that we had settled on Log Haven :)

I could not be more satisfied with my experience and wedding at Log Haven. The staff there is absolutely wonderful and made sure that my day went off seamlessly. Kim was amazing when I first went up to view the venue with my family. We were mesmerized by the beautiful waterfalls and natural beauty of the amphitheater and patio area where we had decided to have my ceremony and reception. Faith, the events manager, then worked with me the rest of the process ensuring that every detail was accounted for and even worked with me through some emotional hurdles with my ceremony. She and Cynthia made sure that my ceremony was beautiful and that the reception was both wonderful and fun. My group was a little rowdy but the staff at Log Haven were nothing but respectful and sweet to everyone. The food, I cannot even begin to describe, it was amazing! I requested a plated meal and they created four different main course options. The chef even went out of his way to modify his entire menu a week before the wedding (without charge or complaint), when I realized I had forgotten to request my meal without nuts. If you are looking for an amazing venue for your special day- this is without a doubt the best place in Salt Lake City!

It rained on our day, and our wedding was supposed to be outside but Faith rearranged everything and it ended up being even more beautiful, and so easy for me. We wanted a special menu that wasn't something they offered, and they created it for us no problem, and it was DELICIOUS. Everyone, I mean everyone, said it was the most delicious food they've ever had at a wedding. I couldn't recommend them more.

We did an outdoor wedding and ceremony August 1. The wedding coordinator, Faith, was amazing. Everything was better than I had imagined. The food was amazing, all the guests loved the food. Gorgeous place for a wedding. Had my wedding the weekend of a huge snow storm. Log Haven was very helpful of making sure everything was go even though the weather was bad up to the day of the wedding. Have to say all the snow made for amazing pictures. The service there was amazing and they were very on top of their game. The food was warm and worth it even as a buffet. Guests were commenting on the food all night long and how they loved the atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Faith at Log Haven is very helpful and easy to work with.

Log Haven was the perfect setting for our wedding. Thank you for making it a perfect day! Coordinating staff were very helpful and accommodating, the staff was garcious and obliging and of course the food was deliciouis! We really enjoyed the whole experience of working with you!

Working with Log Haven was wonderful. Their team is kind, professional and attentive. They met with me multiple times prior to my wedding day and helped me stay on top of all my wedding planning tasks. Their wedding coordinators made sure the day was completely stress free. The food is incredible and the venue is so gorgeous that I barely spent anything on decorations and floral. Thank you Faith, Kirby and the rest of the LH team!

Beautiful venue, just go up there and you will fall in love. A wedding coordinator comes with the package and boy do they help a lot! Made our place cards, table numbers and herded us around because it's such a large venue (only because we chose to have the ceremony in the meadow). But for the reception (ours was in the courtyard) it felt to intimate. The wonderful lead server, Cynthia, kept us in the loop with our liquor budget, thankful because man can people drink at a wedding! The food was amazing, we were worried it was going to be too fancy (just look at their menu, it's not for everyone's palate), but WOW, we were blown away. I ate every bite and didn't even care I was in a tight white dress! My shoes gave me blisters and they came running out with bandaids, I'll never forget that. Brought us drinks while we were taking bridal party photos and saved us some appetizers too. The venue needs very little decorating, we just brought floral arrangements for the tables and their already beautiful venue did the rest. The only reason I gave them a 4.5 star in the quality of service rating, and this is super nit picky, but they misspelled my name on the name card and a couple of my guests were Ms. instead of Mr. Which the guests found funny, but the A type me was annoyed because I know I didn't mix that up on the list I gave them. Other than that tiny detail we had an amazing wedding, wouldn't change a thing.

We were so happy with Log Haven from our first visit there to when we exited on our wedding day. Faith provided exemplary customer service and definitely made sure that we were well taken care of. She took the time to get to know us and our style and made us feel cared for and respected as individuals throughout the process. Additionally, the venue is so beautiful! That is what drew us there in the first place - the location. It is a beautiful cabin-in-the-woods-feel paired with elegance in a stunning outdoor backdrop.
The food was excellent. We chose to have 2 hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour (the only downside was that they ran out of appetizers; I would recommend to other couples to have more than we did!). Everyone loved the hors d'oeuvres. We then did a dinner buffet that was filling and was made with natural ingredients, which also was something we were looking for. The food was loved by us and all of our guests.
Faith and her team were really so excellent to work with. They made sure that things flowed seamlessly and that we could enjoy our wedding day without stressing about anything. That, combined with Log Haven’s natural beauty, made this an excellent ceremony and reception venue that we so highly recommend!

Wonderful daytime wedding
Casey was on top of all the details. He kept our group on track and helped the day go by smoothly. Our day started in the meadow for the ceremony and then ended in the Wasatch room for the reception. We chose not to do a cake cutting or any dances. We did have Maywood quartet there the entire time which was great.
Everyone loved the food and drinks. The staff also helped pass out our two desserts (croquembouche tree and crepe cake). The only reason I took off a star on flexibility was due to the menu not allowing customizations besides food allergies. In the beginning it appeared my request to swap the beef for the bison was a simple question to ask the chef but I was told after we paid that it was not possible. Again, the food was great -- this was just a request I looked forward to and would've appreciated hearing from the chef the reason why the swap was not possible.

They were on top of everything.
The thing I was really anxious about beforehand, because I am a very anxious person in general, is that I didn’t want to have go be in control of when we do certain things and reminding people of those things. Luckily the coordinators have everything perfectly under control. They were also very easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding.
The venue is beautiful, and the food was good. The reception space is on the smaller side, but perfect size for what I needed. If you are going to have more than 90 people it is going to get tight unless you use the library. Also, one of the biggest downsides is there is not a good get ready space. It is very small for the bride/bridesmaids, and you definitely cannot have your hair/makeup artists come there. That was not a huge deal for me though. The real reason I chose this venue was the ceremony space. Both options are so beautiful.
Overall, I have no real complaints

This was a fabulous place to have a ceremony and reception. Everything about it was perfect. Staff is top notch. Faith is amazing.

Log Haven is amazing! The setting is beautiful, the food was delicious and the wait staff was so great at checking in with us throughout the night. Everyone working that night was so accommodating and pleasant, we and our guests felt very well taken care of. The bartender working that night (I think her name was Brenda?) was extremely kind and went out of her way to make sure the VIPs at the reception had drinks throughout the night. She even offered some boxes and a helping hand for hauling out our flowers at the end of the evening. It was also a relief to have them do the coordinating with our vendors in advance.
My only complaint was that there was some disconnect during the reception as to the timing of key events, such as when we walked in, cake cutting, first dance. I had sent the all of our vendors the timeline agreed upon with Log Haven, but it didnt seem like the coordinator, the band, and the photographer were working together. I cant decide if I was expecting the coordinator to be more pro-active to ensure things ran smoothly throughout the reception, or if our photographer was actually the one throwing off the plan. Hopefully none of our guests noticed some of the hiccups.

We had a great experience working with Log Haven. They were very responsive to questions we had (we were planning from Kansas) and they set up a wonderful evening for us. Everyone raved about the food- it was both beautiful and delicious (both what was on the buffet and the vegetarian options prepared for a few of our guests! As someone else mentioned, make sure your head count is as accurate as possible. Don't want to throw food out or pay for more than is eaten! They did a great job working with our vendors, helping make sure everything went smoothly. Because they do so many events, there are really strict time limits on when you get in and out. They were somewhat flexible with us, but there were definitely things they didn't flex on, because they don't have to. It didn't leave a bad taste in our mouth or anything, and we understand they have to make choices to help things go smoothly for them too. We would definitely use them again!

Faith at Log Haven was a gem throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was extremely responsive, polite and patient to my many emails and questions and knew that I was in a different state which made it difficult to have face to face meetings most of the time. Faith was also very flexible when we would have to reschedule meetings or get a later start to rehearsal dinners, etc.
At the wedding, Faith, Ian and the entire Log Haven team were incredible. The professionalism and experience shows in how smoothly everything ran, even with some weather interruptions following the ceremony. The food and drinks were delicious, although I warn you both are expensive. But you get what you pay for and our guests still compliment us on how delicious everything was, how smoothly everything ran, how stunning the venue was, etc.
I cannot thank the Log Haven team enough for all that they did to make my special day perfect!

Great place!! Straight out of a fairytale book. Very easy to work. The only recommendation-watch out for booking during "peak" wedding months. Our day 091011 was in high demand and it seemed our venue was over booked. To the point that I could only show up at a certain time and "no earlier"...it worked out well in the end but be careful.

We LOVED having our wedding at Log Haven! It is so incredibly beautiful and the staff was so helpful and kind. Overall, our wedding was even better than we had dreamed and we could not be more grateful. We only had a few small areas of concern, and the main one was in regards to the cocktail hour. Apparently Utah law prohibits having any alcoholic beverages away from the main dinner tables, but we were not made aware of this until the time of the actual cocktail hour. Luckily, our coordinator was very kind and willing to work with us in regards to this issue. We realize that the law is out of their control, we just would have appreciated a heads up prior to the day of. Again, overall we would highly recommend having a wedding at Log Haven and the scenery can't be beat!

Beautiful Venue for Winter Wedding
We got married at Log Haven in January and had a great experience. Casey helped coordinate everything and our day was perfect. All of our guests complimented the venue and food, which tasted amazing. The indoor space was perfect and cozy for our smaller, ~60 person wedding.
