About this venue
Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and surrounded by natural beauty, Millcreek Inn is a picturesque wedding venue. The inn was first built in the 1950s and has been hosting milestone events since 1999. Offering a setting for mountain celebrations, it is still conveniently located within 20 minutes of downtown Salt Lake City. For added convenience, guests from out-of-town can fly into the nearby Salt Lake City International Airport. Owner Sina Moatamed inherited this property from his brother in 2015 and strives to continue his legacy of hosting unforgettable events. Couples can host their engagement party and rehearsal dinner here, as well as their ceremony and reception. We are proud to say that we were voted Utah's #1 LGBTQ Wedding Venue!
Facilities and Capacity
Millcreek Inn accommodates weddings with a maximum of 160 ceremony/seated reception guests and 200 flowing reception guests, and it also welcomes more intimate gatherings. It is a private venue, adding an air of exclusivity to the one event it hosts per day. Included in the venue area are four event spaces, both indoor and outdoor. The patio for outdoor wedding ceremonies is enhanced by the majestic peaks and cliffs of the surrounding canyon, alongside lovingly manicured gardens. This picturesque backdrop is complemented by a rustic bar and flagstone verandas. This outdoor setting can be made more comfortable for the winter months with a tent and outdoor heaters. A section of the patio is reserved for music and dancing. Before reaching the indoor banquet halls, guests enter through a cozy pre-function area that has comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a convenient bar. The event spaces are softly illuminated by wall sconces, highlighting the rustic wooden beams and large fireplaces. Couples can rent all of the event spaces, including the patio and the halls' outdoor seating area, to seat up to 160 loved ones.
Services Offered
Weddings at Millcreek Inn are enhanced by the plentiful amenities offered by the events team. Coordination services are offered by the events team, while the cuisine is supplied by the talented in-house chef and their team. To-be-weds can choose from a number of creative menus or design their own from scratch. Servers are available to help the meal run smoothly Event rental items are also available, including seating, round tables, lighting, and sound equipment. The patio is outfitted with a seven-foot wooden arbor that can be further decorated with flowers and draping to frame your magical moment.

We meant to write you sooner but we jumped back into work after getting back to Joshua Tree! We wanted to thank you for everything. The day was perfect and you were amazing. Thank you for all that you did and for truly investing your time and care into our wedding! We really appreciate you, MillCreek Inn, the chef and your whole team. SO many people said it was the best wedding food they’ve had! Imagine that! Everyone saying a vegan menu was the best they’ve had! It was delicious, I’m dreaming of the lentils right now haha. Everyone talked about how amazing you were and could tell you really cared. We hope your team had a good time as well! Maybe we will run into you on one of our hikes by then venue when we return to Utah ❤️

Memory, Thank you
I was drawn by the greenery and cozy atmosphere the venue gave, plus the fairly lights after the sun went down was another icing on the cake.
Our wedding at Millcreek Inn was a dream come true. I cannot thank Memory enough for all her hard work. She went as far as renting an extra Porta potty to accommodate our large guests. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.

A Wedding Dream Come True!
Something I really enjoyed about Millcreek was that they provided a lot of décor, so we didn't need to worry about buying any decorations. The only thing we bought to add to the space were some flowers and signs/pictures we wanted up. They provided everything else including table cloths and napkins, lantern centerpieces, several cute signs, easels for the signs we brought, and the most incredible outdoor fairy lights! It was such a relief to have that all provided to us, as well as set up and cleaned up by Millcreek's staff.
Another huge plus for this venue is the amazing food! It's been six months since we got married there (October 2023) and our wedding guests are still raving about the food! Several people told me it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and though I may be biased, I have to agree with them. You often get told that as the bride, you don't actually get to eat on your wedding day, but I had a great bridesquad who made sure I ate dinner and it was truly wonderful. The open bar was also pretty fantastic. ;)
We highly recommend Millcreek Inn for its stunning views, gorgeous building, super fun dance floor, delicious food (not to mention all of the different menu and bar options), excellent staff, and its affordable price. We looked at a couple other outdoor venues in SLC, and Millcreek was the best price by far and still offered everything the other venues did. This was truly a wonderful experience and we couldn't be happier that we got married at Millcreek Inn!
Magicial Mountain Wedding!
Keijah was so awesome to work with - very down-to-earth, professional, kind, organized, and fun. She was very easy to communicate with and very responsive, and really gave us peace of mind. We had complete trust in her that everything was taken care of, and that alone is invaluable. All of the staff were great as well.
The venue is absolutely beautiful - it was the perfect, magical mountain wedding venue of our dreams! We had 75 guests and it felt like the perfect size. The grounds are beautifully kept - there are gorgeous flowers everywhere, and everything is nice, clean, and on theme. The backdrop view of the mountains and trees is unbeatable. At night, everything lit up with gorgeous string lights that really added to the romantic/party vibe. The dance floor is the perfect size, and has a little raised deck a step above it for the DJ to set up on.
All the food and drinks were AMAZING, and there are tons of choices to pick from. Inside is a nice rustic lodge feel, including nice fireplaces to add to the vibe. It also has a brides room and grooms room which were super convenient and fun to get ready in. Parking was easy.
We had the time of our lives on our wedding day and truly picked the perfect venue. We would choose it again and again! Thank you Millcreek Inn!

When my friends and clients ask for a venue that is outdoors and elegant, Millcreek Inn is one of the first that comes to mind. Not too far up the canyon and easily accessible, just far enough to drown out the city noise and view. The in-house chef is amazing and the food is fabulous. The staff are attentive and events always run smoothly.
