Hi Memory!
We meant to write you sooner but we jumped back into work after getting back to Joshua Tree! We wanted to thank you for everything. The day was perfect and you were amazing. Thank you for all that you did and for truly investing your time and care into our wedding! We really appreciate you, MillCreek Inn, the chef and your whole team. SO many people said it was the best wedding food they’ve had! Imagine that! Everyone saying a vegan menu was the best they’ve had! It was delicious, I’m dreaming of the lentils right now haha. Everyone talked about how amazing you were and could tell you really cared. We hope your team had a good time as well! Maybe we will run into you on one of our hikes by then venue when we return to Utah ❤️

Memory, Thank you

We attended a friend's wedding at Millcreek Inn and instantly knew we wanted to have our wedding there as well.
I was drawn by the greenery and cozy atmosphere the venue gave, plus the fairly lights after the sun went down was another icing on the cake.
Our wedding at Millcreek Inn was a dream come true. I cannot thank Memory enough for all her hard work. She went as far as renting an extra Porta potty to accommodate our large guests. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.
Let's talk about how AMAZING the food was. 10/10
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Overall our experience at Millcreek Inn was wonderful.
I would definitely recommend this venue for an outside wedding or any other event. Months later my wedding is still the talk in town.
Thank you to Memory and her team for being an amazing host and helping us on our big day.

Dream Wedding!

Our wedding at Millcreek Inn was absolutely perfect!! The food was amazing, the service, and the ambience. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, and the intimate setting with all the trees was straight out of a fairytale!! If we could have another wedding, we would do it here in a heartbeat!

A Wedding Dream Come True!

Millcreek Inn was an intensely beautiful spot to have our wedding, but what really made it stand out was its incredible staff. We worked very closely with Keijah Imboden, Event and Service Coordinator at Millcreek, who made our wedding day the best it could possibly be. We booked the venue about a year in advance, and she corresponded with us the entire time, answering our MANY questions through email, phone calls, video calls, and numerous visits to Millcreek. She was so fun to work with and provided not only knowledge and resources, but a genuine care and kindness. She helped us feel taken care of and far less worried about things than we would have been without her. You'll see her in one of the photos helping with my dress as I walked down the aisle! (:

Something I really enjoyed about Millcreek was that they provided a lot of décor, so we didn't need to worry about buying any decorations. The only thing we bought to add to the space were some flowers and signs/pictures we wanted up. They provided everything else including table cloths and napkins, lantern centerpieces, several cute signs, easels for the signs we brought, and the most incredible outdoor fairy lights! It was such a relief to have that all provided to us, as well as set up and cleaned up by Millcreek's staff.

Another huge plus for this venue is the amazing food! It's been six months since we got married there (October 2023) and our wedding guests are still raving about the food! Several people told me it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and though I may be biased, I have to agree with them. You often get told that as the bride, you don't actually get to eat on your wedding day, but I had a great bridesquad who made sure I ate dinner and it was truly wonderful. The open bar was also pretty fantastic. ;)

We highly recommend Millcreek Inn for its stunning views, gorgeous building, super fun dance floor, delicious food (not to mention all of the different menu and bar options), excellent staff, and its affordable price. We looked at a couple other outdoor venues in SLC, and Millcreek was the best price by far and still offered everything the other venues did. This was truly a wonderful experience and we couldn't be happier that we got married at Millcreek Inn!

Great Experience

Magicial Mountain Wedding!

We had the time of our lives on our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier with Millcreek Inn!

Keijah was so awesome to work with - very down-to-earth, professional, kind, organized, and fun. She was very easy to communicate with and very responsive, and really gave us peace of mind. We had complete trust in her that everything was taken care of, and that alone is invaluable. All of the staff were great as well.

The venue is absolutely beautiful - it was the perfect, magical mountain wedding venue of our dreams! We had 75 guests and it felt like the perfect size. The grounds are beautifully kept - there are gorgeous flowers everywhere, and everything is nice, clean, and on theme. The backdrop view of the mountains and trees is unbeatable. At night, everything lit up with gorgeous string lights that really added to the romantic/party vibe. The dance floor is the perfect size, and has a little raised deck a step above it for the DJ to set up on.

All the food and drinks were AMAZING, and there are tons of choices to pick from. Inside is a nice rustic lodge feel, including nice fireplaces to add to the vibe. It also has a brides room and grooms room which were super convenient and fun to get ready in. Parking was easy.

We had the time of our lives on our wedding day and truly picked the perfect venue. We would choose it again and again! Thank you Millcreek Inn!

Fantastic Venue

Highly Recommend

Everyone at Millcreek Inn was an absolute joy to work with. They made the entire wedding planning process so easy and stress free. They were always super responsive to emails if I had any questions or updates which I really appreciated. The venue itself is beautiful and they have a lot of basic items in storage on the premises so if you need basic items like an easel or a card box, they've got you and you wont have a million items left over after the wedding that you now need to figure out how to get rid of.

June 2023 wedding

I normally don’t write reviews but I have to with Millcreek Inn. This is the most magical setting for a wedding. It’s beautiful. I was so impressed with the staff and keijah. Their attention to detail was impressive. They thought if everything. I thought I needed a wedding coordinator but they had everything so organized, they had a schedule that was perfect, they kept to the schedule. We didn’t have to worry or think about much besides choosing the menu. And the food was amazing. We ordered steak and salmon but it had an amazing sauce, delicious veggies, something for the carnivores, pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans! And a gluten free dinner. They even thought to bring the bridal couple a plated dinner each to their table. Thank you Millcreek inn.

Beyond our expectations!

Millcreek Inn was the perfect choice for our intimate wedding with about 60 guests.
This venue is beyond beautiful and even though we had some spring rain it was nothing but wonderful!

Keijah did an amazing job communicating with us before our big day and Tara and her team helped us so so much on our wedding day and made everything easy and enjoyable.

Tara and her staff made sure that we didn’t have to worry about anything. She made sure the schedule was followed and we had everything we needed. We just had to be there and enjoy our day!

The food was delicious as well and every single member of the staff was extremely nice!

The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue and wedding day for us.

Great venue!

Absolutely perfect!!

Millcreek Inn is absolutely gorgeous! The pine trees, the lighting just everything about it was amazing! The staff were very professional and very helpful on the big day and they did an excellent job at coordinating the event! It was the best experience!

In the middle of nature

We attended an event that was not a wedding but we both talked about what a great place it would be for our children's wedding. Less than a half hour up a beautiful and majestic canyon and we felt isolated in an idyllic and genuine rustic "church" in the middle of true nature.

This is an ideal place to have your wedding ceremony and reception!

The venue is beautiful and tucked into the canyon where there are plenty of trees for shade on a typically hot July afternoon. They have a wonderfully decorated venue already with a lot of flowers and plants, we didn’t need to add much to make it our own.

Our wedding coordinators were there for us through the planning process for the year leading up to our ceremony and reception. They helped us outline a schedule, provide guidance on decisions and keep everything on track during the ceremony.

The other staff members were very friendly and great to help get everything setup, serve dinner, dessert and take care of our guests. The food and desserts were fantastic, our guests had great things to say about the food and the venue. We can’t forget our bartender who was on point with all our requests and very friendly as well.

We can’t thank you enough for all the hard work and helping to make our special day something to remember for a lifetime!

Beautiful venue

We loved this venue!

When we were looking for a venue our friends recommend Millcreek Inn after their son had his wedding there. Once we went and saw the venue we new it was exactly what we were looking for. There was a mix up with booking the original date we wanted but Keijah made it right once all was said and done. Throughout the process Keijah and Hannah always responded to our emails in a timely manner and working throughout the process with them was great. Some of the reasons we fell in love with Millcreek:
* The outdoor atmosphere
* The indoor space was just as beautiful
* Both dressing rooms were filled with food and drinks that we requested
* The food was amazing!!
* The staff the day of was amazing!
All of our friends family couldn't stop talking about the food and the venue after our wedding.

fire on wedding day? no problem at Millcreek Inn

Best wedding venue, hands down. The team at Millcreek Inn is so accommodating and definitely listens to what the bride and groom wants and makes it happen. Both coordinators, Hannah and Keijah, were amazing. They truly made sure everything went smoothly and kept us on schedule. The views at Millcreek Inn are so beautiful and we had so many compliments on the venue. I need to give a shoutout to the bartender Cody too. She did AMAZING and was so kind to myself and my husband. We had our wedding the day that the fire in Parleys summit broke out and she helped calm my husbands nerves when he was the only one at the venue and heard that people were getting stopped at the entrance of the canyon. Luckily we were all allowed up and were able to celebrate!! 10/10 for Millcreek Inn!

Magical day

My wedding was magical, and a big part of the reason why is this venue. The venue is beautiful and intimate. It felt like we were in the beauty of a national park. The food was delicious, and not at all stressful because they handled the catering. Their wedding planners sat us down at the beginning of the process to capture our vision, and tell us what we needed to be doing when in order to make this happen. I was not at all confident about planning a wedding, but the planners helped us figure out what we wanted and helped it become a reality. The wedding day at the venue could not have gone smoother. Later I found out the employees were handling small problems before I even noticed. This enabled me to relax, focus on the vows I was making and my love for my partner, and focus on our guests.

If you go with any other venue - you're missing out!

We will never forget our wedding and that is due to the professionalism and all around helpfulness of Millcreek Inn staff. They were with us every step of the way and were so quick to respond to our questions. When we changed our minds on certain aspects of our wedding day of, they quickly worked with us to make it happen. Keija was especially helpful in keeping us on schedule during the event, but always reminded us it was our day and we were welcome to move things around. The venue itself is beautiful, we had Millcreek use their own table linens and lanterns for the tables. It was done so well and we were so grateful they offered that to us as we wanted to save money where we could. We do not have a single negative thing to say. Everything was absolutely perfect and I would recommend it to every and any couple!

Amazing and beautiful venue

The Perfect Venue

Hannah did such an amazing job helping me get my wedding day absolutely perfect! The wedding was beautiful and the staff did such an amazing job with all the small details I requested. They've truly outdone themselves and I couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out.
Hannah gave clear instructions for everyone so everything was right on time and she broke down every question we had in detail so there was no doubt in anyone's mind. Zero stress! She was right there with anything my spouse and I needed. I highly recommend this place!

My dream wedding!

Hannah, the event coordinator was SO helpful. Especially during these difficult times. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is definitely more stressful than normal wedding planning, and we ended up needing to reschedule. Hannah made it easy, and was so prompt to respond and keep me on a good schedule. She helped coordinate with all of my vendors, so the day of was SO easy! I was able to fully enjoy my day, and let me tell you, it was absolutely PERFECT! They took extra precautions to make sure our guests were as safe as possible, and the staff was so professional and organized, it was a breeze. Thank you, Millcreek Inn, for making my dream wedding come true, even through a global pandemic. That is some serious customer service, and you won't be sorry booking with them. Take it from a covid bride- you NEED these guys to take the added stress off!

Best outdoor fall season venue for wedding

We love this place it was beautiful the tree colors and temperatures were awesome in early October. Coordinator was very professional and very flexible with our last minute changes which made our day special. Everything match with our colors and just beautiful wedding overall we were very satisfied.

Perfection!

I have nothing but great things to say about Millcreek Inn. I immediately fell in love with the venue when I first arrived on my tour. The space is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful mountains and framed by trees strung with romantic white lights. It doesn't matter what time of the year it is, every season is magical in its own way and they are able to accommodate any type of weather.

Hannah, the event coordinator, has been an absolute joy to work with. I had so many questions and was constantly emailing her with every detail and she was so kind and responsive. Not once did she make me feel like I was being a nuisance with my questions. She offered support when I had to postpone my wedding due to Covid and I had no doubt that I could rely on her to make sure the day goes smoothly. Trust me when I say having a day of coordinator is so worth it and they really know what they're doing. The staff is really special and they go above and beyond to make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch.

Wedding of my dreams

Everything was perfect!

Millcreek did an amazing job with our wedding! We had so many questions and they were always answered very quickly for us. The chef did an amazing job making all of our food vegan. Everybody loved it! We had so much help the day of with setting everything up and making sure everything was ready to go for the big day! We got so many compliments saying the whole place looked “magical.” Honestly, it was magical for us too. Everything was perfect and they helped play such a big role in making that happen. I could not thank them enough for making our day so special for us. So if you have the chance and love the scenery, you have to go with a Millcreek Inn! You won’t regret it!

Wow - The Best Venue!

We can't say enough about how wonderful Millcreek Inn was for our wedding this June. CJ helped out vision come to life, and she executed it beyond our wildest expectations. Something we heard from numerous guests was, "This was the best wedding food we've ever had!" The food was delicious, wait and bar staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. We had about 100 guests, and everyone raved about every detail. We couldn't be happier or recommend Millcreek Inn more highly. Thank you to CJ and everyone at Millcreek Inn for our perfect night!

Perfect Venue

Millcreek Inn was a fantastic place for our wedding! Our coordinator, CJ, and the entire team were fantastic and catered to our every need. We planned our own wedding, so we were looking for a venue that would take care of as many details as possible, and Millcreek Inn did not disappoint. CJ and the team handled basically everything - set-up, take-down, staffing, food and drink service, cake-cutting and serving, and so much more. Their in-house catering was priced similarly to other caterers in town, and was absolutely fabulous - way above the quality of typical wedding food. And on top of all that, the venue is absolutely gorgeous! It requires so little by way of decoration because it is already so beautiful, which is great if you're on a budget. I had multiple people tell me during and after the wedding that Millcreek Inn was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen. And I'm a little biased, but I agree. Thanks Millcreek Inn!

Best Wedding Venue Ever!

Words cannot express my gratitude for Kenna and her amazing team at Millcreek Inn. My wedding was literally perfect. There were so many things I hadn’t even thought of when I initially planned my event, and without Kenna’s coordination, it would have been a disaster. I can only imagine all the work she did behind the scenes so that I could just relax and enjoy my big day.

The food is truly exquisite, and the venue is like stepping in to a fairy tale. I would recommend Millcreek Inn a hundred times over to anyone looking to have their own perfect wedding.

A wonderful experience

Kenna at Millcreek Inn has the talents of peace, calm and organization. We had a beautiful wedding and dinner The staff was amazing to help with any of our set up and went above and beyond. The venue is gorgeous, the people incredibly kind and accommodating and knew exactly what to do to make the evening perfect Only downside was it got cold fast but they hustled out with patio heaters Thank you to Kaylee, Chef Valenzuela, Kenquan, Tommie, Maggie, Hannah And Kenquan carries a cake :) like a super hero

Wedding of a Lifetime

Millcreek Inn was everything we could have wanted in a venue and more. They were so helpful in planning every minute of our day so we didn't have to worry about anything. They even played music for us on their personal cell phones when our DJs computer wasn't working! Millcreek has the most beautiful grounds that made for breathtaking wedding photos. Dream day!

I got married at Millcreek Inn October 2003. The day I’d live over & over again if I could. An absolute dream in every way. 💫 The staff was amazing & so attentive. They took such good care of me & all our guests. The ambiance was warm, & welcoming...it truly just felt like home. People still tell me to this day that it was their favorite wedding they’ve ever been too. Magic through & through! I’d highly recommend this wonderful venue to anyone.

Wedding attendee

I attended a friends wedding here in May last year and it was beautiful. I loved the venue so much I looked into it for my own wedding but have since moved out of state but if I as still in Utah this would be my number one choice.

Love this place - and the staff too.

Millcreek Inn....what can we say but absolutely incredible. The setting is gorgeous but the staff makes this place hum like a well oiled machine. They made us feel like we were the only wedding on their books, they were that attentive. They have plenty of referrals for vendors....use them because only the best resources with superior service and quality get on their referral list. Our wedding in late September happened to be the only weekend it had rained in weeks but not to worry Kate had everything under control. The Wedding went on without a hitch and it couldn't have been more beautiful. The venue is perfect, the food is excellent. Kate is very accommodating, stayed in communication with us and all of our vendors. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Millcreek Inn was an amazing venue. Kate was so helpful from start to finish. She made everything incredibly easy for us. Excellent communication and no surprises. We were planning our wedding from California and were a bit nervous this would complicate things, but Kate was really helpful and coordinated with us and with my parents who live nearby. My husband and I got married here in early June and could not in a million years have dreamed up a better experience. The venue is absolutely gorgeous - I almost had to pinch myself as I was looking up at the mountains between the pine trees and the fairy lights and the arbor and dance floor to know that it was real. It's the perfect setting for an outdoor mountain wedding. Not only that, but the staff was amazing, thoughtful and so helpful. The whole team was great, but Kate, our coordinator at Millcreek Inn, deserves a special shout-out for everything she did to give us the most incredible day ever. Not only did she help us make sure we were planning for every detail in advance. she was there behind the scenes on the big day making sure everything got carried out as planned. It's because of her that we were able to sit back and enjoy the day completely stress-free! I can't recommend Millcreek Inn highly enough!

Sage and Tina...what can I say? These ladies are the best! Our wedding at Millcreek Inn was a fairy tale and was by far the best wedding that our friends and family have attended. We have received nothing but wonderful feedback out the venue and the services provided. Sage kept me calm on the big day, organized everything, and even helped me bustle my dress when my mom and maid of honor were struggling. She is amazing. My husband and I are forever grateful.

If you are trying to decide between Millcreek Inn and Log Haven, definitely go with Millcreek Inn! You'll have a much more intimate and exclusive experience. Plus the staff was more accommodating to personalized requests and service overall.

We visited only a few venue's and instantly fell in love with Millcreek Inn. It is located in our favorite canyon to drive through and hike. We had a different coordinator at the beginning of our engagement, but ended up having Sage be our coordinator for the day. She was on top of everything. Made sure our guests were taken care of, the ceremony went off without a hitch, and she was so great to my husband and myself the whole day. Everything ran very smooth which I was appreciative of. We chose the sliders for the meal and it was DELICIOUS!!! We continue to have people comment on our food and the venue. The lighting was so romantic and more than I could have imagined it would be. They kept the party flowing very smoothly and all of our guests had a great time. One of my favorite parts of the venue is the fact you have to search out the WIFI password for your phone. It was nice knowing that our guests were very present and it kept people from just coming and taking off. We had the best wedding and I would do it all over again!!! Millcreek was beyond beautiful and they really helped us throw an amazing party! Thank you again Sage for everything you did to make our special day perfect!

You could not ask for better! This is not just a venue; this is a caterer and a wedding coordinator, as well. The food is well worth the money (it is phenomenal) and the service from the staff is top notch. There is a wonderful variety of food options from brunch to plated dinner to buffet style. We chose the sliders buffet with 3 different types of sliders, and they were all amazing. The only complaint anyone had was about the carrots from one of the crudite trays--they were a little floppy and flavorless--but otherwise, everyone RAVED about the food.

I would like to rave about the service, though. We had a butler-passed toast with martinelli's sparkling cider, and everyone received their glass in time for the first toast. We also had a soda bar for "mocktails" and the bartender was very friendly and happy to make suggestions. The coordinators were most impressive. The DJ had not shown up by the start time of 5:30 and the coordinators made me aware of the situation. Not only that, but they were prepared with my ceremony music already in hand. They let me know that if the DJ no-showed, that they could have an i-Pod set up and that they would have someone emcee things like toasts and cake cutting. They took care of communication between me and the DJ (when they finally showed up), as well as other vendors and guests.

The venue was BEAUTIFUL and they allowed me to decorate with my own stuff, which made my wedding the most amazingly beautiful wedding I could have asked for. I would give Millcreek Inn and the staff and coordinators a hundred stars if I could. They truly worked hard to make my night magical. And it truly was a magical night!

*note, the amount I spent was for the venue, as well as catering for 60 people (appetizers, soda bar, sliders buffet, and butler-passed toast). Also, fyi, the staff of the venue does the cake cutting at no extra cost, which was SO helpful for a bride on a budget!

We held our ceremony and reception at Millcreek Inn. The place was set up exactly how I had envisioned it.. it's almost as though Sage was inside my head envisioning it with me. The staff was extremely pleasant, helpful and professional. They truly went out of their way to make the day special and to make sure we enjoyed every moment, right down to boxing up some of the amazing food we had missed out on, so we could enjoy it later..

From beginning to end, my husband and I had the perfect winter wedding, thanks to Millcreek Inn and the amazing staff! The whole planning process went so much better than I could've expected. I planned our whole wedding while living out of state and the entire staffing team was so helpful. They got back to me quickly and were very helpful and professional when answering my questions. Nicole was especially helpful, a god send, who helped us flawlessly move through the actual wedding day! This location was everything we hoped it would be and more--perfect winter wedding setting. The food was INCREDIBLE! We simply could not have asked for more from a wedding venue. Friends and family all took note of how wonderfully everything went and how flawlessly the venue transitioned from ceremony to reception. We are deeply grateful for Millcreek and their role in our perfect day!

I went in Log Haven with an appointment and hated it. They rushed and had no care for my service, they booked the date I wanted when I had confirm the whole week before to make sure it was available before I drove up. As I was coming down the canyon, Millcreek Inn was there and decided to stop with no appointment. Tina and Nikki both introduced themselves to me, my mother and mother-in-law. They took an hour with us to discuss the venue, food, etc. They gave us a tour and because of the time and service they were willing to provide and reassurance that they could handle a group of 200 made me feel a lot better. After that I had a hard time looking at venues cause I knew by then that I wanted Millcreek Inn. I booked with them a week later and I can't wait to coordinate with them and have my wedding there. They are flexible and are great communicators. They are super helpful and know how to make a bride and groom not stress and having us be happy.

Nicole was so willing to work with me on every detail and really helped my wedding dream come to life- I wanted to keep my costs down and do alot of personalized touches and she was so supportive and helped me present everything from our handmade center pieces to pictures of our dog in a professional but personal way. She was SO helpful in the planning process- I had never planed a wedding before and she made sure to cover every detail with me so I felt prepared but not overwhelmed. The day of, everything was perfect, we had the venue for the entire morning, even though our ceremony wasnt till the evening, and she was there to to help us get ready and do last minuet stuff- she was SO wonderful in every way! The wedding venue is also to die for- it was like getting married in an enchanted forest. So many of our guest commented that it was the best, most fun wedding they had ever been to and we are so grateful to Millcreek for helping us create that!

I live in Las Vegas, but I am from Salt Lake City. I visited the venue and fell in love with it. I did almost all of my planning from out of state and the new coordinators (Nicole and Tina) were always very helpful and quick to respond. They made it easy to plan everything and were very accommodating. Guests were commenting about the delicious food along with how beautiful the venue was. A cold front came in the weekend of our wedding and Nicole called me a few days prior to discuss putting up a tent to help hold in heat for guests during dinner. They usually charge, but didn't in this case due to the unexpected weather change and we really appreciated that. The bartenders were very friendly and made sure to take care of everyone all night long. Nicole did a great job at keeping everything on schedule. One negative is the venue grounds are finished in uneven slate pavers so that makes it hard for women in heels to walk because it's uneven. My bridesmaids were stressing about that and one of them tripped during the rehearsal. The other negative is they currently only have one tasting per year (usually in April if I remember correctly) so that made it hard for us living out of state. We ended up not being able to make it and just blindly chose what to serve from reading it off of their menu, which worked out for us. Everything was absolutely delicious. They don't charge a cake cutting fee, when many venues do and when you book the venue you get it for the entire day so you can decorate early or do whatever you need. Overall, this venue was everything I hoped it would be. The staff is friendly, professional and really great at what they do. I would recommend Millcreek to anyone wanting an outdoor wedding venue. If I could do it all over again I would choose Millcreek every time!

From the moment we first went to see the Millcreek Inn, I knew it was the place for us. Our daughter wanted an outdoor reception and it was perfect! Surrounded by trees and mountains and stars, the setting was stunning. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. I can't say enough good about the helpful and responsive staff and the amazing evening we spent there. During the entire event it was obvious that their whole objective was to make the evening run as smoothly and stress-free as possible for us. Anything unexpected that came up was responded with "no problem, don't even think about it - let us take care of it!". This is exactly what the mother of the bride needs to hear! We want to thank Tina for her help in the planning and executing of the event, the chefs and servers who were professional and friendly, and all those who made our day perfect. I have had many (not just a few) friends tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! My husband tells everyone that it was absolutely worth every penny! Thanks Millcreek Inn! Thank God for Millcreek Inn. I originally booked my wedding at Log Haven, but was then notified that they had double-booked their venue. Rather than being interested in working with me and fixing their mistake, the people at Log Haven simply said "sorry but there is nothing I can do" and hung up on me. I went into panic mode and looked for any venue that was still available on my date, as friends and family had already booked their travel arrangements. Fortunately, Millcreek Inn was able to make themselves available for me on short notice. The venue turned out to be better than I believe I would have gotten at Log Haven. I know with certainty that the food was better, and the venue was beautiful. I worked with Niki, who was great as a wedding coordinator and made sure I had a great experience. We chose Millcreek Inn for our August 24th wedding and couldn't be happier. We continue to get compliments about how beautiful it was, and a few of our friends are thinking about using it as their venue after attending our wedding. Ali was great to work with and all the arrangements were easy to make. They were wonderfully attentive to all of our needs setting up the reception, as well as throughout the night. We couldn't have asked for a more charming setting. The food was also delicious - definitely a wonderful bonus. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, easy to work with, beautiful venue - this is the place.

My daughter's wedding was September 6, 2014. It was great to be in the mountains when they said their vows. The staff at Millcreek was wonderful. Lori, Jessica, and Jeremy were so attentive and helpful. Lori helped the wedding party to be in proper order for the processional. She even told them how fast to walk, which was great. Lori setup the donut tower so I wouldn't have to worry about that. Jeremy was prompt at the bar getting the guests the drinks they wanted. Jessica was in charge of the buffet and it was beautiful. She was so attentive to the guests' needs. The food was great. Several of the guests commended about the beauty of the venue and were so impressed with the staff. My daughter and her husband had a wonderful time and that is what mattered the most to me. I would recommend this venue for the setting, the staff, and the professionalism. It was beautiful.

I can not speak highly enough of the Sason and his staff at Millcreek. He was attentive, helpful, gracious and wonderful to work with as well as his staff. I had booked Millcreek prior to doing my research and I had read some unpleasant reviews that made me apprehensive about my venue choice. I regret every doubt I had. The day started out very windy and ended up being absolutely beautiful and perfect. Thank you Sason and Millcreek staff for making my wedding day and absolute dream.

My wedding was a two days after a heavy blizzard in January 2013. To say I was afraid that things would go wrong is an understatement, especially since I what planned the wedding from ‘oversees’ with Mill creek Inn staff over the phone! and half of my guests were arriving from outside Utah. But the Mill Creek Inn staff were remarkable, they welcomed us warmly, assured me that there was nothing to worry about, the flowers and decorations that I had only spoken about were beautifully displayed, the heaters worked keeping us all warm in the freezing temperatures, the meal was out of this world and the service, most impeccable. Millcreek Inn gave me memories that I will cherish forever, they took care of me and became my loving extended family for that night. The attention they paid to me and my guests was comparable to non. How do you say thank you for such a priceless gift?

I recently had my ring ceremony and reception at Millcreek Inn. They did an amazing job and really made my day perfect. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. They worked with my family and bridal party during set up so the flowers and decorations were beautiful. I highly recommend going with Millcreek. I was so excited to have my wedding at Millcreek Inn beacuse I have spent so much of my life playing in Millcreek Canyon. I read some negative reviews about the staff at Millcreek Inn and I just have to say that my expereince could not have been more positive. Not only do I think that the staff was responsive and helpful but I would go as far as saying that the service was some of the best I have seen and I work in the (restaraunt) service business. I highly recommend Millcreek Inn for your wedding or event. On September 18th my husband and I had the best experience of our lives. The canyon was beautiful and the venue had everything we had hoped for (privacy, only one event at a time, landscaping, twinkle lights,etc.). Sasan and the staff were attentive and professional. We were warned in advance that the weather would be cooler, so we were offered a tent and heaters. The food was amazing and the ambiance was comfortable and romantic. I am thrilled that we chose to have a beautiful outdoor wedding instead of the usual stuffy, indoor, cold reception hall. Thank you Millcreek Inn for making our day so special!

Millcreek Inn is a beautiful venue! I don't normally write reviews, but I had to express my gratitude toward the staff at Millcreek Inn for taking so much time and energy and going the extra mile to make my wedding day spectacular. I could not have asked for a better team by my side. When I realized that I forgot my flower girl baskets, they were on top of it with spare baskets. Anything I could have needed was waiting for me in the bridal suite from bobby pins to hairspray! Sesan and his team were flawless with the execution of my ceremony, and the chef offered my guests the most delicious dinner service and OMG THE DESSERT BUFFET was spectacular. Sesan helped to plan every detail with me. I also recommend using their preferred vendors (they are the best of the best, or atleast I think so!) Thank you Millcreek for making my wedding day so memorable. I wish I could do it all over again!!!!

This was me dream wedding! I can't think of anything that I would have wanted to to or happen differently. Millcreek Inn was amazing, they listened to what I wanted and actually made it happen. Everything was so beautiful. All of my guest were very impressed and said that this was hands down the best wedding they've seen. My family said it was so beautiful and fun it should have been on t.v! I will be telling everyone about Millcreek Inn and how perfect my wedding was there.

My wife and I live in Oklahoma and had to do essentially all of our planning over the phone. It was the first place we visited when looking for sites in Utah, and none compared. Sasan, Raquel, and Jared were excellent and responsive, very easy to work with. The food was amazing and the views were beautiful. Our families were unsure why we wanted to marry in Utah until the arrived at the venue and were flabbergasted by the beauty of the facility and Mill Creek Canyon. Everyone was very impressed with the views, the food, the decorations, the sound, the staff and the isolation. There was not a single mishap and it went off flawless. What amazed me was we had two unaccounted for vegetarians and they were able to serve them vegan plates on the spot. Everyone was very professional and accommodating and I felt that it was important to the staff that our night was perfect. I would hands down recommend Mill Creek Inn to anyone.

Millcreek Inn is an awesome venue. Everyone that we worked with was friendly and extremely professional. They were always willing to accomodate any of our requests and were always there to offer advice when needed. I honestly believe that having Millcreek in as my venue is what kept me calm and happy my entire wedding day. I didn't have to worry about a thing! I received a lot of compliments for both the venue and the food. They were even willing to add some special menu items that I requested. The cake baker there created a beautiful cake that was equally delicious. Also, the in house florist was creative and truly listened to what I wanted. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

"This is the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen!" -Every one of our guests as they stepped on to Millcreek's patio during our wedding dinner.

PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. The staff was amazing! They did everything to help before, during and after the event. They even had an EMT on staff that saved the life of one of our guests who was choking.

The food was AMAZING. We had the pork tenderloin and when it was all over people were looking for more. Millcreek was so accommodating with late arrivals, additional guests, and last minute changes. The staff was attentive, proactive, and very responsive. When they saw something that needed to be done they took care of it.

Millcreek Canyon was the perfect setting for our wedding day, Millcreek Inn and the staff there made our wedding day PERFECT! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We planned our wedding from Texas and booked Millcreek Inn based only on what we web (mostly gathered from their website and wedding wire). The few bad reviews of the place made us a little nervous booking it from so far, but we went for it anyway and are so glad we did.
Ali was fantastic to work with! She was attentive and responsive and so planning from a distance was really easy. Also, mad props to her for just being tireless. She practically runs that place herself and I'm just really impressed.
We decorated as we wanted, and to a much greater extent than, I think, any wedding before. We also brought in a quartet and a DJ, as well as a lot of our own electric equipment and it all worked great. The one thing we were (initially) disappointed by was the lack of wifi and cell reception. We had to depend on the landline there for communication (which is fine, just no text messaging :) and we really wanted to livestream the wedding to our friends and family overseas. It ended up being a great thing, though, because everyone there was fully present. We were taking videos and pictures, but no one was concerned with uploading and tagging and commenting, and it brought a really special feel to the evening.
All in all, the wedding was fantastic. It turned out even more beautifully than we planned. The servers were great, and the food was delicious! I'm not used to wedding food being noteworthy, but I got a lot of feedback about how great the meal was (we had the chicken w/ prosciutto) and how delicious the juice was. Thank you to Jose and the cook staff!
One final thing that sets Millcreek apart from other venues: we had it the entire day. We arrived at 7 to start decorating and didn't leave until after 11 PM. Loved the freedom to do what we wanted with it and not be constrained by time.
We loved everything and the guests had a marvelous time. I highly recommend Millcreek.

I am SO happy we decided to get married at Millcreek Inn. The venue was absolutely stunning, the food was amazing, and all of the staff was so helpful. Weddings can be very stressful and chaotic but Hannah and her team were on top of it making sure everyone, including myself and my now husband, were comfortable.

Even though the weather was a little chilly, the tent and heaters helped keep us warm (although definitely recommend buying extra blankets just in case)! Hannah has tons of backup plans for any type of weather so try not to stress about it like I did (also sorry Hannah for all of the emails, you were so responsive and great - I honestly don't know how you deal with brides day in and day out)!

Definitely make sure to get up on the roof to take pictures and utilize their preferred vendors list! I also highly recommend hiring a transportation service like we did to bus people in and out of the canyon!

Dream Wedding

I can not say enough nice things about Millcreek Inn and the staff.
We had a winter wedding and it was magical. The staff took care of the details, even down to a specific brand of coffee for the bride. There were some molehills that came up and they handled it with a smile and grace. The staff was extremely responsive to my emails and calls.
The food??!! That was one of the first things guests commented on to me after the wedding - how delicious the food was.
If you are looking for a quaint, rustic, romantic, mountain ceremony and reception. Millcreek Inn is your destination!
We would use this venue again in a heartbeat

We had a beautiful wedding experience at the Millcreek inn! Millcreek specializes in weddings, and it really shows. Our event planner was Sage, a last minute change due to personnel changes, and she took very good care of us, picking up on the details quickly. We are incredibly grateful to Amber (who ran our event) and the entire staff! Despite a rainy day, we were able to make some last minute changes and instructions to accomodate the weather, and our guests were comfortable and welcomed. The food was fantastic! We did the sliders buffet....and we received so many compliments. The sliders were moist and had great sauces and toppings. Amber kept everything running smoothly, and the bartender was also super friendly. Our guests were having a lot of fun dancing, and the staff was very accomodating, making sure that the space was turned over quickly, and that we had everything we needed. Thank you everyone at Millcreek for an amazing evening!

We booked Millcreek Inn in January 2015, and didn't get married until June 2016. In that time, we had maybe two or three wedding coordinators due to staff turnover, which honestly made us a little nervous. As the wedding was about six months out, we started working with Kristal, who was an absolute delight. Being in another state, it was a bit tough to really get a vision of what to expect (as we had only seen the venue in the snow), but Kristal was SO helpful in answering all of my questions, and giving us great advice. The week of the wedding Kristal let us come and see the venue, we walked thru the timeline (which we had already done on the phone a few weeks earlier, but this definitely calmed my nerves), and was just extremely reassuring overall. The day of the wedding, Kristal and her staff were absolutely incredible. I honestly didn't worry one bit that afternoon and evening. The staff was so friendly and inviting, and Kristal was so helpful to our wedding party and family while I got ready. She kept everything running so smoothly, and if anything ever went wrong I never knew! And the venue itself was absolutely gorgeous. They converted the ceremony space to a reception space flawlessly, and as the sun went down they brought out a fire pit for guests to warm up around. The food was absolutely delicious (make sure to eat on your wedding day, ESPECIALLY when it's food from Millcreek), and the head chef even came out at the end of the night to ask if everything was good, and let us know it was an honor to provide the food for our special day. Before we knew it, the night was ending, and Kristal had gotten everything in our car and had everyone lined up for our exit. Make sure to take in the moment periodically throughout the night, especially at Millcreek Inn. The way the lights in the trees light up the venue as the sun goes down is magical, and the nature surrounding you in breathtaking. I will forever be thankful for Kristal and Millcreek Inn!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Millcreek Inn, and would highly recommend it!! The food was delish, Tina makes sure the bride and groom are fed too! The service was amazing! Very organized schedule! She will count every last person, but they are fair with pricing for such food and service! :)

The whole place has such charm and is perfectly woodsy and beautiful, especially in September! You will not be disappointed working with Millcreek Inn.

I would absolutely recommend Millcreek Inn!! It was perfect! We got married early September and held out ceremony there. The leaves were just starting to change higher up in the mountains and it was perfection. They do such a good job maintaining the grounds around the cute little cabin. Unlike some similar venues, we loved the privacy of this one. It’s an adorable little cottage looking place not far up the canyon (We placed a couple sparse signs down the canyon road so our guests would know where to go since service up by the venue is generally nonexistent). The staff was so friendly and willing to help out with everything. It made what could have been a super stressful day into a fairytale. My husband LOVED the food. He still talks about how amazing it was. Great Views + Awesome food + great staff. What else could you ask for? (I unfortunately have not received photos back from my photographer so you will just have to take me at my word)

I had the absolute most amazing wedding here in August 2015. Nicole, Tina and Jeremy were the best. My first correspondence with an old event coordinator in January of 2015 did not go smoothly but the new group and Nicole first and foremost superseded my expectations. Every need was taken care of from having an unexpected bottle of champagne and fruit/cheese platter in the bridal room to taking care of the unexpected rooster that decided to join our reception. Our guests could not say enough about how gorgeous the venue was, how attentive the servers were and how awesome the food was. Additional lights had been added to the trees the day of and man did it make a difference in the ambiance. I had a major allergic reaction in the middle of my reception and Nicole was by my side to help where she could. She was a gem. I know there have been some rough reviews in the past and I was concerned in the beginning but believe me the crew running this show now is spectacular.

We were very pleased with Millcreek Inn as our wedding venue. The building and grounds are beautiful, the staff were very friendly and professional, and the service was great. The food was amazing, and we still have family and friends commenting on it almost a year after the wedding. The only downside was that because of record snowfall, we were unable to use atent on teh patio as we had planned, which required last-minute rearranging of how we meant to do things. The staff dealt with everything wonderfully, though, and things went off without a hitch.

The staff at Millcreek Inn were very kind and accommodating to work with for our wedding reception. They decorated the tables as we asked, the food was delicious, and the setting of the venue up Millcreek Canyon is very difficult to beat. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a romantic, intimate setting for their wedding and/or reception.

I'm very glad we went with Millcreek Inn. Basically the only problems are potential bad weather (which they do their best to mitigate with a large tent) and the fact that it's hard to get any sense of how beautiful this venue really is until the mountains green up. They (we worked mostly with Krystal, who was great!) were very accommodating and basically just asked us about our plans and helped everything come together. Krystal was a huge help with arranging everyone in the ceremony, and overall Millcreek took all the work out of table setting, ceremony setup, and food. The food was also delicious - the slider buffet was super classy, and I'm really not kidding. My favorite things about the venue were the beautiful setting (there's also a great spot for pictures across the street) and the help with details of wedding planning. It was on the pricier side for us (but we were paying for our own wedding and had a hard limit of about 18,000 for everything), but I really do think it was worth it for the convenience and quality of all the services. If we'd had it in a park like we originally planned we would have had to rent tables, linens, chairs.... and the list just goes on. Millcreek was a wonderful venue.

This was the perfect venue for our wedding. Not only is the venue beautifully breathtaking but the entire staff at Millcreek Inn were very professional, easy to work with, and the food was amazing. You have the option to use their preferred vendors or decide on your own but we highly recommend using theirs. By doing this, our night was completely stress free. All the vendors (Salt Cake City, Peppernix, and Disc-Connection) were so comfortable working with the staff at Millcreek Inn which made our planning easy and made our wedding night run smoothly.We continue to receive complements about our wedding night and how perfect it was for my husband and I. It was truly an amazing night!

Mixed emotions

I’ve been hesitant to write this review. My husband and I booked Millcreek Inn in July 2019 for a June 2021 wedding. We ended up postponing to June 2022 due to COVID. Millcreek was very flexible and accommodating with that. We worked mostly with planner Hannah during the two years leading up to the wedding. About three weeks before the wedding, my day of coordinator and I had a virtual final planning meeting with Millcreek. We met with another Millcreek planner, Keijah because she said Hannah had a rehearsal scheduled at the same time. Keijah wasn’t very friendly on the call, kept looking at her phone, and seemed inconvenienced by some of the last minute questions we had including reviewing the tent policy again. I wasn’t too concerned because I figured we had everything planned with Hannah and everything would be fine. Two weeks before the wedding, I was raving about Millcreek and how amazing they had been. Six days before our wedding, we got an email from Keijah letting us know Hannah was no longer there, provided our final invoice (after I had to request it twice) and letting us know the tent should be down by the wedding day and she would keep us posted. I had emails from past communication with Hannah in what the tent policy was and since there was no bad weather leading up to or after our wedding day, the tent should be down. Two days before the wedding, we had not heard from Keijah. Finally our day of coordinator (thank God we hired her) got ahold of her and was told the tent would not be down. My husband called Keijah as well to better understand where the miscommunication was. She was rude, dismissive, and called us liars. Needless to say - a lot of stress that we didn’t need two days before our long awaited wedding. The day of our wedding, we were relieved that Keijah was not there. We had to change the lighting plan the morning of the wedding because the tent obstructed our original plans. Our Millcreek contact that day was Amber and she was outstanding. She was kind, professional, very helpful, and the complete opposite of Keijah. The bartender and serving staff were awesome! Keijah had written the wrong notes during the final planning meeting so there was a hiccup with the dessert set up but fortunately our day of coordinator saved the day. The food was excellent- several guests commented on how good it was. I would still recommend Millcreek Inn and we had a gorgeous wedding day. If you can avoid Keijah and work with Amber or someone else, you won’t be sorry.

Wonderful venue with amazing staff!

We absolutely loved holding our wedding at Millcreek Inn! From the moment we visited the venue to the moment we drove off as Husband and Wife, we knew this was the perfect place for us. Hannah was our coordinator, and she's the best! She happily answered all my many questions, and even gave her professional opinions on vendors and decoration items because I'm indecisive. She's so great that she volunteered her husband to be a waitstaff on our wedding day because they were short on staffing. Having a coordinator, and Hannah specifically, definitely made our day go smoothly and stress-free.
Millcreek Inn is nice in the sense that they set up the tables/furniture for you so you just have to deal with your decorations. Speaking of decorations, they have items in their inventory that you can utilize (and for free!) so you don't have to worry about making sure you have everything on hand. They also have miscellaneous items on hand so if you have a wardrobe malfunction, they've got your back. Millcreek Inn makes sure the bride and groom are taken care of - they make sure you eat, they make sure you drink, and they make sure your table is shaded from the sun. Our wedding was during the day so we did get hit with the harsh mid-day sun. Everyone was grateful that there were large patio umbrellas set up for the tables not under the large tent. I was worried the tent would look gaudy, but it actually added a nice whimsical aesthetic to our day. We were also glad that you have to use their in-house catering, as it took away the task of having to look for a good caterer. I read reviews that their chef is great and their food is delicious, so I was never worried.
The only negative thing I have to point out is that we never got a rehearsal before our wedding day. I'm not sure if it was due to Covid, or if it was overlooked or not prioritized by the staff. Either way, they did not have available dates for us to have a quick rehearsal so we had to rush through it right before our guests arrived on the day of. The only few dates they had was right smack in the afternoon on a weekday, or weeks out from our actual day. We couldn't make any of those work because we had a good majority of our bridal party only fly in that weekend, and the rest of us had to work during the week. It was extremely unfortunate and definitely added to my wedding planning stress. But it did all work out in the end as we had a knowledgeable DJ to run things through with everyone in the morning.
After our wedding, we received a lot of feedback from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. (If you have a brunch wedding, get the apple butter french toast!! Many of our guests are still talking about it to this day.) The thing I love most about Millcreek Inn is that you get the whole venue to yourself for your time slot, so you will never have to worry about dealing with strangers looking at you. Added big bonus for us, they're pet friendly! We're so grateful our dog got to be a part of our big day, and he even got to be with our guests on the dance floor. Overall, I would highly recommend Millcreek Inn for your event/wedding venue!

We loved our wedding at Millcreek Inn! The venue itself is beautiful! The patio in the woods is a stunning setting for a wedding. Our April wedding had the tents covering the patio, but the tent is so elegant looking, with white lights strung inside. All of my guests loved it there! I was actually pretty nervous for my wedding because Millcreek had a change in event coordinators about 3 weeks before my wedding. I was worried that it would not go smoothly, being that some of the staff had switched over, but I didn't have to worry at all! My individual coordinator and the rest of the staff made everything absolutely perfect. There was not one thing that went wrong that day. The dinner was incredible (we did the slider buffet), the staff was so friendly, and they helped us make sure all our little details played out smoothly. If you're looking for a romantic mountain wedding for a fair price, Millcreek Inn is the way to go!

This venue is so beautiful and very well taken care of. The staff is so nice and extremely helpful. It was so nice that they provided an event coordinator. It helped relieve a lot of stress and confusion about the wedding process. The food was amazing, and it was so nice to not have to spend a lot of money on decor because the property and location are so stunning. I can't say enough good things about our experience there!

I was blown away by Millcreek Inn's beauty when I first saw the place - I knew I had to get married there. After reading some bad reviews online, I was a little hesitant to book them but after having my wedding this weekend, I can honestly say those reviews couldn't have been more wrong. I picked the most perfect place with awesome people working my wedding. Ali was our wedding coordinator - she addressed all my questions (which were alot) with promptness and she was very accommodating to all my needs on the actual wedding day. Overall, it is a pricey venue, but you do get what you pay for. EVERYONE at my wedding said they've never been to such a classy wedding and could not stop raving about the food. Highly recommend to future brides and anyone who wants a rustic, classy wedding in the mountains.

My husband and I fell in love with each other in the mountains. When we were searching for a venue, we were eager to find something that fit our personalities and love for the outdoors. From the minute that I saw Millcreek Inn, I knew we had found the place. The entire property is gorgeous, but it was really the staff and chef that made our evening perfect. My husband comes from a big family, and we had fourteen (yes, 14!) kids under the age of 15 as our wedding party and ushers. The staff was so attentive my guests, and helped throw the best party ever. The food was phenomenal, and the chef made mac and cheese for our younger guests that was so good, the adults kept stealing bites! Planning the event was the only stressful part, as we were passed through four different event planners and were not able to finalize the menu and details until two weeks before the wedding. However, their professionalism and efficiency on the day of our wedding made for a completely stress-free wedding, which is the dream, right? I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a fun, beautiful, relaxed venue in the beauty of the Salt Lake City mountains.

We had our dream wedding at Millcreek Inn! All the staff were helpful and professional. Especially Ali and Rebecca who coordinate the majority of the event. They also gave a great list of recommendations for vendors such as: DJ, Cake, Transportation, florist, videographer, and photographer. The atmosphere is very romantic with lots of beautiful areas to take photographs. The sit down dinner and desert bar provide by Millcreek was delicious! We could not have asked for a better experience!
