Welcome to The Steam Plant, downtown Dayton’s “newest” event venue! The former power generating plant has undergone a careful three year renovation preserving the historical integrity of the building while adding modern amenities for today’s discerning couple.

The Grand Hall is the primary event space offering nearly 6000 square feet to create a memorable event! Some of the many architectural features of The Grand Hall include floor to ceiling arched windows, exposed brick and beams, uplit columns, polished concrete floors, operational ceiling fans, and the show piece of the room, a two-story custom built-in bar. Off the bar area is The Cigar Patio, a lovely outdoor courtyard perfect for a quaint ceremony, cocktails, a place for the guys to take a cigar break or breath of fresh air. Below the Grand Hall is the lower level former Boiler Room, another unique area useable for a dance club, after party, an intimate ceremony, event or reception space.

One of the highlights of The Steam Plant is The Bridal Suite, a spacious retreat designed with brides in mind. The suite offers plenty of room for brides and their squad to spread out and prepare for the big day! A salon style sink and mirrors for hair and make-up preparation, soft furniture and table seating, TV, bar area and plenty of natural light for photographers to capture the scene. .Off the suite is another one-of-a-kind feature unique to The Steam Plant, a 58-foot Catwalk overlooking The Grand Hall. Imagine a bouquet toss, toast or dramatic entry, the possibilities are endless! The Steam Plant also has a second getting ready space for grommsmen or bridal parties, The Locker Room. Located in the lower level, away from the bridal suite, a unique and quaint space for wedding day preparations.

The Steam Plant also offers a beautifully landscaped Outdoor Space which is a true urban oasis perfect for a ceremony, reception or moonlit soiree.
