There are so many good things to say about the Steam Plant. First of all, the venue itself is STUNNING. They did an amazing job restoring this property. There are so many photo opportunities and having a gigantic bridal suite made the morning so easy. Not to mention the boys were able to shower 30min before photos so they were all clean and ready to go. It is truly the little details throughout this property that make it so special. You can have an entirely indoor wedding or a mixture of both. It’s less than a mile away from two hotels allowing for guests to access the property very easily. There is parking ***just make sure to not leave your car in the gated section overnight*** the spots behind are fine for overnight parking, just not the gated. They are partnered/owned with/by Elite Catering which is another amazing company to work with. Their food options are above and beyond, so many to pick from, and the food itself received SO MANY compliments from our guests. We had a few snafus (due to mistakes on our end) and everyone we dealt with at the steam plant were extremely nice and accommodating. We interacted with Lisa, Molly, and Rachel and they were all lovely. Again, I could talk about this venue for hours. It’s one of a kind and played a major part in the wedding memories we will have forever. Thank you all so much.

Our daughter had her dream wedding at The Steam Plant. She searched venues in Dayton and Columbus and couldn’t be happier with the beautiful Steam Plant. The design and details in decor were first class. We were welcomed when we arrived in the morning by the owner and he was very helpful. The bridal sweet was a dream and even had working salon chairs. Iced champagne was waiting for us. The men’s locker room is amazing with beautiful wood lockers and a large screen TV. Two of our vendors shared that her wedding was the most beautiful wedding they ever worked. Our family has been in the Dayton area for five generations and the groom’s family traveled from Pittsburg. The venue is close to two nice Marriott hotels and great dining and night life for rehearsal dinner and welcome reception. Thank you to the Riazzi family and the Steam Plant for making our daughter’s day perfect and reminding us that “it’s great in Dayton”.

This venue had my heart the moment I walked in for our tour. Lisa and her team at the Steam Plant are a bunch of sweethearts that have made it their mission to solve any hassle on your wedding day. We opted in for the suite and the locker room, which were a dream. There was so much space to have hair and makeup and food – with space to still relax. My bridal party still jokes that it’s crazy we had a wedding after getting ready because that part of the process was so much fun. The venue is gorgeous everywhere you look and I had so much fun peering over the balcony from the suite to watch everything come together. I had so many people tell me how gorgeous the venue was throughout the day and I couldn’t have been happier with this decision. It was an honor to get married at the Steam Plant, and I would recommend it a million times over!

The Steam Plant was everything we dreamed of for our wedding venue, and it was even better in the winter because they decorate for Christmas! Even more, fom the get, Lisa was so helpful and so welcoming. She offered constant support and provided sample photos, up to date health and safety info and more, sometimes without us even having to ask! If you’re looking for a venue for both your wedding and reception, this is the perfect spot. They are experts at a room flip! We were so sad to see our wedding day come to an end because this venue made it so beautiful!

Lisa and the Steam Plant team were amazing to work with. They were flexible and helped make our day exactly how we pictured it! They were incredible to work with! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and I love how versatile the space is. I've been to other weddings there and each event looks and feels unique - just like the couple! We couldn't have been happier with how our wedding turned out. Also, the bridal space was an incredible addition and I'm so happy we were able to get ready there the morning of the wedding! All around, we had an amazing experience and could not recommend the venue more!

The Steam Plant is by far the BEST venue in Dayton. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but Lisa is very professional and easy to work with. The bridal suite is one of a kind and provided plenty of room for all of my bridal party and hair/makeup artists. Our guests are still talking about how unique and beautiful our wedding venue was. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely experience here! The caterer and the venue and everybody worked so well together. They worked hard to pull off a beautiful wedding for us. It's a beautiful industrial venue unlike anything else we saw, and it was an excellent value for the cost.

I’m so happy we decided to have our reception at the Steam Plant! It was a gorgeous venue and we were so pleased with the way it turned out for our big day! Our guests raved about the building and how it had been renovated. We used the bridal suite for hair and makeup which was beautiful and convenient- lots of great natural light and comfortable. I love that we were able to bring in our own caterer and alcohol- saved us a ton of money and we were able to get exactly what we wanted. Lisa is fantastic and is easy to work with. Highly recommend this new venue!

Having our wedding at The Steam Plant was absolutely perfect! Lisa was amazing to work with from the start, answering all of our questions and staying in touch throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue is unreal and we got so many compliments on what a awesome space it is. It was wonderful have the bridal suit and grooms lounge to get ready in prior to the wedding. There are also so many great spaces/windows to take photos! We loved having a designated space for the cocktail hour and the team quickly and efficiently flipped the room from the ceremony to the reception. From set up, to clean up someone was on site making sure everything went smoothly. Overall, it is a beautiful venue with an outstanding team that made it the best day ever! We highly recommend!

The Steam Plant was the perfect place to host our wedding in Dayton. I can't say enough about the Bridal Suite - it is the best place to get ready; they have everything you need and plenty of space for the bride and her gang to get ready! The venue is gorgeous and really stands on its own as a feature and needs very little decoration; everyone of our guests talked about how gorgeous it was. The natural lighting was fantastic as well. Also - the open bar gave my dad the opportunity to share his bourbon collection and it was just an added bonus to a perfect evening. They were so flexible as well with all of our requests and with our guests!
