Amazing work! Great attitude and incredibly professional service. Would recommend for anyone who is interested in getting married around the Dayton area.

We loved working with everyone at the Top of the Market! Emily is excellent at her job! She was quick to address all our questions & concerns over our 11 month planning period. No question was too silly or ridiculous...at least she never let us to believe they were-and that’s just good customer service:) That was most evident when the Memorial Day tornadoes hit 5 days before our wedding was to take place and knocked out the water & power at the Market! Emily and the staff did everything they could to prepare for our day with what they had - - in the dark, and appeared to be calm and she assured me everything would work out or they would MAKE it work. I’m sure she was freaking out a little but she never let me see it! Again-great customer service! Thankfully, power & water was restored 2 1/2 days before! 🙏 We had our wedding ceremony & reception in The Warehouse and loved the spaciousness & the urban setting. Emily and her staff went out of their way to make sure the bride, groom, and we (parents of the bride) were attended to with beverages all night. I can’t emphasize the amazing service enough! The bar... I’ll just say I never heard anyone complain of watered down drinks! Now for the food...DELICIOUS! We served a breakfast buffet for dinner. The egg casserole with cheese, spinach & sundried tomatoes is amazing! The raspberry/white chocolate scones were definitely a favorite I could not get enough of! Other favorites: the sausage, ham, and the maple infused chicken chunks! They offered so many menu choices but we added a few of those ala carte items to round out the dinner that would suit all our guests. We had many guests comment on how well everything tasted! It’s my own fault I did not go back for seconds-but the staff kept it open long enough for anyone to enjoy more servings if they wanted. Another huge asset to booking with T. O. M. is the all inclusive service-the east of them setting up and cleaning up after the event cannot be undervalued or overlooked! After a long year of planning and a long day of partying, it was a relief to not have to clean up! If this venue is in your budget -you will not be disappointed! It was a truly memorable night for all the right reasons!! Thank you to everyone at the TOM! (added pictures below are pre-ceremony with no electricity)

The Mandalay was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. I had a very large wedding and this was one of the few venues in Dayton that was able to hold 300+ and still keep the price at an affordable cost. Lindsay met with us multiple times to make sure that everything was how I expected it to be and spent the time to talk through numerous phone calls the week leading up to the wedding whenever I had questions. We were able to come in the day before the wedding to set decorations up and she worked with my other vendors who came in (catering, decorating, and DJ) so that I would not have to worry about it. The staff who worked my wedding reception were incredibly nice and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend them over and over again!

The only thing I didn't like is that we had to rent chairs for the outdoor ceremony. Everything else was great! And very affordable! We even rented the night before to decorate everything.

Had our daughter's wedding reception there. They are under construction, and although we were told this wouldn't affect us on the weekend (as the workers only worked M-F) the day before we were told that they would be working until after our event started on Saturday. Even after we were reassured that this wouldn't happen, it did. And then more jackhammering on Sunday! It is a beautiful facility. The lead manager, however was given specific instructions regarding things and she did not follow through on wedding day and had to be reminded. Reception staff seemed to have a difficult time keeping up with refilling the stations -- this was somewhat embarrassing! Food in general was good, although the pasta station had a very difficult time keeping up with guests. Service staff was excellent, and to my knowledge, no issues with the hotel rooms or staff. Am looking forward to see what it looks like after the renovation!

There are so many good things to say about the Steam Plant. First of all, the venue itself is STUNNING. They did an amazing job restoring this property. There are so many photo opportunities and having a gigantic bridal suite made the morning so easy. Not to mention the boys were able to shower 30min before photos so they were all clean and ready to go. It is truly the little details throughout this property that make it so special. You can have an entirely indoor wedding or a mixture of both. It’s less than a mile away from two hotels allowing for guests to access the property very easily. There is parking ***just make sure to not leave your car in the gated section overnight*** the spots behind are fine for overnight parking, just not the gated. They are partnered/owned with/by Elite Catering which is another amazing company to work with. Their food options are above and beyond, so many to pick from, and the food itself received SO MANY compliments from our guests. We had a few snafus (due to mistakes on our end) and everyone we dealt with at the steam plant were extremely nice and accommodating. We interacted with Lisa, Molly, and Rachel and they were all lovely. Again, I could talk about this venue for hours. It’s one of a kind and played a major part in the wedding memories we will have forever. Thank you all so much.
