Disclaimer: We are not huge cake/sweets people, however we can't praise Emily at Geraldine's Bakery enough! In fact, my husband claims our Almond Wedding Cake with Almond Buttercream Frosting is the best he's ever had. Emily was quick to respond to inquiries via email and extremely accommodating. in addition to our wedding cake, we ordered red velvet, chocolate w/chocolate fudge frosting cupcakes and an assortment of donuts. All of which, were beautifully displayed for our guests to help themselves to after our cake cutting. We had such a great experience that we decided to buy the Father of the Bride's birthday cake from here as well, which Emily very kindly made on short notice. Not to mention, the pricing was the best we could find in the area!

Delicious cupcakes! This was one of the easiest parts of planning my wedding thanks to The Sisters McMullen. The cupcakes looked gorgeous, and they tasted amazing too! I would highly recommend The Sisters McMullen for wedding cupcakes or cakes.

We loved working with The Sisters McMullen. We had a short engagement and the cake was one of the very last things I got to in my planning. With a very short timeline, The Sisters McMullen was so accommodating to us and created a gorgeous wedding cake based off of a photograph I had. They were recommended to me for delicious cake and a great price-point and I couldn't agree more. The cake was so yummy and the price fit our tight budget. The pictures of our cake are some of my favorites from the reception. It was just lovely (and really delicious - several guests commented on it)!!

The wedding cake was awesome! They did a fabulous job decorating with ribbons, and made the cake to look like a gift table. It was beautiful! The cake tasted delicious, we did a tasting and they are very moist and yummy! They do not use fondant, which makes the cakes taste so much better, and they can still make them look awesome without using fondant. It was definitely a great experience, and we would use them again!

The Sisters McMullen did our cake, and it was beautiful and yummy. We had a small wedding and they worked with us to find a suitable size cake. I had found a photo of a cake that I fell in love with and one of the bakers took a look and assured me she was looking forward to the challenge. She did wonderfully!

You can't find a better deal than Sisters McMullen! the price was the best i could find in the area and the cake tasted wonderful. they also provided cake for our rehearsal dinner and pies (instead of a groom's cake). they were very pleasant to work with and always got back to me. i love this place and will continue to buy cakes for birthdays in the future.

We found the Sister's McMullen as a last minute cupcake maker for our wedding. We had planned a location wedding and somehow managed to forget the cake in the planning. When we arrived in Asheville, it dawned on us that we had forgotten the cake, so we called around to see who could make us cupcakes with only 48 hours notice. The Sisters not only managed to make us the cupcakes, but they were moist, delicious and had our initials on them in beautiful icing. They were very, very helpful!

If I would have gotten married in Asheville, I would have had Sisters McMullen do my cake! their food is delish and i love going into the store for a cupcake after walking around downtown. they are always professional and i recommend this company to future brides!

I did not get a wedding cake from them but a cake for my daughter's birthday. Must say the service was not what I had expected. They mis-spelled her name and then I had to drive the cake all the way to their other store so that they could fix it. The woman who fixed the cake scrapped across the cake with a spatula and wiped the icing off on the edge of a trash can and then put the spatula back on the cake. Please be advised, this is not a very sanitary bakery.
