Suzie’s world renowned vocals and Ben’s unique guitar style/vocal harmonies set this group apart in a league of their own. They can perform any part of your wedding from Pre Ceremony through the Reception and can be accompanied by more musicians if desired to form a trio or 4-piece band. They can also learn new songs specifically for your wedding day as well as devise a playlist of your favorite songs that flawlessly symbolizes your loving relationship.

Hailing from Spokane WA, Ben has been playing music and in the music industry for 25+ years. Playing multiple instraments, singing to running the sound makes Ben, the backbone of our band.
Ben was once signed to Atlantic records at age 19 then met Suzie at 22 years of age. They started playing music and married in 2005 in Spokane and then formed The Side Project and have since played 200 + weddings in the united states, mainly in the northwest. Neevermind the countless thousands of original/cover shows making them full time musicians.
Ben has a great attitude and easy going personality witch makes for such a great team player and band leader. Being the youngest of 3 older sisters make him such a great person to have on our team. Ben has worked with Special ED for over 15 years in school districts in Washington state. Beautiful inside and out, we are blessed to have him as our Co-Founder & Lead at The Side Project.
