We were able to sit down with the Dawn well in advance of the wedding, tasted her various options for cakes which were all amazing, and concocted a 4-tier cake plan with her, made out of four different kinds of cake. She was very flexible with what we wanted and it looked amazing at the wedding. We shopped around, and it was also the best value we could find, by far.

The Shy Cookie created the cake for my August 19th wedding. Our wedding was in a barn with a country chic theme. The downside to our reception site is there's no air conditioning, which can wreak havoc on a frosted cake!

The Shy Cookie came up with a "naked cake" meaning there was no frosting on the sides of the cake. There is still lots of frosting between layers, but it prevents the dreaded sliding down of frosting. It was very fitting for our rustic wedding, and it was delicious!

Dawn let us design our wedding cake with no limits. Anything was possible. As a multi-award winning baker, we were lucky to have her make our wedding cake and groom's cake. Everything turned out beautifully and each layer was a different flavor. Many compliments were given regarding the cake on our wedding day. The price was unbeatable also.
