I want to thank Tyler and Bonnie for helping me have the most beautiful bridal shower/brunch for my daughter this past Sunday. What a beautiful venue and wonderful people to work with. They were so helpful in planning , from the tables to the mimosas! Their website provided me with the perfect caterer and chalkboard artist. I wouldn’t have been able to have done it without all of them. Thank you so much!

We hosted a baby shower at the Schoolhouse on 8/22/20 - it truly was a dream come true! Gail and the staff at The Schoolhouse are exceptional. The venue is beautiful. The grounds are meticulous - the perfect combination of greens, florals, and stone. The Schoolhouse and Tavern are rustic and charming, but with luxurious touches such as hand towels in the bathrooms, gorgeous lighting, and music throughout. The schoolroom has multiple chalkboards, we used the chalkboard artist that Gail suggested, and the artwork was beautiful, the perfect touch to our event. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our guests were taken care of, they truly treated us like family. The contract is very clear, outlining exactly what is included and what is not, and Gail worked with us on every detail. The venue was more than accommodating in the wake of COVID, setting up a large tent outside, and suggested a flow that would meet both the new mom's wishes, the social distancing requirements, and provide a great experience for the guests. The guests RAVED about their experience - from the beautiful venue to the service, and the mom-to-be said it was more the she ever dreamed - a fairytale! I truly can't say enough good things about this place, and HIGHLY recommend it!

We had the Rehearsal Dinner for our son and his bride at The Schoolhouse. We live in Florida so all the planning was long distance. Gail was wonderful and very responsive. She suggested catering service options and purchased all the floral arrangements on our behalf. The Schoolhouse is just so charming and everyone loved the evening. The drinks were flowing and the caterer was outstanding. We wish we could do it all again. We highly recommend this venue!

I used The Schoolhouse for my wedding reception. They set up the tables and had everything ready to go when we arrived. Everything felt very natural and simple (which is the feel that I wanted). All of my guests loved the atmosphere and kept asking me "How did you find this place?!". The owners and staff are wonderful to work with an be around. If I ever need another event venue, I will definitely consider coming back to The Schoolhouse!!

The best day of my life and I thank you Gail for making that happen. The perfect venue for any occasion especially a wedding! "You don't have to do a thing, except show up looking pretty" is what Gail told me. She was right! She took care of everything! And all my guests say that it was the "perfect wedding"! I couldn't agree more!

We have hosted various events here and visited the tavern for drinks and live music. We have always loved this eastablishment! Howver, we were over-the-top impressed and more than satisfied in October 2017 when our son celebrated his wedding and reception here. Beautiful setting, top-notch service and the owner who went out of her way to be sure everything was perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My husband and I got married in a private ceremony and then had our wedding party at The Schoolhouse two months later. The place is gorgeous and has so much character on it's own, you don't necessarily need to do much decoration wise if you don't want to. We kept it pretty simple for this reason. We loved the space and wanted it's natural character to shine through! Gail and her team were easy to work with, amazingly friendly, and have hosted so many events that they have a ton of great ideas to help you along the way if you need any ideas. They also use Sonos for sound throughout the building which was great for us since we just made a playlist on our phones and it played throughout the venue as well as outside. It's an amazing place for photos as well!! We loved it and were so incredibly pleased with everything and everyone who works there! (The expenses below include an open beer and wine bar that we paid for, the venue and rental fees are very reasonable on their own if you don't pay for your guests drinks)
