Current owners Jim and Donna Winner, have carefully restored this setting to its original glory, and they are honored to help couples celebrate their special day. Facilities and Capacity

Buhl Mansion Guesthouse & Spa offers a fairytale-worthy setting for your milestone day. Weddings can be held in the Carriage House, as well as across the stunning gardens. A ceremony in the garden venue can be attended by up to 120 of your loved ones. The Carriage House can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests. Classic French doors open the house onto an enclosed courtyard, making sure guests can get some fresh air between dining and dancing. The courtyard can also be tented and can accommodate up to 120 guests. An intimate ceremony and cocktail hour in the Victorian-style greenhouse is well-suited for couples looking for a smaller gathering. In the house, to-be-weds can choose between the stately dining room and The Parlour, which are also ideal for more intimate celebrations.

History

This mansion was built by steel tycoon Frank H. Buhl as a wedding gift for his love, Julia. He wanted to give her a castle to call her home and requested architect Charles Owsley design this Romanesque structure. With its turrets and landscaped grounds, it has remained a breathtaking symbol of their love for one another. After both Frank and Julia passed away, the property changed ownership several times and had many original features were taken away, from staircases to chandeliers. Jim and Donna Winner, however, have lovingly returned the house to its original state. They are excited to share it with as many people as possible.
