Facilities and Capacity
The Santa Cruz is an old world haven, offering an escape from today's fast-paced life and an opportunity to step back to a time of rich New Mexico heritage. Our property features a sprawling historic adobe villa behind a private gated entrance, situated amongst lush acres of cottonwood trees and gardens, just 25 miles north of Santa Fe in the valley of the Santa Cruz River. The property's origins date back to the early 1800's when it served as the stagecoach stop between Santa Fe and Taos along the El Camino Real. The charming chapel on the property, built in mission style, was one of the earliest constructed in the area. Today, this sanctuary, which we call El Sagrado (meaning "The Sacred"), welcomes couples of any faith and spirituality as an intimate venue for their big day. Our property also features several other options for your ceremony and celebration, including a hacienda-style courtyard, multiple covered outdoor spaces, and beautiful landscaping with mature trees. The Santa Cruz also has a serene pool and hot tub, and romantic honeymoon suite, allowing couples to have some separation from their guests throughout their stay.
Our property allows for up to 12 of your closest family and friends to stay with you while making timeless memories during your special weekend. The Santa Cruz is rented exclusively to one party at a time. Couples have the freedom to plan their wedding their way with chair and table rentals onsite and unrestricted choice of outside vendors.
We can provide table and chair rentals on site for up to 125 people. We also offer assistance with catering, floral and cake vendors, if needed.

We love to spend time outdoors, especially in New Mexico, where we reside when not in Texas. We are passionate about travel and discovering new destinations off the beaten path. Our other interests include gardening, art and cooking, all of which we enjoying sharing with our children. We also have a funky little dog named Luna--a corgi-lab mutt--who we absolutely adore! We have a deep love for northern New Mexico, where we have been in the hospitality arena for 5 years, focused in the Santa Fe area. We find that we are most at peace when we are in our desert.
