David (wedding coordinator) at La Fonda is the absolute best. We loved working with him every step of the way. He is so knowledgeable and made great suggestions. We had a small intimate wedding (30 guests). He is so responsive by phone and email. We can’t thank David enough for everything he did for us! My family loved staying at La Fonda as well. All staff there (front desk, valet, restaurant) had great service.

Stunning resort right on the Santa Fe Plaza!! The food and drinks were delicious and Lyric was amazing to work with, she has an answer and a solution for everything!!! She made our day so special!!! Thank you so much to her and everyone at La Posada for a dream come true!!!

For those of you considering having a wedding here, I highly recommend it; the event director Kristina is very organized and capable and she helped keep the stress levels from having a destination wedding at a manageable level. The gazebo is a beautiful location for a ceremony and there are several rooms and outdoor spaces appropriate for a reception. Our ceremony went off without a hitch. We were going to have our reception outdoors but it started raining on the reception so they moved us inside, they put up a wall in the Tesuque Ballroom to section off a smaller room with a pretty fireplace for the reception, it was very pretty even at the last minute. The move could have been a little smoother, but I'll cut them some slack. We took a little longer with the photography than we were supposed to so we weren't right there to take charge of decisions. Really my advice would be to hire a coordinator, even if you think you don't need one, otherwise the banquet captains will be coming to you for instructions. Even though they will have a timeline for events, they seem to want confirmation on everything rather than just bringing stuff out. Since most people don't want to be dealing with this at their reception (I didn't!) a coordinator really is a must. I'm not dinging them for this though as they do tell you that they do not coordinate for you so it's not a surprise, though I figured they'd just plow through the timeline we gave them rather than asking me at each step what we wanted to do. But as I said I think in our case a lot of it was our fault for being late back from photography and also just confusion from the rain. As far as value goes, it really depends on your budget and priorities. It is not a cheap venue overall, but it's one of the prettiest around and that's worth something to me. The food is definitely not cheap but it is good, even at the cheapest price tier we used. Extras like A/V support, lighting may get you so plan for it.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Inn and Spa at Loretto on 12/31/15. Everything was SPECTACULAR. As we had a NYE wedding and expected guests to have the longevity to celebrate into the new year, we opted to have a later than normal ceremony. We were married at 8pm. As such we chose to do heavy hors d'oeuvres and two late night food bars. I, personally, had never been to a wedding that didn't do a seated dinner and wasn't sure exactly how that would work logistically. Their Events Services Manager, Lesley Escobar, not only completely understood my vision but helped to facilitate every single details. She even made suggestions to add a large puff pastry wrapped baked brie and made suggestions as to how to facilitate both seating and high top tables for a lounge-y NYE feel. Lesley was extremely easy to get in touch with throughout the 8 months of planning. We chose to have our rehearsal dinner here as well and the Chef made a personalized dish based on my request for an upscale, modern twist on traditional New Mexican food. We had pinon encrusted pork chops and red chile pesto chicken that was out of this world. The Plaza on NYE was packed as you can imagine but they waived the typical valet fee and provided affordable room rates for the guests. I could go on and on about our experience but bottom line is that the venue is gorgeous- in fact it was rated 2nd best hotel in ALL of the Southwest and best hotel in New Mexico by Conde Nast Traveler this year. We got married during the winter which not only made it cheaper, but allowed us to have photos with New Mexico's gorgeous luminaria/farolitos. Lesley absolutely made the experience what it was. I experienced 0 stress the day of the wedding because I felt so confident in the work Lesley had put in on the front end. I highly highly recommend this venue.

Working with David Stone from the Eldorado Hotel has been amazing. He has been extremely approachable and accommodating. He has answered all of our questions and given us great ideas for our big day. We are excited to have our wedding at the Eldorado Hotel.

We can’t say enough about our experience at the Four Seasons. From the stunning outdoor beauty of the venue to a staff that is so organized, welcoming and friendly, and the incredible food, we couldn’t have imagined a more incredible place to have our wedding. The Four Seasons and Stephan Miller the Director of Catering and Events- they offer an incredible experience without any worries or concerns. Everything was beautiful and taken care of and our guests were so complimentary of the experience they had at our wedding, the food and friendliness of the staff, It was a dream wedding for so many reasons there- we would choose it a thousand times over.

What an incredible gem. We celebrated our elopement at the Inn and the experience could not have been more perfect. The room was beautiful, the staff were so friendly, so accommodating. Caitlin performed the ceremony in the garden and it was exquisite. It really was a magical day followed by a magical stay. They made everything so easy and so welcoming, even our pup was treated like royalty. And the food…. Wow. We had to get the cookbook so we could try everything! Thank you to the team at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear for helping us make such beautiful memories!! ❤️

The Lodge was the perfect location for our wedding party and out of town guests to stay. The reservations and sales departments were always available for questions and solutions. The Lodge is a beautiful location in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
