This venue has an ambiance of quiet elegance, marked by historic charm and a classic, vintage style. Hotel Parq Central features many beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to host receptions, elegant sit-down meals, and parties, accommodating up to 175 guests. The Santa Fe room is a 540 square foot meeting room filled with natural light from three large windows. The Highlands is a 408 square foot meeting room, ideal for smaller to mid-sized gatherings. The largest event space is The Parlor, measuring 1,280 square feet. A hip, stylish rooftop lounge also offering some of the best views in the city, ideal for your wedding or party.
Hotel Parq Central offers wedding packages to suit your needs and stay in line with your budget. Packages include customized catering menus, discounted room rates for you and your guests, a complimentary wedding night suite for the couple, unique guest rooms that can accommodate up to 20 guests, complimentary champagne toasts, continental breakfasts, airport transportation for guests, parking, and basic decorations, linens, and centerpiece options. They also offer a variety of catering services to choose from, from buffets and family style meals to plated dinners, stations, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. Fully customizable catering options are available at Hotel Parq Central. The culinary team and chef have years of experience helping you create a one-of-a-kind event that is unique to you and your partner's tastes and preferences. Cuisine styles offered include American, Italian, Latin American, local, Mediterranean, Mexican, Southern, Southwestern, and Spanish.
Hotel Parq Central is housed in a building built in 1924, and was fully preserved in 2010. The building was previously a hospital for employees of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company. Historical artifacts throughout the hotel and event space include old maps, pieces of depression-era glass, and coat hangers made from reclaimed railroad artifacts.
On-site houses and accommodations include The Residence, which is a unique setting featuring 9 guest rooms and two suites each with a king bed and pull out sofa, and a family gathering area. The Powerhouse offers a suite and two king rooms, all three open to a common hallway with a private entrance. In addition to these two accommodations, Hotel Parq Central offers 74 guest rooms including 15 luxury suites.

Hands-down the best wedding planning decision was choosing Hotel Parq Central
We had an absolutely wonderful wedding reception experience at Hotel Parq Central. Dominique met with us multiple times during our wedding planning process to make sure that the decor and wedding day timeline was executed flawlessly, and I really appreciated how quickly she responded to all of my questions via email. The entire events staff on the day of the wedding were extremely helpful and wonderful to all of our guests. Working with the hotel was seriously the easiest part of wedding planning for me. We brought in tons of our own decor for the wedding and it was set up perfectly. Our guests keep raving about how delicious the food was. I also loved how flexible the catering and bar setup was, we customized it to fit exactly what we wanted. The complimentary honeymoon suite was amazing. Surpassed our expectations!
We had our ceremony and reception here and it was beautiful and absolutely perfect! Dominique is amazing and made everything so easy. She was always fast to respond to my emails when I had questions. We met with her a couple times to go over all the details such as décor and the day of timeline. Everything went so smoothly the day of because of her and the rest of her staff. The ceremony space is gorgeous as is, so I didn’t add anything extra and I didn’t add much to the reception space either. The space was perfect for our guest count of 60. Our guests commented on how beautiful everything was, how delicious the food was, and that they had a great time. Everyone also really liked the cocktail hour on the rooftop. We even had guests tell us that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! The complimentary wedding suite was an awesome bonus. The cost is such a great value for everything you get. Dominique was amazing she was always available for questions and made our wedding perfect! The staff on the day of the wedding were very friendly and helpful to! This wedding exceeded my expectations and it’s all due to Dominique and her staff!
