From the first time I visited the Rotunda, I just fell in love. I knew I had to have my wedding reception there. They are located on the water in Sheepshead, Brooklyn. With ceiling to floor windows all around, the view is just spectacular.

At first, a lot of my guest were worried when they heard we were having the reception at a school. But once they got there, they were just blown away. Some people said just sitting by the water and having a cocktail made them feel comfortable and all their worries were gone.

The staff that worked with us were very professional and helpful. Kate Wayler was the best. After the wedding, we actually missed her. She made everything just perfect. She coordinated all the vendors and made sure everything was done correctly.

I cannot possibly say enough about Kate Wayler and the Rotunda at Kingsborough. Due to the nature of our work, my wife and I had to plan our wedding in Sheepshead Bay from Chicago. Kate was nothing short of spectacular. She always made it a point to communicate with us. E-mails and phone calls were responded to quickly, there was always a sense of friendliness and professionalism, and no matter what our request, she constantly made it a point to be accommodating and helpful. And, on the day of the wedding, Kate kept me sane. Everything was under control, nothing was too much to handle, and she always took care of things with a smile. We just wanted to take a second to thank her, first and foremost.

As for the Rotunda itself - you couldn't ask for a better place to get married. The space by the water is picturesque for an outdoor ceremony, the lobby and lawn are perfect for a cocktail hour, and the main space is huge, scenic and accommodating. We were beyond thrilled with our experience and would recommend the Rotunda to anyone getting married in the area. You won't be sorry!
