The River Room was our perfect location for our wedding day. It was an amazing representation of my husband and I - the beautiful exposed brick, the white walls for countless design ideas, lots of natural light from the big windows, the cozy string lights, the river view and even the quaint deck space we used for pictures and cocktail hour. Paige was so charming and nice to work with. All of our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space. Our wedding was 64 people and it wasn't too big or too small. The tables fit perfectly throughout the room even with all of our food stations and DJ. My favorite part of the venue was the bridal suite - big enough for me and 4 of my bridesmaids/man to relax in before the start of the day. We are so happy we chose the River Room - it was the happiest day of our lives.

The River Room is a gorgeous events space in downtown Wilmington, right on the river in the heart of the action. It's a blank slate and really perfect for couples that want to make a space their own. The venue rental fee is affordable and includes tables & chairs and a few other essential items, plus the outdoor deck can be added on for a nominal fee. We were glad we added it because guests loved hanging out there, and it was the perfect place for the cocktail hour, giving the team time to flip the space between the ceremony and reception. The max is 100 people but it would be tight with 100, you'd have to break down 2 tables in order to make room for dancing. We had 82 people and it was perfect. The team is attentive and easy to work with. Highly recommend for smaller weddings!

I was just married this past weekend here, and it was STUNNING. The place was absolutely gorgeous. George and Brittanie were phenomenal to work with through everything, including having to reschedule due to COVID. They have quite a bit of things that parties can use, and it saved us a good bit on rentals. Honestly, I really cannot come up with a bad thing to say. They worked with us through everything and our wedding was absolutely gorgeous. And you cant beat the location! Close to everything you would want. I would suggest ubering to parties there, but that's just a pro- tip! Definitely consider (and book) the River Room!

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for Brittanie and the River room team. It’s not easy to dream of your wedding day your whole life and put your trust in a stranger to help you made that day everything you’ve ever wanted. The River room team and Brittanie went above and beyond to make this day better than anything I could’ve have dreamed about. Our night went flawlessly and the stress of all the months of planning just rolled right off of us as soon as we arrived to the venue because we knew we were in the best hands. Their constant communication and help was more than I could’ve ever asked for. I am so beyond grateful for the River room team and Brittanie for making our big day so special. In March of 2021 we rented the River Room for my son's rehearsal dinner. The venue was beautiful as we hosted a large gathering of approximately 60 people. We also had an acoustic guitar player and shared a slideshow we had complied of the bride and groom. It was a magical evening. Brittanie and her staff were wonderful in answering all of our questions and her staff stayed throughout the evening coordinating and helping with anything we needed. My husband and I would recommend the River Room for any kind of celebration! It was an evening we will cherish for years to come!

The River Room is such a beautiful venue! It was the very first venue that I was very interested in and once we talked to Brittanie, we decided to choose it for the big day. This venue has so much character! The brick walls are absolutely beautiful and the string lights at the top brought such a beautiful vibe! The view of the river from the windows is also to die for! Since the first moment of contact, they made the venue booking process so easy and effortless! And may I say the pricing is amazing compared to other venues! We were incredibly pleased with this venue!
