Renaissance Center is an elegant, historic venue located in the heart of Joliet, Illinois. The center offers gorgeous, recently renovated banquet space along with classic, yet modern dining rooms for you and your guests to enjoy the delicious food that Renaissance Center’s in-house chef provides. Renaissance Center plays an important part in the history of the city of Joliet and continues to be a significant landmark in the town.

Facilities and Capacity
Renaissance Center is complete with five spaces, including dining rooms and a full banquet hall. The Renaissance Center is a lovely option for those seeking a larger wedding, as it can accommodate up to 450 guests. This venue also features a full-size cocktail bar that you and your guests can enjoy. The gorgeous full banquet hall is complete with a wide variety of decor, linens, and seating. The space is characterized by its funky chandeliers and its beautiful large windows which provide fantastic lighting for a daytime affair.

Cuisine
Renaissance Center has a talented in-house catering team that will provide you with a variety of food options. The Renaissance Center offers butlered appetizers, plated and buffet style dinner. If you and your guests desire some after hours fare, the Renaissance Center also offer a late night snack menu.

History
Originally built in 1924 and was designed by the legendary architect Daniel Burnham. Renaissance Center originally operated as the home of the Joliet Chamber of Commerce along with housing the legendary D'Amico's 214. At the time, Renaissance Center was famous for hosting some of the 20th century's most well-known musicians and performers. Renaissance Center is owned by the Joliet Junior College and in 2015, they began renovations before re-opening in 2017.

Beautiful and professional

We loved having our wedding reception at the Renaissance center. Mo and Charlie are professional and organized and helped our wedding reception run smoothly. We had guests tell us it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! So happy we chose this location.

Best Venue In Joliet!

My husband and I had not only 1, but 2 weddings at the Renaissance Center! This is the the best venue to have your ceremony and reception at, hands down. We had our small covid friendly ceremony here on the beautiful atrium stairs in November 2020, then finally were able to have the reception of our dreams in the banquet hall 1 year later on our anniversary. The staff goes above and beyond to exceed your expectations. We had the greatest experience working with them, and our guests loved it here and their experience as well! Gorgeous venue, awesome, helpful, and very friendly staff, (huge shout out to Maura & Charlie), & delicious food. Thank you Renaissance Center!

Amazing space!!

We chose the Renaissance for our wedding reception venue (married in September 2021) and could not have been happier with our decision! We received so many compliments from our guests on the facility, the spacious dancefloor, the food, and the attentiveness from the staff! From the beginning, Mo (Maura) and Charlie were incredibly organized and remained attentive throughout the whole planning process. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this venue!

Joliet's Best Wedding Venue!!!!

Amazing!! My husband and I had our wedding reception here on 06.15.19 and everything was PERFECT! The whole staff was so easy to work with from day one when we picked the venue all the way up to the day of, they were easy to contact and super helpful in answering all questions! On the day of, everything was amazing! We received so many compliments on the service and on the food and my husband and I never had to worry about a thing! Additionally, we were surprised with rain on the day of our wedding and the Renaissance Center made for beautiful photos!! I can not recommend the Renaissance Center enough, they made my dream wedding come to life!!

Had our wedding there on 6/30/18. Couldn’t have been more pleased with everything from the ceremony to the reception. The place is beautiful and food is outstanding. Mo does an amazing job making sure everything goes smooth and is super flexible. Recommend this place to anyone looking to get married in a beautiful and fun setting.

My now husband Mitch and I had our wedding and reception at the Renaissance Center. The facility was both elegant and beautiful and the perfect venue to hold our 150 guests that was in attendance. We couldn't have created this beautiful atmosphere if it wasn't for our wedding planner Susie Stockwell. Susie is so patient with brides and she is very creative. Her ideas on how to coordinate a wedding and reception make our entire event a success! She even went to Bicentennial Park with us to make sure that our photographer was taking the pictures that she envisioned for our wedding. She is truly the best wedding planner that I have met. Mitch and I highly recommend the Renaissance Center and Susie Stockwell to any bride that is getting married. If you want your wedding dreams to come true...contact the Renaissance Center and ask for Susie Stockwell.

The Renaissance Center provided the perfect venue for our Old Hollywood themed wedding. Susie Stockwell attended to our every need and remained flexible and reliable both throughout the planning process as well as the day of our wedding. One of the most important things that wedding guests remember is the food. Susie helped us to create a unique menu. All of our guests raved about the quality and flavor of the meals we selected. Let's face it - no one likes "wedding food." The Renaissance chefs delivered and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our reception selection.

The Renaissance Center and Susan were outstanding! It was very affordable and the food and service were perfect. Susan is wonderful. She was organized, made sure every last detail was perfect, and had great ideas. She made recommendations on vendors and contacted them when I couldn't reach them. She took all of the stress away, which allowed us to enjoy our special day. We had many complements from our guests on the food and decorations. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Several of my guests decided to book Susan after our wedding. I couldn't ask for more!

Fabulous! What more can I say? Everything was perfect. Susan is wonderful. She took care of a million things I never would have even thought of. I was free to enjoy the day without having to worry about anything. The venue is gorgeous and the food is great. I can't imagine a better place for my reception.
